Great English bar. We come here most days for a drink weather it's for a few or just one. Prices are great too
Great bar in the middle of L'Estartit, Spain that really appeals to the British that visit the town. More of a traditional English pub than our own. Very friendly staff that draw a great crowd and above all, great prices for a great pint.
coming to the end of our family holiday to L’estartit and we’ve been to the fighting cocks most evenings whilst we’ve been here. What a brilliant place and a lovely atmosphere of people… we’re sad to be leaving:( thankyou jo jo you were brilliant and so were you’re vodka lemonades😄

Can't understand the negative reviews. We've just come back from L'Estartit and visited this bar several times. It isn't a traditional English bar it is just a bar. Different nationalities mixing and all happy. Serves nice cold beer and spirits are very good value for money. Staff were more than happy to help, you can either be served at the table or go to the bar. Kids loved the pool table and were more than welcome. Nice place to sit and watch the world go by. Will definitely go back when we return to L'Estartit.
If you are looking for a fancy bar with table service then this is not the place for you... If you want a sensibly priced drink at an English bar with a brilliant atmosphere and a bit of banter then look no further. Fantastic bar staff and a really friendly mix of people of all nationalities. Its a better "english" bar than most bars in england 🤣... well worth a visit if you are on holiday in estartit.

Petit bar bien sympathique qui ne paye pas de mine mais avec la vraie ambiance "English Pub*. Le patron et la serveuse sont d'ailleurs tous les deux anglais ainsi que beaucoup de clients. Les prix y sont très raisonnables.

Fighting cock ist die erste Bar die wir besuchen wenn wir mit unseren Choppers angedonnert kommen. Super nette Leute, günstige Preise und immer was los. Wir haben da schon schöne Tage verbracht Dann beim Mexikaner nebenan en Steak reingepfiffen und weiter geht's.

Billigt och enkelt, vilket är skönt ibland. Ingen ordentlig öl, bara ljust. Helt ok vin dock, och väldigt prisvärt. Kunde behöva en ordentlig rengöring.

Very dirty. If you like being eaten alive by mosquitoes then this is the place for you, anywhere in L’Estartit is better. Trust me. The bar lady is very rude. Don’t waste your time in this dump. L’Estartit has so much more on offer.
No volveria. Lugar sucio y la atencion horrible. Solo fuimos a tomar unas bebidas y menos mal. No nos limpiaron la mesa ni nos atendieron.

La peor experiencia, llegamos y estaba toda la mesa sucia, nadie vino a lavarla, pero además tuvimos que ir a pedir la bebida a la barra y traernos nosotros la bebida, servicio fatal, pero lo peor viene cuando le pedimos que limpie la mesa y su respuesta es es clara; darnos la localización de la ballena. En fin 0 contentos. PD: La mesa nunca se lavo y quedaron los restos de otra gente mientras comíamos, era para llorar.
