This is the a great place! The people in there especially Faye are wonderful. We mostly get breakfast there and it is always delicious! They are fast and the food is always done right. If you haven't tried it yet you are missing out on a great place. It is truly a hidden gem.

This restaurant is really a 5 star restaurant. They open at 0600 hours and the food is soo amazing! Prices are very reasonable! My friend Faith works there and told me about it. I've been there 4 times for breakfast! I'm very impressed each time I went! Thank you staff!!

Portions were great, coffee was generous, and the service was pleasant. Honestly, we came in pretty much soaked from December rain, and I was feeling pretty miserable, but this place perked me right up! Would go again.

I am not a local, I’m from down state NY. I was up at the college a few minutes away looking for a place to eat breakfast. I googled it and seen there reviews. I must say they are wrong, this place deserves a 5 star rating. The good was great the service was fantastic. Just a nice little family place to go and eat.

Visited 10/5/2019. It was excellent! Just what we were serching for on our ride home. Mom n pop style resturant with home cooking, down to earth pricing and portions. Service was great and there was a local "regular" patron there who added the perfect local flair and reminded me of my father. It might sound odd, but probably an unforgettable meal for ALL the right reasons!

When I lived nearby, I would go here at least 1-2 times a week. The "VR" offers an exceptionally comfortable small diner feel, fast service, and the waitresses are such lovely ladies that take care of every customer - truly a "home" feel. Even though you can purchase a large breakfast for two for under $20 it doesn't meant the meals are subpar - the food is absolutely delicious and made consistently each and every time - something I know everyone can appreciate!

Nothing better than family restaurants. We love family restaurants especially in little towns. This village restaurant was absolutely delicious. Visited this establishment a year back and I met this guy named Colin who was a steady regular of The Village. The food was excellent, but Colin was even better. If you see this cool cat there, tell him that Jimbo loves him.

We r here every Friday night for fish fry. Girls know us and don't even ask what we want any more. It's "usual"? "Yup". Breakfast is fantastic. Take family there when they r in from out of town.

Hometown feel with excellent food & Service. Place was packed a d did not stop the wait staff from making sure all our needs where met. Another remarkable feature of this place is the prices. What the prices should be on a nice Breakfast. Took my dad out we both had eggs, homefries, sausage, toast and coffee. $20 covered us both and that was with an over 40% tip.... Everything you can love about a small town restaurant. Appreciate the experience and look forward to many more in the future!!!

What can I say? Love love love this place! The food is solid comfort food, great generous portions, and delicious. The staff are super friendly and amazingly efficient. I travel 250 plus days a year all over our country, and the Village restaurant is a rose amongst so many thorns. A gem in an unexpected place. Every morning, 0600, they are open, ready to feed our farmers and the lonely construction guys like me, and they do it with a smile.

Hometown favorite. In fact, this is probably my favorite place to get breakfast in the entire Monroe-Livingston areas. It has that hometown feeling, and the price cannot be beaten. Was stuck waiting in town there while my newly purchased used car was getting serviced, walked up the road and got a late breakfast there, was a stranger in town, but the food/price/service were all wonderful. Would happily return if I'm ever in that town again in the future.

I was here some time in early/mid-August and I just got done driving for about 12 hours. It's got very strong midwest small town vibes. Plenty of pride in Avon. I had the sausage egg and cheese English muffin with hashbrowns and it really hit the spot. If you want a mom and pop diner where they keep the coffee hot and the prices low then this is absolutely the place to go.

We come here EVERY Sunday and the food is always perfect. The staff is very friendly. Prices are incredibly low, and the food portions are great. We feel welcome the moment we step in the door. They’ve been rated the number one breakfast in the county two years in a row now and I’m not sure why it isn’t twenty in a row. I can’t recommend this place enough. Went for lunch with mom. Had a double bacon cheese burger with fries and Mac salad. The burger was so good and so was the Mac salad. And $6.25 . I mean where can you get real food like that for the price.. loved it will go again.. Update 5 years later… pop grabbed the fish fry’s and Frankie still doin the thing ova there… I’ve done this a loooong time… I KNOW FOOD and SO DOES HE and the BOYZ… tip my hat . Excellent food, great service, plenty of customers, good prices, clean, good bathrooms. Hash browns are the best I've ever had. From the outside, it almost looks like it's out of business, except for an Open sign. Atmosphere is austere. But those big windows are kept clean, which isn't easy. I look forward to stopping here when I'm in Avon!

Great, friendly service, including other patrons being friendly! Food has gone home cooked vibe including a wide range of choices for all meals and eaters. The atmosphere is a bit outdated but every corner is clean. This is a great local spot to stop for a hearty meal or light snack while you plan your busy day visiting the rich history of Avon or choosing your one of many local nature attractions. Try to make at the Avon Historian next door to the left. Everytime I visit I enjoy myself and learn a little more from the very engaging Historian!

A good local restaurant we used to pick when traveling with the kids. $7.50 gets you a dozen different dishes fast. Not the healthiest of choices but all 6 of us were full when done. Friendly service too, deserving of a good tip. Nice Village setting too.

Driving through the town of Avon, NY from Buffalo, I came across this gem of a dinner. The food was great, savory, and prompt the service was friendly and it made us feel like we were in somebody’s home down south. So if you are in the mood for some good home cooked food come check them out.

Good food, fast service at fair prices. If you're doing take-out, though, make sure you check that everything is done to order and extras are in the bag. Especially challenging for my experiences in the mornings of late.

Bathroom was absolutely disgusting and waitress took everyone’s orders back to back without taking even one to kitchen, rendering us to wait for others who arrived well after us. Need to train staff to learn how to give first come first serve service!!! ☹️

Food was good BUT service sucks, I guess unless your a regular you don't get the good service as the locals/regulars do. Waitress with blonde hair had a crappy attitude when questioned about coffee refills claimed she was busy, well the other people in there she talked to got a couple refills but she never once came to our table to even check on us or ask if we wanted more coffee and never got the ice water we asked for either

So many great reviews so we decided to try it. Where do I begin? Ordered the fish fry. The coating on the fish tasted burnt. The french fries were so-so. Coleslaw lacked flavor. We sat near where they place the dirty dishes and the one waitress (ours) slammed every dish down adding to the already noisy atmosphere. Even slammed the dishes with our food onto the table. Just slapped the bill down on the table and never asked if we wanted dessert (do they even serve dessert???!!). Not a pleasant experience.
