A magical place, with simple, delicious cuisine. A restaurant immersed in nature with views of the Alpine peaks of Monte Rosà. Aosta Valley cuisine, served in a rustic wood and stone chalet. A simple, welcoming atmosphere, with a terrace and views of glaciers and mountains. A perfect place to enjoy traditional dishes after a hike along the Alpine trails. Reservations are recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Baita Le Solitaire restaurant, located near Champoluc, and I must say it was a truly enjoyable experience. We started with an appetizer of cured meats, all fresh and flavorful. We then chose a menu that included polenta concia, truly delicious, served with stew and sausage. Both dishes were very tasty and well-prepared. The house wine paired perfectly with the meal, and the desserts were the icing on the cake: I highly recommend the pear and chocolate cake and the apple cake, both excellent. The service was prompt, with kind and attentive staff. The agriturismo also offers a splendid view, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend booking if visiting on the weekend, as the area is very busy and finding parking can be a challenge, especially on holidays. Overall, I highly recommend this place for an excellent culinary experience in a charming setting.

A beautiful mountain lodge with a panoramic view, easily accessible thanks to a large parking lot. We had a €20 set lunch menu, featuring a cured meats appetizer with bread and butter. The polenta concia was exceptional and plentiful, with sausage and stew. Very friendly staff.
