Veros is always a pleasure. Juan and the rest of the staff's friendly service is their hallmark. The food... what can I say about the food? I can still taste the flavor of yesterday's garlic soup, the village stew (Olla de Aldea), the broth so thick you could cut it with a knife... The ribeye steak was incredibly flavorful... A delight for the senses. We took some friends for the first time and they were blown away. Generous portions and a price that will surprise you. Warm atmosphere and exceptional surroundings. 10 out of 10.

We loved the place, the food, and the service. The ribeye steak was finger-licking good, and the price is reasonable for the quality of the dishes. If I can offer any constructive criticism, the potatoes with egg dish was a bit short on potatoes; it would be nice if you added a little more. But, by the way, they were delicious; it had been a long time since I'd had such good potatoes in a bar. Potatoes aren't usually the strong point, but the ones here are fantastic. The waiter was very friendly and attentive from the first minute. We left the carrot cake because it's very different from what we're used to ordering, and we didn't like the flavor, but as soon as he realized, he brought us what we wanted: a delicious pan de Calatrava (a type of bread pudding). Thank you; you made part of our Sunday very enjoyable.

Very good service... Everything was delicious... and the service from Ismael (waiter) was spectacular. We always stop by here when we're in Ayna.

We went for breakfast at this traditional restaurant. Really friendly service, fast kitchen and nice atmosphere. The breakfast was really tasty. On top of that, the price level was reasonable. Lot's of locals and that's always good thing. I recommend the place to everyone who is staying nearby.

An incredible restaurant, with quality service, excellent service, and dishes that remind me of authentic home-cooked food when I was a kid. The service and staff are wonderful. A 10-star restaurant.

Very Manchego restaurant. Lovely service too! Lamb on firewood was exceptional. Portions are big and well balanced. We need to return to Ayna to visit the cave, this will be our choice again!

A cozy, quiet place with traditional decor (an old esparto grass factory). The food is fantastic, generous portions, and absolutely delicious. We tried the fried cheese (the best we've ever had), migas (fried breadcrumbs), huevos rotos (broken eggs), and lomo de orza (cured pork loin). For dessert, we ordered a cheesecake—don't hesitate to order it, it's spectacular! The service from Juan and Martín was excellent; they were incredibly attentive and friendly. A must-visit, highly recommended!

Highly recommended restaurant! ✨ We booked a table here while visiting Ayna and absolutely loved everything. It was the best place we ate in the area. We ordered fried cheese to share (four of us), gazpacho and moje as starters, and beef cheek, sirloin steak, and lamb as main courses. For dessert, we had torrijas (Spanish-style French toast), chocolate fondant, and cheesecake. It was delicious! The service was quick and very friendly. Thank you for taking such good care of us. Best wishes from the Amores family! ❤️

Wonderful. We were looking for a place to eat with our two dogs, and they put us on a lovely terrace. We had a delicious tomato salad, grilled ribs, and a delicious honey-baked pork cheek. The rice pudding and French toast were to die for. Very good service.

Great food, great service, friendly helpful staff. Happy locals who make you feel at home. The main of lamb 🐑 was 1/2 a lamb. Free local spirt at the end. A must place to eat if want to enjoy local food. Let the waiter choose for you ....enjoy.

A very positive experience. The restaurant is right at the entrance (or exit, depending on where you're coming from, too). It's a large restaurant inside. It was a cold day, and the heater was nice; it was very warm. I went on a Thursday and it was quiet. We didn't eat from the menu; we ordered whatever we wanted without looking at the menu. We started with a salad and ate "atascaburras," which was very good; I'd never tried it before, with a very mild flavor and everything well-ground. For the kids, we had breaded steaks with fries. And for my husband and I, we had grilled chicken breasts with vegetables. For dessert, we had homemade Calatrava bread, which was delicious. The waiter Juan was very attentive and very friendly. The place was very cozy. The prices were good, not too expensive. I definitely recommend it.

Very local place and probably the only restaurant in the area without a view 😁 Clearly a haunt for the locals in a unique building with a cheap dish of the day and fine service

We went on a very quiet day when there were hardly any people, and it was a great choice. Excellent service and good food. We had a tomato as a starter, and then each of us ordered a meat dish (sirloin and beef cheek). Of the two, I preferred the beef cheek. For dessert, we shared a chocolate fondant and two lattes.

Terrible service; the waiter intruded on our conversations, asking inappropriate questions. He also took our plates away while we were still eating and drinking; we had to snatch our beers from him, forcing us to leave. The food was also awful. The only positive thing was the portion size.

We were staying at the hotel across from La Toba. We had made a reservation for lunch that day, but we went for breakfast beforehand. The waiter was unpleasant and provided very poor service. We ordered two pieces of toast and two coffees, which, by the way, were some of the worst coffee I've ever had. They charged us 10 euros, and without a ticket. It seemed like an outrageous price. I don't know if it's because I'm a tourist, but if I lived here and they charged me that much for coffee... luckily we found other bars in town, and of course I canceled our lunch reservation. They take advantage of its location, but there are more restaurants in this charming town.
