Kristos Coffee Azusa Reviews
Good atmosphere, good matcha and tea, lots of seating, and people working here are all really nice. The space is really clean as well. Dogs allowed which is awesome, and there is a small patio for sitting outside. Really great place to work, hang out, or get a drink to go.
What a great place for relaxation "me" time with free wifi or just even meet up with friends and grab a small breakfast or lunch bite. Indoor or outdoor seating available. So full of surprises...never know who you might see or meet...and what a pleasure it was!!! Here is awesome place to host gatherings or live entertainment. The displays are from all over and quite a collection.. Feel the warmth and hospitality here. The owners are so friendly. Parking in rear or on street, Wheelchair accessible. AZUSA please give this 6 months old cafe a try. Thanks!!!
I have been to and reviewed many coffee shops across many states and countries over the course of many years. I have to say that pressed + flower ranks as my favorite coffee shop as it is one that has put full attention to the quality of coffee, atmosphere and service. This place is designed with the goal of maximizing the consumer experience. Every design detail complements the vibe of providing a homey feel while you are enjoying a nice cup of coffee. Food and pastries are served to you on nice wooden plates, as if you are eating at a friend’s place. There is ample seating, with your choice to sit inside or outside (front and back!). There are board games, comfortable seats, and even live music that is played occasionally. The staff are incredibly friendly, with impeccable service. This is truly a unique coffee shop and will be very hard to find anywhere else. If you are a student at Azusa you are incredibly lucky, as I would be going here on a daily basis if I were a student. Food/coffee - 20/20 Atmosphere - 10/10 Service - 10/10 Total - 40/40, a perfect score.
Nice big coffee shop. Pretty good place to get a few hours of work done. They have WiFi and lots of seating. If you’re wanting to use an outlet they only have one table available up front with one. The others in the back by the restrooms. Coffee was good. They have some sandwiches. But when they heated it, it wasn’t thorough and was still partially cold. I’d still come back sometime
This place is amazing! If I could give it ten stars I would! Whoever gave less than 5 must have been having a bad day per other reasons. The folks that work here are so nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is quiet and the food and drinks are really good. Great place to have lunch or a snack and work if you are out in the field all day like me. This will be my new go to when I need to stop and connect to WiFi. Thank you all for the great experience.
This is such a cute spot for coffee and pastries. The batista was very kind and helpful when ordering my drink and suggestions for pastry pairing. The coffee shop is comfortable with plenty of seats. There is WiFi if you need to get any work done while enjoying their coffee. There are plenty of street parking within walking distance.
The matcha is phenomenal, and so is the atmosphere. This feels like a great place to come for studying (or on a first date) The vibes are immaculate. There’s small plants everywhere (some for purchase) and a plethora of party games for hang out sessions. They also have a TON of options for the none coffee drinkers in your life. Like a ridiculous variety of cold drinks and snacks you don’t usually see, and the familiar ones too. It seems like they’re trying to incorporate local businesses which I love. They even donate coffee grounds (so if you’re into Gardening/composting it’s worth it to stop by just for that) Small Macaroons for .75 which were decently fresh? Wasn’t expecting that. Got the Lavender Bee this time around, I usually don’t like floral drinks, but this one totally worked for me. I wanna try it iced next time. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to review more of the menu!
A cozy farmhouse interior design style coffee shop at downtown Azusa. Ample seating for small groups to hangout and drink their coffee. Light upbeat music playing in the background and kid friendly area. The staff is friendly and fast with their service. I ordered the Red Velvet Latte which was smooth, rich, creamy, and not too sweet. I loved the foam art design.
This charming coffee shop is located in downtown Azusa. I love checking out coffee shops so this was a perfect spot since I was in the area. The decor is beautiful! It is very clean and the ambience reminds me of being in a library, so quiet and mellow. The space is huge for a coffee shop. The barista was very nice and helpful with the menu choices. I decided to order the honey cinnamon latte and a pistachio croissant and both were very tasty! I'll for sure be coming back when I'm in the area!
Found this little gem this morning on the way to Costco. This is probably one of the most detailed coffee house I’ve ever seen. Every corner of the coffee shop is littered with small pieces of decor and are thoughtfully arranged. There are even bookshelves of books that you can read or take away or bring in. The coffees are very good but the danish pastry was a bit too soggy for my taste. Overall a place that I would definitely recommend and visit again.
**Warning: This place is dangerously addictive and may cause spontaneous apartment hunting in the area.** I walked into Pressed + Flower expecting a quick caffeine fix and instead found my new life goal: figuring out how to legally move into a coffee shop. The vibe here is so impossibly cozy that I’m convinced they’ve somehow managed to bottle the essence of teddy bear and sprinkle it into the air conditioning system. Steffi, the barista, is an absolute gem who somehow manages to be both professionally skilled and genuinely delightful – a rare combination that should probably be studied by Gen Z-ers. She crafted my matcha with the kind of care usually reserved for newborn babies or priceless artifacts, and honestly, the end result tasted like liquid happiness had been whisked into submission. The matcha itself? It was so good that I considered asking if they offered a matcha IV drip service for ultimate efficiency. Rich, creamy, with that perfect balance that makes you question why you ever settled for gas station coffee in the first place. But here’s the real kicker – the atmosphere is so uniquely cozy that I found myself unconsciously researching local real estate prices. The space has this magical quality where you want to bring a book, your laptop, your entire life’s belongings, and maybe a sleeping bag just in case. It’s like if a Pinterest board and a warm hug had a baby, and that baby grew up to become a coffee shop. Fair warning: You might find yourself becoming one of those people who “has a spot” and gets genuinely territorial about your favorite corner table. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Will definitely be back (probably tomorrow after Apartment hunting if I’m being honest). Highly recommended for: Coffee lovers, matcha enthusiasts, anyone seeking their new spiritual home, people who enjoy being pampered by lovely baristas, and humans who appreciate spaces that feel like warm hugs.
Good menu of coffee and matcha drinks, great quality beans. Tried the espresso tonic, THE go-to summer drink. The service was a bit slow even though there were just 3 customers in the cafe. Plenty of seats, calming decor. Some cute arts n crafts for sale like postcards and planters.
My favorite coffee shop! Plenty of seating, super cozy. The boutique section is really cute too! Loved the sticky note wall too, it was really sweet. The baristas are always super nice and bring your drink out to you! This cost me $10 flat, muffin and a matcha, awesome price. I stayed to read a book and had a wonderful time.
My husband and I fell in love with this coffee shop and is now our number 1 place to go for coffee. Great service. Clean environment. Delicious drinks, pastries and food.
Super cute Coffee/tea/boba shop! Great place to come and hangout with fun games and an amazing vibe. Plants and cute items for purchase too. Great food for both a small breakfast or lunch!! Can't wait to show more people it and can't wait for their official opening on July 7th!
The coffee and matcha pastry was really good I’m planning to come back here when I go back to Los Angeles. The barista was friendly and the coffee was amazing. The shop also looked nice. Very aesthetically pleasing decoration and merchandise.
DAMNNNN! This is literally the cutest place ever, not to mention their drinks are OFF THE HOOK. I rarely feel the need to sit down and write a review right away, but this place is definitely deserving!!!! Sooo yummy and the flower theme drinks are just toooo good. They have amazing delicious food - I got the quiche, and a nice cooler with yummy unique healthy drinks and snacks! I’m so impressed with this place!!!
Best coffee/latte/tea in town! Super beautiful inside with so much character. Must come visit if you live here or you are passing by Azusa.
Great experience and best matcha latte I've ever had. they use real ceremonial grade matcha .
- Love their chai drink! Cinnamon taste supremacy - The place has nice natural lighting and interior design - Additionally, there are also merch/art being sold inside the cafe
I was there when it opened, and it's always been a great atmosphere. The staff is always friendly. It's a great place to chill and relax.
I absolutely loved the place feels very homie! I got a matcha lavender and a bagel. Very delicious.
Really beautiful set up and nice decor. Really a great place to be and relax.
Great coffee shop when visiting San Gabriel Mountains and the Rock Pools. We had a quiche and a chai tea latte, we thought it was excellent, charming atmosphere inside. Games to play and books to read, unique atmosphere.
The Sandwich in here inspires a type of hustle in me to achieve more, to bring family and friends. The leverage I get and the cheat code it is to bring someone here is a easily productized package of pleasure taken seriously , good books , a guitar missing a string , a dedicated wall of plants and other proclivities its pleasure taken seriously. Its customer in mind thinking that you can buy and curate but takes real heart to maintain. Very few things like books being under the pottery don’t make all that much sense to me. I’d like to see them and ask if they’re for sale. Cute coffee spot with good charm and GREAT baristas. Plus Yoga on Sundays.
Wow great spot, enjoyed their turkey and brie sandwich on ciabatta!
Cheap morning brew, bomb sandwiches to go, nice baked goods, friendly service. The bathroom is really nice. They have cute vintage postcards, plants, and home goods for sale.
During a recent Southern California stint, P+F became one of my regular stops. Not only is the staff super-friendly and the drinks delish, but the pop-ups are also very cool. I walked out with a few more plants that I didn't need but are brining joy to my home. The space itself is spacious with plenty of seating, so it is a great working space. Parking is not too bad and the hours are decent.
Very impressed with their menu selection and the taste of EVERYTHING. Recommend the Lavender Bee, Gruyère cheese and pink peppercorn scone, everything bagel with garlic and scallion cream cheese, and mushroom quiche. Also, excellent customer service and super nice staff! The perfect coffee shop and I cannot wait to see it grow!
AMAZING coffee. You can tell it’s fresh coffee and the specialties are so delicious. The barista was so kind, she personally delivered the coffees to us across the cafe! Would def come again!
This place is the best...im a home owner here in azusa for the last 13 years...and this place since it opened has the best coffee and treats in the SGV...and Laura the owner is down to earth and very kind and runs a great coffee shop...10 fingers up
I love supporting local coffee shops so I was so happy that I received a recommendation from someone who lives in Azusa and regularly visits Pressed and Flower. This is definitely the best local coffee shop that I’ve been to, anywhere in and around the area. They have great seasonal drinks, like the brown sugar latte… amazing! The staff is great and the owner, Laura, is amazing as well. One visit here and you’ll be reminded of why we have to keep places like this alive versus going to Starbucks!
SUPER friendly staff! Makes it for me. Lots of work spaces. Good WiFi. Great coffee. Thanks!
Greeted upon walking in and very accommodating. Lovely vibe and staff!
Quaint, charming, fun & unique retail offerings. Staff super friendly and very attentive even through a rush. So much so that no one minded the wait: so worth it. Chocolate covered Cherry latte: too daggum good. Likewise for the apple Danish💃 Very popular place and the reason is clear. The best!
Just wandered in while exploring Azusa. Excellent quality of drinks with a decent food menu. The decor is excellent, and they even have books and games, in addition to a wide variety of merchandise. Definitely the best coffee shop I have been to in a long time.
Had a delicious pastry and an iced mocha. Chatted with Laura the owner. What a really nice gal. Very warm and hospitable. The shop is beautiful inside. There is even outdoor seating in both the front and out back. I will definitely return. I wish them much success. We need nice businesses like this in Azusa.
This coffee shop is adorable! So thoughtful in it's layout and all that's packed in it. Chai was wonderful, definitely coming back. Baked goods looked delicious, will have to try some next time. Was constantly pleasantly surprised by every wall, and around every corner.
Love this coffee shop!! The coffee is full of flavor. The staff is ever sooo friendly even other patrons are as well. You get a sense of community here. Love to see the walls with all the cool stuff to buy. I really enjoy taking friends and family to this little gem.
Checked out this cute little coffee shop to get some work done. They had good coffee options and food. I tried a specialty coffee of theirs and didn't love it but that is on me because it was a just bit strong for my taste. The inside was cute with a ton of seating and shop stuff for sale. I wish more seating had outlets but they had board games and stuff too. Cute vibe.
If you blink, you might miss this little hidden gem. I swear, I had never seen it before and drive up and down this street a lot. Last night, luckily, it all changed. Our Running Club met up here; after clocking in some miles and stopped by this idyllic coffee N’ Tea shop. A friendly person behind the counter. A nice little menu of coffees, teas and sweet treats. Super clean place! (It matters) Plenty of space to sit inside and along a wall full of little “things” to buy and gift. Every drink was prepared to order. A wall dedicated to “Notes” with positive vibes and a corner to take nice pictures. First time and definitely not my last. Happy February everyone!
I was looking for a new spot to meet with my manager since we work remotely and came across this cute coffee shop in Azusa. I found street parking nearby, which was convenient. I started with a matcha latte, which was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan of the muffin, which was disappointing since I usually love muffins. I ended the workday with a Vietnamese coffee, and it was perfect. The shop also has a section with handmade items for sale, which adds a nice local touch.
Variety of hot and cold drinks and offers cute merchandise from independent sellers. Staying true to promoting a sustainable lifestyle.
I rarely leave low ratings. I understand running a business is tough. But waiting over 20 minutes for a basic oat milk latte, then seeing the customer after me get theirs first, was frustrating. Orders were handed out one by one without calling names or numbers, even for to-go. The staff asked if I wanted oat milk, and when handing me the drink, said “oat milk,” but it was clearly made with whole milk. The floor also looked dirty at 10am on a Sunday, like it hadn’t been swept. The overall carelessness is what pushed me to write this.
Came there for their matcha, I had came here before and the matcha was pretty good and decent. But upon coming here today and orderng the exact same thing i had ordered before, it was awfully disappointing. they changed the matcha quality and it just taste like grainy sand, which was confusing. Althought their decor and staff are friendly, I would not recommend coming back to this place, as I myself will not be coming back. There is parking on the street but otherwise no parking.
MOLDY FOOD - Health Hazard Went in for breakfast. We got 2 coffees and 2 pastries. Coffee was great, especially the mocha. The cheese cream danish was rock-hard, stale, and cold when we asked for it warmed up. I took a bite before finding the molded area and threw up later that day with a stomach cramp. Service was okay, but cafe/management failed to serve safe, edible food.
