Taqueria La Chaparita

Food was pretty amazing, prices were outstanding, the ladies were very kind even though English isn’t our first language. We were visiting from another state and were VERY happy. Would go back many times. Had fish tacos, steak nachos, and street corn.

Good food and the cook went out of his way to make sure we had a good meal.

Great tacos for great prices, highly recommend the pastor, beef fajita and tripas tacos, the charro beans are great as well, haven’t tried much of anything else off the menu but I plan too

I’ve had tacos from Galveston to Houston and in my opinion this place has the best food. Found this place by accident because the food truck down the street that I usually go to was closed. Me and my wife talk about their food days after eating it because it’s so good and fresh and prices are absolutely reasonable! They have a very extensive menu as well. Best nachos I’ve had!

I’ve hit 4 others, but this is THE one for me❣️ They cater to REAL people, by having reasonable prices, for hygienic, delicious, hot food, served with a smile. And, they’ll indulge you practicing your Español skills❣️I’m going back 2nite, for the fried chicken plate, for $10, plus the fresh avocado slices that my brain craves, lol. Yum😋

I go to this little shop multiple times a week. I’m never disappointed, the food is always consistent and delicious. The woman behind the window is fantastic and very kind, the prices are reasonable, the tables are always clean, the food is always hot and fresh. 10/10 recommend!

Didn't quite understand that both stands are definitely different. I did try the tacos for breakfast, but then realized that you can pick anything from both. It was good. It's just hard to understand and communicate. Prices are high and are not posted. So 2 drinks and 5 tacos came out to be $ 22.00. I'll try other things, but for now. I'll have to try out some other stand down the road.

I do not recommend it (unless you want to wait forever for your order). This has been the second time I ordered by phone. The first time I waited up to 1 hour for about 8 birria tacos. Now I came back. I ordered by phone. I thought they had improved the service because they had moved to a new location. But they haven't. When I ordered, the person who picked up the phone told me it would take 15 minutes. I arrived and they told me to wait 5 minutes. When I saw that I was approaching 15 minutes, I no longer took their order. They called me about a half hour later and told me that the order was ready. I was already eating somewhere else!!
