Venero Badajoz Reviews
Una de las mejores tostadas de jamón ibérico con tomate que he desayunado (a súper buen precio!) Buena terraza y camareros atentos.
El personal trabaja muy rápido. Grandes desayunos extremeños. Un lugar de referencia en Badajoz. Siempre que paso por Badajoz, repito.
No conoces Badajoz si no te has comido unas migas en El Venero. Sea la hora que sea, pero mejor madrugar para disfrutar el verdadero ambiente. ¡Un histórico!
Excellent service, friendly and super fast. Delicious breakfast at a great price. It's worth going off the road a bit to stop by for lunch or breakfast here.
What a great place for breakfast, and such nice people! I asked for a café con leche and some advice on what to eat, since I'm on vacation and don't know much about the local cuisine. They served me some delicious migas (breadcrumbs) to try, and a cachuela (a very tasty toast, by the way). The service was very pleasant. The friendly atmosphere of the people coming and going was palpable.
A very busy cafe that opens very early, in the early morning, but closes at noon, so it only serves breakfast. Although, the way they treat you to the moyetes, I swear you'll want another one. It has a small dining room inside, around the bar, and a larger outdoor terrace. You'll be served by a chain of professionals who make sure the breakfast arrives almost before you sit down. Of course, depending on what time you go, you might be luckier to have breakfast at a table or at the bar. Still, it's worth starting the day with a good breakfast like these. They have a great variety, with the unique feature that the toast comes pre-cut and already paired with whatever you order. And that's all I'll tell you because I have to go. Next time I'm nearby, I'll go there.
I went in the very rush hour when the carnival parade was taking place and I was feeling so hungry and decided to have something. Such nice people attending the place! Perhaps I'll be back to have some meals in the future. I for sure recommend it
A great bar for an early breakfast in Badajoz. The waiters are super professional, attentive to everything you need at all times. The toast with ham is incredible, very generously sized and with good ham. Another day we tried the migas (the house specialty) and they were spectacular. 10/10!
We came to try the toast from the breakfast competition, which consists of salmorejo, ham, cured cheese, and paprika. Delicious. It was warm, with the cheese melted, and had a spectacular flavor. You could taste the hint of garlic in the salmorejo, and it's, without a doubt, the best I've tried from the competition. Also, the toast with coffee, €2.60. A very good price compared to other toasts from the competition. The waiter was very friendly and professional. We'll definitely be back, whether there's a competition or not. With these toasts, Badajoz's reputation as the Breakfast Capital of Spain should be strengthened. #BadajozBreakfastCapital
The only place I know in Badajoz that's Open at 5am.

A notable bar for cheap and hearty breakfasts. I'd recommend migas (breadcrumbs) or tostadas (fried bread) with hot chocolate, colacao, coffee, or fresh orange juice. Depending on the time and day, it may take a few minutes to be served. A wide variety of toasts on well-toasted bread. Fast and reliable service. I'd definitely go back for the opening hours, price, and speed. Recommended.
Buah si quieres comer unas buenas migas extremeñas sin lugar a dudas es uno de los sitios donde tienes que ir además de sus riquísimas buenas y grandes tostadas por un precio super económico.
He pedido hoy unas migas, y la verdad, no eran buenas.
He served me toast with sunflower oil and charged me €7 for one slice and one orange juice (not fresh, and also bad). I can't give it a 0. Reasons: It's changed owners and it's changed completely. The guy seemed "unhealthy," to put it mildly. I'm sorry when he reads this, but I hope it makes him realize how he's doing things. It's a shame; it used to be the best in town, or at least one of the best. Now I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
I ordered a coffee with milk and some migas. The coffee was just okay, it tasted weak, but the migas were inedible. They were clumpy, tasteless, and there wasn't a single clove of garlic—literally four skins. There wasn't even a piece of pepper. I had to leave them. It was like eating soggy bread and rolling it into balls with my fingers. I won't be back. They have a lot of hype about their migas, but they were inedible. And all for €2.80. Quality/price ratio: 2 out of 10.
