I came in last night and had the nicest, most attentive server, her name was Destini. Sue was very welcome and we never had to ask for a refill or anything else, our burgers we’re cooked to perfection, we highly recommend this place. We are not from the area but will definitely be back and will definitely ask for Destini again, she was excellent at her job!!

Burgers Came Out Good and tasty a little on the pricey side but overall very great and the manger on shift does amazing with table service unlike McDonald's there table service is pointless if no one comes but seeing how fast this manger moves makes me smile such a great worker(Haley

I used to think of Farmer Boys as a competitor to Denny's. Now it is more like a Carl's. Go to counter, place order, go to table and they bring the food to you. Great food. Each order individually cooked. Nice service.

The burgers were great!!! Burgers were juicy and simple. The onion rings are huge and only come in 4 pc. There zucchini sticks come as a whole cut into a lengthy way (4 pieces)

This is a brand new location. My drive thru customer service experience is a 10/10. Burgers have the same great taste as other LA locations. If your looking for super fast drive thru experience go to McDonald's, but if you don't mind a fresh made to order burger, this is your spot.

I do like this particular location, and admittedly, I haven't visited many other locations, but I've always had great service and great quality food from here. Menu options are decent, and I've never had a bad meal from here. All-in-all, a great experience!

“Great Bacon Burger, Massive Zucchini Sticks, and Super Fast/Friendly Service!” We stopped at the Farmer Boys in Bakersfield on the way to the airport today, and it turned out to be a really good meal. I usually stop at the Panda , Mcdonalds,Subway or Burger King. The Bacon Boy cheeseburger hit the spot—great flavor, fresh toppings, and that classic Farmer Boys taste. I just wish the patties were a bit thicker, I cant see how this is a 1/2 pound burger but honestly, everything still came together perfectly. The zucchini sticks were massive—crispy, golden, but lacking flavor, the 2 ranch cups did a great job giving it flavor.. Easily one of the highlights of the meal for all of us as they were too massive not to share.. The family loved their burgers including the kids cheeseburger and the veggie burger. four adults and two kids, the price was ok , right in line with other family spots around town but still around $80. The service was great, The young woman Hali at the counter was super friendly and helpful with our order, and our food runner was just as sweet—she made sure everything came out hot and fresh off the grill. This spot gets four‑star ratings all around. The country decor addas to the experience. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re by the Bakersfield airport. It's not a 5 star experience but its definitely better than everything else in on both sides of the street.

Went through the drive thru today around noon. Ruby took my order, I asked for a double cheese burger combo with no veggies. A bacon big box also no veggies. As well as a few other items. She proceeded to say the bacon big boy box which I corrected her that I didn’t want that one. She said ok. All while she was in a hurry, which I know they're busy at the time but she could be a little more patient and actually take the order correctly. Came home to two combos one totally wrong of course and both plain with no veggies which was correct but also no SAUCE which wasn’t correct. Ruby needs to be more patient and thorough when taking orders, especially when I paid $50 for lunch!

came to order at farmers boy for the first time. since i seen an advertisement on tv that there was a new location close to home. Was having a good day until i came to order tru the drive tru and the worker was having a snotty, rude, unprofessional attitude. she was upset or wasn't happy to be working. I was trying to ask for more information on other variety of food and ask if there were any specials. Since it was my first time there, i wanted to know what she would recommend. Instead, she had an attitude and ignored me. Like if she was annoyed of working or taking customer's order. worker name is shonee, not sure if i spelled it correctly but i don't know Why Shes working there making the company look bad. The food was great. Cooks know what they are doing, the food was great no complains. But customer service was horrible. Worker needs to work on her attitude and learn how to improve her customer services skills.

This place has a bomb breakfast sandwich but they need more on the menu for the type of food. It is a franchise so those changes don't come easy. Try it out American menu only from what I seen.

Went here with coworker for lunch, had alot of confusion with making our order. Took several attempts to get it right, by the time the order was corrected all the rest of our food was cold. Hopefully they get the ordering issues fixed soon. The food was decent but very expensive for what you get.

$19+ for a chicken sandwich (with almost no chicken and old tasting other stuff), fries and a drink I would have expected this to be wonderful but I honestly would t eat here again if the price was 1/3 of the current offering. I had a fish and chicken sandwich and both were overcooked dried out. Both patties were very hard.

Start with the good. The dining room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the food was not good. The burger was overcooked, and everything except the fries (burger, chicken sandwich, and onion rings) was just bland. Service was very slow, one of the orders was wrong and we had to ask for it to be corrected (which they did graciously!). On top of all of this, it's expensive. Basic burger is just over $7, and they go up from there (just a burger). Make it a combo, another $7. Sides were in the $6 range a la carte. My side of onion rings was four onion rings, and they were flavorless and oily. It was just over $20 for a basic burger combo with onion rings. Price wise this compares to Five Guys, maybe worse, but at least Five Guys tastes good.

Went in, ordered. Cashier didn't know how to do it so she asked somebody else. I lost 100 points that took me months to save up. Then got a discount for $2.50 and rushed a long my way. Discount was supposed to be $10. They don't care, next. We tried. Kind of. It's a brand new location. Manager / Gm was nice when I called offered me replacement food. But how hard is it to train employees? They should be able to do do basic functions of their job right?

I did a mobile order with their app and they wouldn't let me just pick it up through the drive thru. They literally made me back out of the drive thru and come in to just grab a bag. I never do reviews, but this was ridiculous!

My food zucchini sticks were soggy i lifted them of the bag and they just fell thorough the chicken stripes were not crunchy the onions rings were soggy and the hamberger was dry and the chicken sandwich was was just 2 buns and chicken no sauce very disappointing was our first time eating there almost $70 wasted

Let me start off by saying the food was great customer service not so great. Best burgers and onion rings in town. I was very bothered by what I witnessed in the farmer boys parking lot one of there employees which I believe was a cook a Caucasian female in a white truck was smoking weed pen in her truck I was very upset when I seen this. I recorded the employee and took a screen shot of her name tag which read kellsie, that was the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen and when I called the restaurant to report I was told the manager was to busy to get on the phone if I could call back later. I thought about posting the recording on social media .

Very disappointed. Ordered a hamburger no onion, no pickles. Received a cheeseburger loaded with onion. Burger was burnt around the edges, fries were so salty. 4 onion rings for $6.99 !!! They were bland, NOT crunchy. Seriously need to ease up in the salt. We ordered inside, but ordered our food to go. Nothing worse than spending $45 on food that was not as ordered and not good.

Went through the drive through ordered chicken sandwich, two hamburgers and 4 pcs zucchini one was a meal deal came out to $56. Waited about 20 minutes got order and the fries were cold. Told cashier I wanted hot fries all she said was pull around to the front. About 10 minutes later she came out with what we thought was fresh fries, but only the first few was hot and the rest were colder than the first order. By the time we got home the rest of the order was cold. I bit into my burger and it was red in the middle (raw) had to reheat my entire order. This was by far the worst food I have ever had. So disappointed I want my money back.

My family got all our meals 20 minutes before my fiancé. They then asked what he ordered, he told them. They proceeded to bring the wrong burger. We let them know 10 mins later they bring the correct burger missing a patty, we again let them know. And they say yes they owe us a patty. 15 mins later still no food. At this point we just asked for a refund of his food he didn’t get to eat and we were all finished at this point.

This place needs to get shut down!! Mostly because the night manager is so nasty picking his nose and then touching the food 🤮 one of the employees said he even touches the lemonades with his bare hands

I've been to other locations and the food and service is great. I have great memories eating at Farmers Boys. But this time I was really disappointed, as I couldn't eat my food at this location. It seems like the fries were bathed in salt, so I couldn't eat them. I was hoping it was just the fries, but when I went to bite my avocado chicken sourdough sandwich I was anticipating so much, it again tasted too salty. I was trying to find out where it was coming from, and it was the bread- when they fried it with butter, it tasted way to salty. I spent $20 on my meal but I couldn't eat my food. I'll be going to Farmers Boys at other locations, but I'm not expecting to come back to this location any time soon.

Decent food but horrible service. ONLY USE CASH/DO NOT USE ANY ELECTRONIC PAYMENT. I ordered food on Monday and was told by the cashier (Lily) that the transaction did not go through. After checking our bank statements we discovered we were charged twice for the same order. We asked her to cancel the first transaction or refund us to which she responded that she was unable to do anything about it. She mentioned this issue has happend in the past with other customers and there is nothing her nor her manager could do about it. No alternatives were given to us besides leaving our name and number for her to pass along to the District Manager. Lily stated we could come back in around 2 days if the transaction was not canceled or if we did not receive a phone call from the District manager. Wednesday afternoon we never received a phone call and we went back (in person) to the store to figure out an alternative. The manager at the time (white male adult - heavier set) told us there is nothing he could do about it. When I asked for a corporate office phone number or a number directly to the District Manager he advised he did not have either number to provide to us. After insisting for a number to contact a supervisor he instead provided us with a toll free information number. This is unacceptable conduct for a business to be aware of an issue where they are blatantly stealing from customers and then telling them there is nothing they can do to resolve the issue. I am reporting this franchise store to the Better Business Bureau & filing an official claim.

Even reporting it to corporate really no resolution. I would avoid this place and advise you to patronize other businesses this one's an absolute scam

I've been to other locations and the food and service is great. I have great memories eating at Farmers Boys. But this time I was really disappointed, as I couldn't eat my food at this location. It seems like the fries were bathed in salt, so I couldn't eat them. I was hoping it was just the fries, but when I went to bite my avocado chicken sourdough sandwich I was anticipating so much, it again tasted too salty. I was trying to find out where it was coming from, and it was the bread- when they fried it with butter, it tasted way to salty. I spent $20 on my meal but I couldn't eat my food. I'll be going to Farmers Boys at other locations, but I'm not expecting to come back to this location any time soon.

Decent food but horrible service. ONLY USE CASH/DO NOT USE ANY ELECTRONIC PAYMENT. I ordered food on Monday and was told by the cashier (Lily) that the transaction did not go through. After checking our bank statements we discovered we were charged twice for the same order. We asked her to cancel the first transaction or refund us to which she responded that she was unable to do anything about it. She mentioned this issue has happend in the past with other customers and there is nothing her nor her manager could do about it. No alternatives were given to us besides leaving our name and number for her to pass along to the District Manager. Lily stated we could come back in around 2 days if the transaction was not canceled or if we did not receive a phone call from the District manager. Wednesday afternoon we never received a phone call and we went back (in person) to the store to figure out an alternative. The manager at the time (white male adult - heavier set) told us there is nothing he could do about it. When I asked for a corporate office phone number or a number directly to the District Manager he advised he did not have either number to provide to us. After insisting for a number to contact a supervisor he instead provided us with a toll free information number. This is unacceptable conduct for a business to be aware of an issue where they are blatantly stealing from customers and then telling them there is nothing they can do to resolve the issue. I am reporting this franchise store to the Better Business Bureau & filing an official claim.
