Mejoraría la acústica del ruido y la comodidad de las sillas. El servicio fue excelente, al menos el de nuestro camarero. La tortilla espectacular así como otros platos. Los postres de lo mejorcito.

Fuimos a cenar fantástico con mis amigos. Pedí varios de los platos y ninguno falló, sino que eran producto de calidad, y también los postres. Y lo más impresionante es la decoración del local, del siglo XIX. ¡Felicidades!

Un lugar con comida increible, fui con amigos y todos disfrutamos mucho, todo estuvo excelente pero mención especial a las berenjenas, la tortilla trufada y las vieiras. La selección de vinos también excelente y el ambiente lindo, relajado y acogedor. Recomendado totalmente

Fuimos por la tortilla con trufa, volveremos por la berenjena, los hongos con ajo, y el pastel de queso. Muy bueno todo, excelentes opciones veggie friendly

Sorprendente acierto! Ya desde fuera apetece entrar y da la sensación que será una trampa para guiris. Pero nos sorprendió para bien! Buenos tapas y buen ambiente! Los precios son moderados, no exagerados. Nos pedimos: el canelon de pularda, mejillones con salsa de coco, y el ajoblanco con melon y berberechos. Todos los platos genial! El servicio tambien genial, rapidos y atentos. Volveremos! Ahora sí, mejor reservar porque era jueves pronto y estaba lleno casi.

Fuimos a cenar 4 personas y nos gustó bastante a todos. Especialmente la tortilla y el bikini trufado. Los camareros son muy atentos y amables. Pedimos una ensaladilla rusa, el bikini, tortilla, pan con tomate y berenjena y de postre el chocolate con pan. Junto con las bebidas salimos a 17€. El precio me parece normal, en mi ciudad rondan los mismos precios.

La comida estaba buenísima, todo muy bien preparado y con mucho sabor. Se nota que cuidan los detalles y la calidad de los platos. Además, el ambiente es súper agradable y el trato muy cercano, te hacen sentir como en casa. Y lo mejor… ¡el precio increíble! Calidad–precio de 10. Sin duda repetiré y lo recomiendo muchísimo si queréis cenar rico sin gastar demasiado.

El nombre lo decía todo: "Alegría". Y así fue. Tras caer otro plan, llegamos aquí por recomendación de mi mejor amiga que posee la mejor agenda de lugares en Barcelona y fue un acierto total. Comimos de maravilla. ¡Fue el mediodía de cambio de año perfecto! Doy gracias a ese giro del destino. 100% recomendable para una celebración especial.

I’ve been here a a few times and took my wife this evening. She loved it as I do. The menu if fantastic, we had the tortilla trufada, the calamarcitos and ensaladilla rusa and all were amazing. I’ve been at quiet times and busy times my suggestion is if you are going in the evenings especially Friday and Sunday to get there early. The decor is old style Spanish chic and has a charm that’s pleasing on the eye. Great and attentive staff who also took time to play with my baby son. I love this place and the food. The menu is an eclectic mix of traditional dishes with a twist that you’ll like!

Had a really lovely dinner at Bar Alegria. Make sure to make a reservation because they are almost always packed! The atmosphere is very quaint. We enjoyed sitting upstairs and being perched over everyone. From what I have heard, the menu is constantly changing so there is no guarantee you will find the same items each time you go in. This being said, everything we ordered was delicious so I don’t think you can go wrong! Lucas was our server, and he did an excellent job of taking care of us. Prices might be considered on the pricier end. (We thought they were reasonable, but we are from NYC so take this with a grain of salt.)

Delicious tapas, great cocktails. Gorgeous little restaurant with immaculate Friday night vibes. Menu is frequently updated. We loved the tomato bread with the Jamón Ibérico de Bellota!! I’d recommend a booking in advance (we walked in and started in the standing room, then luckily got seated).

I visited Bar Alegria the first night of my stay in Barcelona and wasn’t disappointed! It’s been hard for me & my travel partner to stay away as the food is so delicious, authentic with a modern twist! The value for money is amazing and service adds a super welcoming vibe, all the staff are so lovely - highly recommend! I can recommend the ensaladilla Rusa, ensalada de remolacha & flan casero de vanilla - so so good! They also have the best playlists in the background & Sunday we saw a live performance which was great entertainment

My wife and I came here with some local friends that eat and drink here very often. We LOVED it! We sat outside and just ate and ate and ate and drank more! Everything was outstanding including the service and comfortable atmosphere. Where to start...the jamon Iberico, ensalada ruso, berenjena, and "El bikini de mi infancia" were all delicious. We had more dishes but trust, everything is awesome. Oh, and even though we are not typically dessert people, we ate every last bite of the flan and "Cremoso de chocolate con pan, aceite y sal". Yummy! We'll definitely return soon. Go!

Incredible tapas bar. Food was fresh, creative, and delicious.i really enjoyed the tapas. Nothing was under or over-seasoned. Tapas are mostly based on seafood dishes but there is something for everyone. Menu appears to change often. It felt very genuine, local. This is not a tourist trap. Really good service. We flew into Barcelona and this was our first stop. I suggest you put this one on your bucket list!

Really cute spot and great food! Arguably the best ham I’ve ever had in the 10 years I’ve been in Catalunya. Every dish is good, it’s a fantastic spot for classic Catalan dishes! Reservation absolutely is needed, place is always super busy. Service is unfortunately not great. Super slow, took forever to order, we had to flag down the staff every time we needed something. They didn’t come to us once, not even to take our order lol. Have been several times and had the issue before as well.

Incredible place, highly recommended. I don’t understand the low overall rating, makes no sense. The food is exceptional, the service is warm and friendly. I can’t fault it. Comida muy rica! Local muy pequeño, con mucho ruido, lo mejor es reservar. En el interior hace mucho ruido. Probamos la tortilla trufada, que está jugosa y muy buena de sabor. El bikini trufado es un espectáculo, igual que el chocolate con sal y aceite que tomamos de postre. A mi parecer, precios muy caros pero el sitio es muy mono y la comida está buena.

Lastima del vino blanco mas que caliente. Deben tener la nevera a tope,siempre se dice lo mismo...esta en la nevera. Buena comida con buen servicio y atención.

La comida muy buena. Pero me parece excesivo el precio que maneja. No me parece normal cobrar 11 euros por un bikini, o 16 euros por una tortilla de 12 cm de diametro, nunca en la vida se deberia pagar esta animalada para productos tan basicos como estos. Peca de lo mismo que muchos bares del estilo del rollo vermuteria. Comida buena pero sobreinflada a mares de precio. Una lastima.

Precioso bar con unos platos bastante ricos, especialmente la tortilla y la ensaladilla. El bikini normal y la berenjena estaban buenos pero ok, el flan muy rico. Buen servicio, precios un poco altos para el tamaño.

Fuimos por un café y algo dulce. Esteticamente es precioso. Tiene su fachada antigua tanto por dentro como por fuera. Lo unico malo es que la carta es algo acotada. La tarta de queso es un must, donde ademas trae un frasco de mermelada regional muy rico. Con respecto a la atención fue muy atenta en todo momento. Tuve la mala suerte de derramar un cafe encima mío y no tardaron ni un segundo en venir a ayudarme. Luego me trajeron uno nuevo y no lo incluyeron en la cuenta.

It might look like any other bar in the area (alrhough you notice a cool oldish style if you look carefully at it), but it isn't at all. Bar Alegria has a century behind delivering excellent small dishes. They work through ever changing menu and you get what is in fornthe day on the whiteboard. Obviously you can always trust there will be a bunch of classics like their truffle omelette, their ham&cheese sandwich (very special as well) or their russian salada. No matter the dish you will choose I'm positive it will be good. They are quite small though, so consider at least 2 per person if you want to get a full meal. This means also that the bill will be higher that the average in the area. Also worth to share some of their awesome desserts: their cheesecake and their mascarpone and pistachio are mind-blowing! Service good enough. 3,4/5⭐️ Bar Alegría, su nombre es lo que trasmite cada plato. Fuimos un grupo de 3 amigos y salimos encantandos con la variedad de tapas tan gustosas que tenían. Destacar la cantidad de cada plato. El ambiente era ideal y eso que fuimos en pleno invierno.

La comida riquísima!! El personal amable, pero no nos hacían caso y nos costó ser atendidas. De todos modos, cuando pedimos fueron muy rápidos en traer la comida.

Personal super amable, Pero raciones ínfimas, un pincho con Dos aceituna y una anchoa y una “tostada” del tamaño de un dedo 8 euros.

Hemos ido hoy finalmente después de días queriendo visitarlos y nos hemos llevado una sorpresa pero bastante negativa, pedimos un paté de campo q dicen hacer ellos y tuvimos q devolverlo porque no estaba ni fresco ni con buen sabor ni olor, somos amantes del paté pero este no ha sido una buena opción, luego pedimos una anchoa (literalmente 1), estaba “ok” , luego un calamar q nos ha parecido un abuso total q cobren 16€ por nada especial, ni en sabor ni en presentación, quedamos sumamente sorprendidos, de bebida dos tintos de verano q tenían más soda q vino, la verdad no entendimos nada de nada. No recomendamos ir si eres de paladar exigente a la hora de probar calidad en tapas españolas. La atención ok los chicos amables, por lo demás mucho q desear. Last time
