Espanyol Barcelona Reviews
Awesome stadium - we were sat in the gods and still a fantastic view. In fact, I would even recommend sitting up there as the views of the mountains and sunset was beautiful.
Managed to get tickets at the gate vs Atletico Madrid. The fans were all welcoming and conversed with me in my horrible Spanish because they were so interested in why I'd come from Egypt and go to an Espanyol match. Espanyol came from 1-0 down to win the game 2-1 so the atmosphere was amazing in the end.
We watched the Catalan derby as Barca fans. Getting in and out of the stadium was smooth, and the staff were helpful in guiding us to our seats. We were even allowed to bring in our own food and water, which was a nice surprise.
The first time I visited the stadium, I found the staff members to be nice and helpful. However, I was charged $35 for tickets that were listed online for $22.50. When I asked the cashier about the discrepancy, he was unable to provide an answer. This lack of clarity is unacceptable and needs to be addressed.
Honestly the most Spanish thing I did on my visit to Barcelona was to go see Espanyol play at the RCDE Stadium, the crowd was so into it and it was a stadium filled with families enjoying time together touched my heart to see the local fans giving there all in a draw against a better team.
Amazing experience at the RCDE Stadium! Built just a few years ago, this 40,000 seat venue is the perfect place to watch a good soccer game. The architecture is wonderful and it provides an intimate environment for a match. The fans are always happy and big supporters of their team, Espanyol. It’s easy to arrive to the stadium by metro from Barcelona, so no worries. Most seats are covered, so in case of rain you should be ok. Go watch a game here, you’ll be happy you did ⚽️
So majestic, the stadium is! I went to watch a game with a friend, it was RCDE vs Osasuna. The only thing that I didn't like was some FANS were being so rude/disrespectful. They bullied/insulted/cursed someone during the game. This kind of disgrace act should be banned inside. I know it's not allowed to do it but still they did it.
The stadium is nice but the design is not that good
