Fismuler Barcelona Reviews
He ido varias veces y nunca falla. Ambiente espacioso, luminoso y agradable. Personal amable y eficiente. Platos sabrosos y variados.
He disfrutado el momento. Muchas gracias.
A wonderful restaurant in the Born area. Great ambiance, friendly and attentive staff, and delicious food. The place is large and the tables were well spaced for easy conversation. Our group of 3 shared 4 unique tapas dishes as well as a massive schnitzel which must be their signature dish because almost everyone had it. We had cheesecake and chocolate tart for dessert. Highly recommended for date nights or group parties.
We had one of the best meal in Barcelona here. Very creative and absolutely delicious food. Everything in the menu is worthy trying out each of them. Also they have a great wine selection. We'd love to revisit with larger group so we can order more foods!! Ambient is very trendy and modern at the same time not to pretentious. If you are full in the end, never skip the dessert. The cheesecake is heavenly.
As a huge fan and regular of Fismuler in Madrid, I was thrilled to visit their Barcelona location, and it did not disappoint. I can confidently say it has nothing to envy its Madrid counterpart. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was outstanding from the moment we walked in. The undisputed star of the menu is their Escalope. It's not just a dish, it's an experience, watching the waiter prepare it right at your table with fresh egg, fragrant truffle, and onions. My one tip would be to make sure you share it between two people! The portion is very generous and is perhaps a bit too big for just one person. An absolutely fantastic dining experience that lives up to the Fismuler name. Highly recommended!
Dining at Fismuler Barcelona was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant itself has a warm, modern vibe with beautiful natural light, a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere, and a menu that celebrates fresh, seasonal Mediterranean ingredients. We tried several dishes and were impressed by the creativity and balance in every plate. The San Román escalope was a highlight — crispy, tender, and topped with a rich egg and truffle mix that brought everything together beautifully. The cheesecake is also a must-try: light, creamy, and probably one of the best we've had in Barcelona. But what really elevated the whole experience was the service — especially Maria. She was not only friendly and attentive but also gave us some great tips on what to order, how dishes were prepared, and how best to share plates. Her warm smile and genuine hospitality made us feel truly welcome and added a personal touch that stood out. We left feeling full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for refined yet relaxed dining in the heart of Barcelona.
I can't speak highly enough of this place. The food is absolutely delicious and creative. Each dish has so much flavour. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff are very attentive and knowledgable. For the quality you get, the price is very reasonable. This is one of my favourite restaurants in Spain!
My second visit to Fismuler confirmed it’s one of Barcelona’s best—this time with six people, allowing us to try even more dishes. The oysters were impeccably fresh, the cod omelette was divine, and the cheesecake? Pure indulgence. Every bite was a celebration of authentic, high-quality Spanish flavors—no tired tapas clichés here. 100% recommended for anyone craving a true taste of Spain.
We weren’t very sure what to order, but every dish we picked turned out to be surprisingly delicious! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the staff remained friendly and attentive despite being busy. There was also live music tonight — the singer had a lovely voice, which really elevated the atmosphere!
I had a wonderful experience at Fismuler Barcelona! The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was equally impressive, warm, friendly, and attentive throughout the evening. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a special night out. A big thank you to the team for the lovely surprise birthday cake. My boyfriend had requested it, and you made the moment really special. I truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture. Highly recommend this place for great food and a memorable experience!
Amazing food! Every dish was delicious but the service was non existent and slow. However, the food was very good so it made up for it. Loved the prawn tartare, the razor clams and the cabbage. The escalope was good but wouldn’t have it again. The cheesecake had great texture but it tasted like blue cheese which I don’t like :( Would come back to try more dishes!

Comida: 8/10 buena comida. Servicio: 7,5/10. Precio: 6,5/10. Repetiría? Si.
We went for dinner to Fismuler and the food was very unique and different to what I’ve had before. It’s unique and feels like an experience. The crab with red rice was delicious and so was the chicken wings. We shared the duck breast as a main. I think the service needs more work however.
Made a reservation on the day of (Monday). Got a table for 5 at 7pm. It was quite busy so service was slow and food took a while to come out. They served one dish at a time, which worked since our table was so small. Wine selection was fantastic. Loved the Spanish red wines. Fav dishes: red creamy rice, duck corn Gorgonzola cheesecake was delicious and similar to Joncake. There’s one server who speaks Mandarin/Cantonese which is was surprising and cool to hear. Recommend this place for a date night or special occasion since it is expensive. Interesting flavour combos and some standout dishes so I’d come back next time I visit to try more from their rotating menu. Better to come in a group so you can try more dishes. I visited on Oct 6, 2025. Surprised to see so many low ratings recently. Friends both local and regular visitors recommended this place. Maybe there’s been a change in staff?
First of all, I’d like to talk about the welcome. Even though she spoke little English, the lady who greeted us was polite. The atmosphere wasn’t bad; our table was right by the window, set up as part of a row, so we were sitting next to other customers — which wasn’t a problem for us. The presentation was successful, and there seemed to be an effort to create a fusion cuisine effect. I think the chef did a great job — up until our last dish. In the Crab Paella, the crab was overcooked and even a bit dry, so I didn’t find its appearance or flavor as successful as the other dishes we tried. The only thing that made us feel uncomfortable was that the servers seemed a bit arrogant and not very friendly. At one point, I asked a waiter if I could have some salt and pepper, and he “jokingly” said, “No, I can’t bring it.” I found this completely unnecessary and not funny at all. In fact, because of the seriousness on his face, it was even hard to tell it was supposed to be a joke. In summary, I can say the food was delicious, but it was served with unnecessary arrogance and unhappy faces.
The place came highly recommended by friends and had great online reviews, so we made a reservation through Google Maps. The ambiance was cozy and stylish, and the ingredients were clearly fresh. The shrimp tartare and cheesecake were outstanding. That said, we went on a Tuesday night around 9:30 PM and many dishes were already sold out. The service was a bit slow, and the receptionist who greeted us didn’t seem very welcoming, which slightly affected the experience. Also the prices are bit high , 50-60 euro per person
Food was good, but service was terrible. Arrogant and did not let good feeling. Restaurant was almost empty and the servant gave us the common table.

Is 1h15 enough to enjoy a meal out❓ Definitely not in Spain 🇪🇸. In Spain they (ok, we) have something called “sobremesa”, where people stay after their meal and talk, maybe have a drink or two... This is a tradition, almost a religion here. I love that. 🙌 Fismuler (@fismuler.barcelona) is a place that has become really famous, mainly for their... schnitzel... why not. 🤷 It’s so famous that you need to book quite in advance and leave your credit card in case of no show (this is not common in BCN, fortunately). But, most of all, it’s so famous that, before you book, once you’ve booked and as soon as you arrive, they warn you that you’ll only be able to sit for 1h15... 😤 Normally I wouldn’t book a place like this but I had arranged everything with my friends beforehand and it was too late to change. That said, they let us stay almost 3h... so I don’t understand the need to stress us before we even start checking the menu. 🤦 The place is beautiful and the rest of the service was excellent, really professional but still very nice. 👍 I initially thought I would spend my time talking about the schnitzel... Not worth it. It’s very good but I don’t understand what the excess of cheap truffle and the egg bring (I tried a bite without them and I enjoyed it more) and I really think €29 is crazy expensive for a schnitzel. 😳 I also thought I would spend much time talking about the beef tartare since they prepare it before you... but, even though that thing was good, it was no beef tartare (90% of the ingredients were missing). 👎 In general the food was good, the presentation was great (check this soft shell crab!) but nothing was exceptional (wrong: the 🦆 duck breast was terrific). I was quite surprised that we “only” paid €40 each (sharing a couple of desserts and with a few drinks). Even though I had to eat a lot of bread to feel full and I find this expensive, I would have expected way more, given the hype. Quality & taste: 8/10 Quantities: 7/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 Originality: 9/10 Ratio price / quality: 7/10 Service: 10/10 How I felt afterwards: 7/10

The service was good, the waiters are very friendly. But the food was disappointing. The rice was very salty, I couldn’t eat it at all, even though we said at first that we want less salt. And the waiters changed a dish for me(thank you) and the meat war completely raw. It’s a duck it’s not a beef steak… and I asked for more cooked the dish came back but with more salt on it…. It’s like they did it on purpose…
Very salty across all dishes. Unfortunately it was unfinishable despite we had 3 people, it was too salty to continue, which was a shame as it seems overrated on social media. Live music was a nice touch until he got his volume dialed down half way through his first song. Staff was nice. Overall feeling - overrated.
