Everything is awe-inspiring here. The cafe has friendly and professional staff, the best location at the corner of the main streets, delicious coffee and sweets, and Spanish foods,spacious rooms where you can relax, and spotless toilets. This is what I looked for in a high-density tourist spot in Barcelona. 100% decency is here to enjoy. Even glass-bottled, no-gas mineral water is standard at this place.

My husband and I stopped in here for a quick break from sightseeing on a rainy day, and I'm so glad we did! Mirella, our server, was absolutely wonderful, making some suggestions for things for us to try. My husband has fallen in love with the fresh anchovies (boquerones) here in Spain, and the ones here did not disappoint. We also enjoyed the traditional pan con tomate, croquettes, a Russian salad with tuna, a Spinach salad with pomegranate and hazelnuts, and a creamy artichoke soup that will live in my memories for years to come. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

I ate here the day before returning to France (august 2025), while waiting for the flamenco show at the City Hall Theatre (just next door) to begin. I ordered the shrimp croquette duo it was served quickly, nice and hot, and I definitely recommend it! The place has a terrace as well as a very spacious and beautifully designed interior, with even a small bar.It’s located right next to a metro station, on a corner surrounded by many shops. Everything was very clean, including the large restrooms which were being cleaned regularly. The staff was welcoming. A very good experience!

What an incredible find! I’ve been coming to Barcelona for the past 20 years and thought I’d tried everything but this place was such an unexpected surprise. Yes the menu was full of classic Spanish cuisine, but it was done so so well. I mean it was exquisite. We ordered the potato’s bravas, tomato bread, fried eggplant with honey, cod fish, a desert of fried Brie and chocolate and everything we served fresh, piping hot and was incredibly delicious. They also happen to serve fresh gelato at the front of the restaurant as well. Highly recommended definitely will visit the next time I come back in 4 months.

For a farewell dinner during with a tour group, this was a great place to end our 10-day tour. The staff did well to accommodate various dietary needs and made recommendations for us wherever possible. Luckily for us, the restaurant was not too busy, so the environment was more intimate, but I can see this place being very popular on a regular day.
