The salmon sashimi was incredible. It was dessert and a meal at the same time. The staff are very friendly and super helpful when it comes to the ordering. Fantastic meal!
My go to sushi place. My wife and I used to frequent the one in San Carlos and this one lives up to the name. We are glad it's getting a wider audience. Definitely a must try!
great sushi, this is our go to sushi place for fresh, really fresh and yummy sushi!!! did I say fresh? YES!!! hard to find around here and they nailed it. We used to go to Bonsai before Mike closed it down. We were sooo lucky to find Asya! its our favorite sushi restaurant
Was passing through and stopped here for dinner last night. Food was delicious. Would definitely come back again if I am in the area.
Great neighborhood sushi/thai spot. They never disappoint and price point is great. Everyone is super friendly
My family loves the food for takeout it’s our go-to for dinners as well as parties, and my husband and I love to go and sit at the bar. Sushi is excellent, prices are very fair and chef always has a surprise for us. Big big fans of Asya!!!!
I've been eating here occasionally for the past 2+ years, and the Thai menu items have gotten REALLY good. I think that the quality is up to the level of Erawan which closed in Redwood City about a year ago. Lately all of the Thai items I've ordered have been consistently good, and the prices are quite reasonable. I haven't eaten anything on the Japanese part o fthe menu in at least a year because the Thai food has been so good.
The sushi was so fresh it melted in your mouth! The service was wonderful and when I remembered that I left my leftover sushi at the restaurant, they had alert put it in the fridge in case I came back. Fabulous!

We Order takeout once a week from Asya. We order the sushi deluxe and chirache, some times rolls. We like their food the quality has been consistent.
This hidden gem has delicious food and great combo of Thai and Japanese options. The service is a bit spotty but hope it will become more attentive as the young servers get more experience.
Liked it. It was comfortable. No fake elegance. Just reliable sushi. Big enough to not feel crowded.
Not the best sushi restaurant I have been to in the area, but still pretty good. Rolls were great, but the salad (I ordered papaya salad) was a bit simple (for the price).
Food was really good. Was a bit crowded but got in without to much of a wait on a Saturday night. Had both sushi and Thai dishes with 4 people family style and we enjoyed them all. Crazy monkey and lion king rolls and drunken noodles and Panang curry. Mixed up our drink order and forgot the edamami and rice otherwise would have given it 5 stars.

Very good food, above average for Japanese. The service was so-so, with multiple mistakes on the order. They were very busy with take out, so did not pay much attention to people dining there. They fixed each mistake, but we had to point them out.

I've eaten there two times, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times the quality of the fish was mediocre at best. The rolls they got wrong and they put more avocado than fish on the rainbow roll. Compound that with slow service and... I won't be back.

Expensive and low quality plus low quantity. Cockroach in their food

Not good. Just not good sushi. Messes up our order which it s not a big deal but we left most of the food uneaten. Didnt try the thai food so maybe that's better.
I came to get the order and the food was isn't ready so I asked do u think it will take a long time or not because I was working and didn't have time. And the cashier was giving really rude answers
Ordered the seafood pad thai, portions were tiny, and bill was pricey. Took a few bites and realized the scallops had gone bad. Not a slight ammonia taste, but a rancid flavor and smell that I could taste and smell thru the strong spices. How the chef who prepares raw fish for a living didn't catch it is beyond me. I pointed it out to the waiter quietly as I did not want to spook any other sit down customers. The chef and waiter bickered for a minute, before the chef came to take a smell of my unedible dish. He then offered me four dollars off my 27 or so dollar plate of rancid pad thai. I told him I took 2 bites and was worried about getting sick, as is the case with rancid shell fish. He countered at a seven dollar discount, I declined and payed full price with my promise to him I would never return after dining there once a month for a year or so. I do not have to tell you what followed that night. Missed two days of work with food poisoning. Not too happy about my experience at all.
