I was hesitant to try a seafood food truck but after talking to Tibi I decided to give it a shot we had the fried fish and my only regret was not getting more. I can't wait to come back and try more! The fish was fresh and seasoned perfectly.

My fiancé and I drove to Bastrop from Austin to visit the state park and got hungry. Originally wanted bbq but the food truck we were going to stop at was closed! That’s how I stumbled on Bay Bayz. The truck had good advertising because looking at the pictures, I was like “that crab looks good and flavored”!! So I asked my fiancé if we could have that. Well she said no she didn’t want to eat seafood from a food truck. So we went back to the car and looked for other options. Well I was still thinking about the crab and wasn’t taking no for an answer! I told her that I was ordering there and she could order elsewhere lol! And I did! And he did not disappoint! Got the crab, potatoe, 2 sausage, corn plate for $19.99!!! He has lemon pepper flavor, honey garlic and some others!! Y’all it was soooooooo good!!! I don’t regret eating seafood from a food truck in Bastrop, Tx! And my fiancé asked for some of my corn and I said, Hell No, enjoy your pizza!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I rarely write any reviews but this place deserves credit. This is the best place for fried fish in Taylor or any where in central Texas. Fish is seasoned so well and fried to a very taste crunch. BayBay"Z has become my favorite place to eat fish and seafood in Taylor and surrounding areas.

The Bay Bay'z truck serves shrimp, fish, and other options all cajun fried and boiled style. Their seasoning is light and flavorful and the breading is light as well. Very tasty without trying to burn you down. Outside seating is really well done. Clean and nice. Friendly folks with good service.

The food was great large servings I tried a Cajun crab plate was seasoned very well and came with a good amount of food for $17. Also got a friend shrimp plate as well and the only thing that kept it from being 5 stars was the lack of seasoning on the fries. Everything else was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend it.

Also got a friend shrimp plate as well and the only thing that kept it from being 5 stars was the lack of seasoning on the fries. Everything else was absolutely amazing. The food is good but it's way too expensive for a food truck!!! With their prices you should get a 5 course meal with a sit in eatery and wine selection!!! Over rated!!!

I ordered from them on DoorDash a fried fish and shrimp platter and an order of tartar sauce all for $30. They were out of stock on the fish and shrimp but did not tell me or cancel my order they just silently refunded the fish and shrimp to my bank which takes a few days. However they still decided to send a giant bag of tartar sauce to rub it in… which I now have no fish to use it on. Thanks I guess? Here’s a photo of how much tartar sauce $30 gets you.
