This is actually a really good small town buffet. They have a spicy chicken and shrimp dish that is awesome sweet tea was on point also.

My go to for chinese food in Bastrop for now! I love the buffet and go and get the take out buffet option often! I go between 11-1pm and 5-7pm and the food is always fresh and good and is the best time to go IMO! Great selection, LOTS of options!!!

Food has gone downhill since last visit a few months ago. Shrimp were not cleaned. We will give it another chance but a little expensive for the quality.

Not good and not even close. Filthy restroom. Sloppy overall buffet line. Food was not very good. The BBQ pork ribs were pretty good, though. Far too expensive for the quality and service, not to mention concerns about overall cleanliness.

The food was OK. Nothing spectacular. There's not a large selection, but a fair one. Service was non-existant. Never could get tea refilled as the server was glued to her phone the whole time. Not going back, as the selection and SERVICE were not worth the money spent.

Some of the food was good but most cold . First off if I could give a zero review I would all the silverware and plates and cups had specks of food and the plates and cups look old and worn. I saw an employee drop a wash cloth and pick it up and continued to clean around the food area. Hopefully no one will get sick because of the unsanitary carelessness. I had to walk out with my family after witnessing such filth.

It's been a very long time since I've had a dining experience this bad. I walk in and the hostess does not greet because she is too busy talking to her boyfriend. She eventually motions a server to seat me. The server has an earpiece in and talking to God knows who and stayed on the phone the entire time. The place was dirty, unwelcoming, and honestly disgusting. The buffet selection was very small and what little was there was so awful. Everything I tried was terrible. Literally this was the worst Asian food I've ever had. You could clearly see where old food was mixed in with the new and it was bad. Really, really, really bad. It was so overpriced. The second I finished what little I could stomach, I started feeling sick. The bathroom was unbelievable. Graffiti all the the stalls and the smell could cripple the strongest warriors on the planet. This place is a really bad joke. You should avoid this place like the plague because it's quite possible you might catch the plague by eating here. There should be a negative rating on this place. Dear God, how do places like this stay in business?? Two thumbs down. This is Fear Factor level dining experience. They should pay you for trying to stomach it. I think I might have food poisoning to be honest.

DONT EAT HERE! If you’re also trying to order through - too good to go. Don't do that either. I reserved 2 bags paid 13 dollars together. When I went to pick up. I was only given 1 little bag with 2 - 1/2 cups of horrible soup. Nothing else was given. This restaurant is horrible and needs to be taken off of Too good to Go. All they care about is ripping ppl off to make more money. Save your money and go to Panda Express. Waste of money and customers are definitely not valued. Sad sad sad

Food was extremely cold. Their explanation was that it was a slow day, so turnover on the buffet wasn't happening. I sent my plate back, waitress microwaved it and brought it back. Manager/ owner starting speaking Vietnamese to someone else when she showed me the boiling water under the buffet pans and said, "see, hot"! I touched a shrimp and said "no, it's cold." She slammed the plate in the dirty plate bin. Charged us $17.89 each for two people. No offer to discount what I would be hesitant to serve to anyone for fear of a food poisoning charge. Won't ever be back there again.

Went for dinner at 5 and everything was old and had been sitting. Not a great selection, half of it was so mushy from sitting in the steam table it was inedible. Then to charge over 21 dollars for a single person was outrageous.

If you’re new to the area or just driving through, do not go here ! Cold , nasty food ! The restaurant its self is very dirty grimy and down right gross, bathrooms are the same washing your hands in there made me feel even dirtier! I’m not sure how they are still open … I wish I would have read some of the previous reviews we would have skipped this waste of money all together.

Food was absolutely disgusting today no flavor and the bit of flavor we had was just nasty there are no labels to see what your getting or allergy warnings I got the noodles and couldn't breathe I tried to ask if they were made in peanut oil but the lady obviously couldn't understand me she kept asking me if I wanted more and said she didn't understand this place is usually good but today was just horrible 😡

If I could give a zero star review, I would……the place was disgustingly dirty. The parking lot was way cleaner than the inside of this place. The bathrooms were SO bad. I can only imagine that the kitchen was in the same condition. The floor, carpets, and rugs looked like they had not been cleaned since the day they took possession of the building. There was grime and nasty sticky goo all over the napkin dispenser and salt and pepper shakers at our table. We went hungry, and we left hungry as we were simply afraid to eat there. I pointed out all of the pictures I took to the lady at the front counter as we walked out. She said “ohhhh, I show the boss”…..more like the health department needs to pay them a visit. We were in town for work, and know that if we are ever back, that is one place we will be avoiding. So gross. I have seen many of livestock barns in cleaner conditions than this China Buffet.
