TL;DR: Old school diner with a owner that is very involved with the day-to-day operations. Even as an introvert, I love the vibes in this place. It's busy, the kitchen is open so you hear all the staff talking, and the owner is constantly doing the rounds. (This recent visit he was doing what we call "Drive by Dad Jokes"; he'll sidle up to your table, tell you a joke, then bolt while you're still laughing. It's fun to watch) Food is always solid, staff seem happy, and I've never seen the place empty. If we're ever in the mood for a sit-down breakfast, this is always the first on the list.

I had the special Pigs in a blanket stater, bacon cheese burger and totes. Started was crispy on the outside and juicy and hot on the inside. I’m not a mustard kind of guy, but I dipped them in ketchup. Next the tots were so crispy and so good also had them with ketchup. Burger came out nice and hot with once again such crispy bacon and everything just hit right.

A fully loaded omelet with fresh veggies and a generous drizzle of ketchup, served alongside a heap of hash browns and grilled bread that was grilled to perfection. Every bite was better than the last. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the flavor is consistently fantastic. Digger’s Diner is the kind of place you keep coming back to — not just for the food, but for the community vibe and nostalgic charm. Highly recommend for breakfast lovers, brunch dates, or just anyone who enjoys classic diner comfort food done right.

This is a great restaurant, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very nice. The food always comes out quick and the waitresses are always checking in on you. I definitely recommend this restaurant

12/13/23: My sister and I came in starving after sitting at the hospital all day. Staff was prompt in seating us. Clean restroom for the ladies. Jasmine, our waitress was amazingggg!!! I ordered a tuna melt with lettuce tomatoe and extra cheese, and it was o. Sourdough bread. So good. My sister said the beef brisket sandwich was THE BEST she had ever had! Hot fries, $7 glasses of chardonnay. The Ceasars salad was fresh, and the dressing was fresh. The best thing is the owner "Digger" came over to check on the tables and make sure we were happy. Loved that! Branding is everything! 12/14/23: Sandra was our server today, and she was bright, bubbly, and professional. Today, little sister ordered a spicy pattie melt with fries. I ordered the mushroom swiss burger with everything, along with onion rings. I am not disappointed, and if they had one in east Orlando Fl....I might move in. LOL, but seriously...Thank you diggers diner for being awesome when we were not feeling awesome when mom was sick. You gave us hope, good spirit, kindness, and professionalism that shows the owner loves the staff like family while holding high standards. ❤️

The food is always incredible. The service is always friendly. Great atmosphere when you just want to get away and enjoy good tasting diner food with friends and family. I got nothing bad to say about this place. A good friend of mine brought me here years ago and I'm just happy Diggers Diner is still there. It always brings back good memories from the first bite. Diggers Diner in Concord is one of those spots that always makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The staff are friendly, attentive, and the service is impressively fast—even when they have a full crowd during breakfast hours. Despite the rush, the atmosphere never feels too loud or chaotic; it’s still easy to relax and enjoy your meal. The food is consistently amazing and full of flavor. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to go, everything comes out fresh and tasty. It’s become a regular spot for me, and my kids love it just as much. There’s something comforting and reliable about the whole experience. Definitely a great place for a hearty meal, good service, and a family-friendly vibe.

My co worker got me a chicken sandwich from here about a month before I came in myself(where I’m writing this) and it was simple yet perfectly delicious. So on the way to work I made a pit stop and came in. I’m writing this as I’m waiting for my chicken cheesesteak sandwich and fries. And as I’ve sat and passively observed this operation, I’ve noticed that this place is pretty awesome in atmosphere and customer service alone! Lots of regulars coming in and out, the staff greeted them like they’ve known them for years(probably do) they even noticed when some customers came in at a different time than they usually do. Every staff member was polite and enthusiastic to every customer, even those working the grill. It’s a small cozy shop with chill low rider/motorcycle/ highway eatery vibes. I’m only giving 4 stars because I haven’t tried a lot of the food and have only had one experience so far.

Was expecting good things from this place cause my wife had said she ate here when she was in school but i was very disappointed! it was kinda busy when we got here not crazy busy but for some reason it took absolutely forever to order our food and another long wait and when our food arrived it was Luke warm to say the least.parts of our meal didn't even make it to our table kinda sad. I really wanted to love this place. I came in on a weekday, and the food was wonderful! On a busy Sunday though? Save your money. I coulda went to dennys. I asked for crispy hashbrowns and crispy bacon. The bacon was burnt , hashbrowns had zero crisp. The food also all had the same greasy flavor, and when I bit into the bacon grease squirted in my mouth. Might give them one more chance but definitely not for a Sunday breakfast.

Quite the disappointment in concord diner. Been passing for years and a friend invited me. The chef salad was a few thin lunch meat sliced, and boiled egg and some lettuce. Probably the worst I've ever been served! My friend had a hot dog he didn't finish.

Ordered from here via DoorDash, asked for my burger to be well done when it got delivered. It was rare. I called them and they said to bring it back and they would give me a new one. Just bring back the other one which I did along with the fries that I had got to go with the burger they swapped out my burger barely wanted to give me fresh fries. Had to get approval from the kitchen manager, and then when I asked for ranch, they wanted to charge me for it. I don’t understand what is wrong with people these days who cannot be accountable for their mistakes. Here is an update with the picture. The burger is still not well done
