Crispy Cloud Bayside Reviews
4.5 stars. This fast casual restaurant was recently featured in a local newspaper, so I decided to check them out. Crispy Cloud offers customizable bibimbap, acai bowls, smoothies, Taiyaki, Korean toasts, sandwiches and Croffles. I love the customizable approach to bibimbaps which is rare for most Korean restaurants. You get to choose the grain (white or multigrain rice), protein (there are 5 to choose from), veggies, toppings, and sauces. The bibimbap here is served cold and not the blisteringly hot stone pot version. In fact, the only thing hot (temperature wise) was the fried egg on top. I’ve had both versions of bibimbap, and my preference is usually the hot serving but I still thoroughly enjoyed the ones here. The gochujang (red chilli paste) they used had just the right amount of heat with slight sweet undertones which I loved. It really helped to perk up the dish. We also tried their Create-your-own acai bowl. I got a small 12 oz acai bowl, and it came with unlimited toppings. I got mine with strawberries, bananas, walnuts, and granola crumble. The acai itself was delicious and had the consistency of frozen ice cream (vs. soft serve). All of the fruit was fresh, and the granola crumble was slightly sweet. And for dessert, we got 2 Taiyakis with Nutella filling. It was so delicious, freshly made and piping hot. My only complaint is that I wished they had put more Nutella filling, but I think for most people it would be fine. Overall, it was a really great first visit. We enjoyed everything we ordered and will be back to try their Korean toast and Croffles.
Crispy Cloud opened at the beginning of November where TMB used to be. I had the beef bulgogi and spicy squid kim bob. I thought they were as good, if not a little better, than the same at Rolly Kimbap. Will have to try their customizable bibimbap-like rice bowl next time. Update - went back the next day and had a bulgogi rice bowl. It was great!
Doesn’t have the greatest dine in ambiance. Food was pretty good Pictured: bulgogi bi bim bap
It said "Grand Opening" wanted to try it. The employee is very polite to the customers. I decided to buy I bought 10 piece wings with soy garlic and spicy. I kept looking at the TV screen how they were grilling it so I bought half chicken mild too. I bought fries too but I wish they use different fries. All the chicken was on point well grilled and fried, it was very juicy and tender. The sauce was actually really good. I recommend to try it although everyones taste is different but try it. The employee said they will have more different menus soon and even alcohol.
Strongly recommend trying out their fried chicken with sweet and spicy sauce! It’s super crunchy and fresh. The owner/staff who took our takeaway order was super friendly and sent us free churros!

such a nice spot to meet with friends. great place for drinks and the cajun seafood is literally my favorite. i always order from here and the highest spice level is perfect for me.
I ordered bulgoghi ghimbop. Really tasty. I'm planning on trying every category of food going forward. The shop is clean and cute.
The bbq chickens are SO GOOD. I highly recommend this place! The service is very good and food are delicious!
TMB Grilled Chicken is the new spot and the best korean fried chicken around. So crunchy and the flavor is so good. I ordered the spicy soy garlic wings and they were super delicious, crispy and flavorful!!! It was nice balance between spicy and a tad of sweetness. Definitely recommend!!
Best fried chicken wings! It was so crispy and delicious. I highly recommend it. Winner winner chicken dinner! Support local businesses and stop ordering from the fast food chains. 🐥💯👍
My favorite new chicken place in Queens! Everything is cook to order and tastes so good. They have a $10 lunch menu that is hard to beat for the price and quality. Look at their deliciously crispy fries! Better than McDonald's fries? You bet!
With 3 Friends come here,we found here is amazing!because the seafood is the freshest,Snow crab is huge, clams, shrimp, squid... so delicious!and the spiciness is very appetizing. and the fried chicken tastes very authentic. will come back again!
Since crispy cloud came to town, my life has been significantly improved. I LOVE their taiyaki, smoothies and açaí bowls. It’s important to note that it’s not that “fast” but that’s because it’s currently one person working there and she’s making everything fresh. It’s completely worth the $$ and time for me.
Ive ordered here several times. Food is very good. The sauce is different than a lot of the Korean chicken places around here. It's a good alternative to eating fried chicken. Worth a try
The food quality is very good and the staff is very nice and courteous. The front also sells different varieties of kimchee, which was great! It tasted different then what I normally buy at hmart. It has a homemade taste to it. Enjoy going here.

Very nice atmosphere. First time coming after hearing about it for a while. The place was empty a little after lunch service. I ordered their sweet grilled chicken and fried chicken wings. I would say the fried chicken wings were crispy and juicy at the same time. I should of tried another sauce on the grilled chicken which was slathered in sweet sauce which I couldn't fully enjoy the flavor of grilled chicken itself. You get some radish and a small salad to balance out the heat with takeout service.
The chicken was great, japchae was okay, I did like the space, I want to come back a few more times to try out the rest of the menu, seems like they just opened up.
The taiyaki is great my son love it. The place a quiet good. Clean and fresh.

They don't serve grilled chicken anymore. The menu totally changed. Now they serve fried chicken, churo and Mexican boiled seafood . So sad they don't serve grilled chicken anymore

Really wanted to support a new local business but my stomach is hurting from the super dry, luke warm chicken we got this evening. We’re disappointed in the quality overall (as it was definitely not freshly grilled) and sadly, will not return. Worst experience ever had with ordering take out.
