Tinker Street Tavern

You might not look here as a first thought for where to find the best chef in Woodstock, but this is where to find him… Chef Alex absolutely kills it! There’s two other entrees at high end restaurants that I would put on par with his cooking- maybe. Absolutely bonkers. Great people, incredible food, and a fire pit. You can’t go wrong.

I went down to bearsville theater with some friends to see a show so we decided to eat down there to tinker Street tavern. Great company. Excellent drinks. An outstanding food. One of the best burgers I tasted in a very long time. Good quality. If you're ever in the area, do stop by

The best dog around and some of the best fries, too!!! The grill master asked if I wanted a half order of fries (not listed on the menu) because the regular/full order is really big—what a mensch! I asked for a draught list and after mouthing my indecision for a minute the bartender boldly recommended a canned beer, and I'm so glad for it—delicious! Tinker Street Tavern is a great place to come celebrate after your car's weird noise that no one at the dealership could diagnose or would believe you about for the past year because of the very specific weather conditions needed to reproduce it has finally be fixed. I can't think of a better spot to cherish being made whole again. Bring your loved ones and thank me later!

While on our anniversary vacation, my partner & I stopped at the Tinker st Tavern and had a great experience! Not only was the food amazing but, the gentleman serving us was phenomenal. He was incredibly sociable and even provided us with a list of local places to check out, which we later used when finding a restaurant for our anniversary dinner! There was also a group of local musicians playing/practicing, which providing the best atmosphere! This place is a must go and we cannot wait to go back the next time we're in the area!

Great spot with a relaxed pub vibe. Attentive bartender. We're so happy food is being served again and it's delicious! Burger, falafel, wings were all very good. Live acoustic Celtic music every Monday night. You'll be happy here:)

Our favorite bar on this side of the hudson. We love coming for the Monday night celtic sessions and sometimes just have a casual drink and play some pool. Happy to have a neighborhood pub in town.

Phenomenal high-end bar food at a reasonable price. Burger, chicken nuggs, fries and wedge salad are tip top. Great atmosphere with casual and friendly service. 10/10 would recommend as a stand out local experience in Woodstock.

Since its birth a few years ago “The Tav” or “Tink” as some locals call it has had so much potential to house something for everyone! The bar itself is spacious and most nights of the week there is live music of some sort - paired with the space to dance! They play sports if you ask them and there is a large outdoor patio/fire pit and the whole area is dog friendly. The drinks are tasty and the bartenders are cool! Tinker Street Bites shares the space and that team is cooking up some of the best bar food in the Hudson valley for real!!! This place rules and if you are new here just be aware that it is more like a traditional bar so if you want to be catered to like you’re the only person in the world dish it out at a fancy restaurant which Woodstock has plenty of… but should you humble yourself and seek an experience that is truly Woodstock, check out “the Tav”!

Love this dog friendly bar, lots of space and a lovely outdoor area when the weather is good. The food is also not to be missed- had a delicious grilled cheese and burger. Only complaint was it was a little cold inside on our visit.

Came to tinker St tavern after having a less than ideal experience at another place in town. Tinker st has a great vibe and friendly and attentive staff. The burger and Brussels sprouts were amazing. Solid Guinness pour. And best of all - DOGS!

Great location for those who wanted to enjoy dinner at one of the other restaurants at Bearsville center. So nice to see the center revamped and thriving again!

Great food. Great music. A really nice outdoor space. The inside space is very small and crowded. But, that's where the band was. We ended up sitting outside next to the fire and listened from there. Overall a nice place. I will go back again.

So, we tried every other door.....nope all locked. Finally in through the back door. Not really a warm welcome when we approached the bar. Honestly, I could see the woman bartender worked there. She was hustling around. The dude.....wasn't super sure he worked there. In any case...ordered two bourbons on the rocks. When we were done and went to close out tab....two "martini" charges for a total of $6 was on there. It then said "additional" tip. 1. We did not get martinis 2. Additional tip? We left and wished we asked about the charge but our friends came and we had to boogie to the show. The prices for bar food were outrageous as well. We didn't get food. We won't go back.
