It’s very hard to find a place to get Sushi in Fulton county. Luckily we have Mt. Fuji! Really great sushi and sashimi options. My wife loves getting the Japanese style hibachi meal, while me and my girls chow down on the sushi. I try to have a new roll every time I go. The Naruto was the newest roll I tried and really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to try another! They also offer takeout which is perfect on the go or dinner for home.
Always love their food! My favorites are the eel avocado, spicy yellowtail, & angry dragon. However I've never been dissatisfied with any option
LOVE Mt Fuji!!! They use thick, fresh slices of fish for their sashimi, have inventive specialty rolls, and are always friendly. This family owned restaurant is definitely a hidden gem of Gloversville. Delicious miso soup, dumplings, and generous portions. The owner's kids are also very friendly with a great sense of humor.
It’s so nice and the food is amazing
We ordered takeout and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was! Well packaged, good portion sizes and the tempura chicken rolls were awesome (I'm not a sushi person). My family LOVES sushi and wouldn't stop praising thr godzilla rolls. Would definitely recommend, and we will most assuredly return!
This is hands down thee best Japanese food I have had and even more impressively, the best take out I've ever had. Their hibachi is on point and the sushi is *chef kiss* phenomenal. The staff are very sweet and upbeat. Highly recommend it here. I'm excited to dine in the restaurant itself!

This is the best place to get sushi in Fulton or Montgomery County, hands down. There are other Mt. Fuji restaurants but this is the one to go to! The sashimi is always fresh, their specialty rolls are amazing, the hibachi is great, and their house made ginger dressing is to die for too. I recommend this place to anyone who has ever tried sushi or even to those who haven't. They won't disappoint and their prices are reasonable too. I'd give 10 out of 5 stars if I could. I get sushi from here at least 4 or 5 times a month and I have never been disappointed. My friends who eat sushi say the same things! Its amazing and consistent. Love this place!
On a very cold night, four of us found a warm welcome (and soup) at this friendly place that served high quality Japanese food. The sushi and hibachi dishes were very nicely prepared. Unassuming from the outside as just another storefront, the inside is nicely decorated and there is even a play area for small children. Service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely go back here. Very good value as well.
Fresh, Fresh and Fresh. Trying them for the first time. We did a pick up order and everything was packaged perfectly and ready when I arrived. The fish was fresh and well cut. I never thought we could find good sushi in Gloversville but we did. The restaurant was well lit, clean and they even had some music playing. Only negative is the entrance is a little tight. Once you enter the door the hallway turns left and is a little tight if you have a wheelchair.
We especially enjoyed the angry dragon roll. Naruto was new to us and was nice and light and tasty. The shrimp in the rock shrimp app was full size and quite a few included, but a little overdone. Still tasted good and had a good crispy batter on it. A little heavier than other rock shrimp apps. We had to request plates to eat from and didn't get extra napkins or have anyone check on how things were so it was only ok as far as service. Food came out quickly.
Food is always good. There were a few items they didn't have that were on the menu like milk and chocolate milk for the kids. But other than that it's usually pretty good sushi experience.

Their food is well prepared, the atmosphere is quaint, and the waitress is very nice. I like using their website to order lunch or dinner to bring into work, and the price for their combos and boxes is inexpensive. The only thing preventing 5 stars is the promptness with online ordering. Be prepared to wait 5 or so minutes past the indicated pickup time for everything to be put together.
Overall I love the food I get from here every time I order. I do however think the food is too expensive and they charge extra if you want sriracha mayo on the side. I understand paying for good food but this place nickles and dimes you for everything they can! Overall great good but they should drop prices a tiny bit and stop charging extra for condiments that should be complimentary.
The food is great and the place is great in general but I ordered sushi and they were extremely small for $20 and only came with six and I got mochi thinking it was like the ones I’ve had before and it turned into powder when I ate it and the ice cream was freezer burnt.
Food always tasted good. We didn't like the forced tip on pickup orders. But after two legitimate concerns with food safety, we will not risk eating here again.
An employee sat at the bench in the rear of the restaurant in full view for my entire lunch picking their nose and rubbing snot between their fingers. It was nauseating. We used to love Mt Fuji, now we hesitate to return. I don't want your snot touching my food nor to watch you pick your nose while I'm eating. 🤢
The spicy tuna roll tasted different the more I ate it....had diarrhea the rest of the night. The inside is dismal, dingy, and depressing.
