Cooking Papa Belmont Reviews
Cooking Papa is a hidden gem! I recently ordered from them, and I'm so impressed by the quality and taste, especially given how affordable it is. The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, with that authentic taste that's hard to find. Each dish was packed with fresh ingredients, and you can tell they put effort into every order. It’s rare to find a place that offers both great taste and quality at such reasonable prices. I’ll definitely be ordering again—Cooking Papa has become my go-to spot for delicious, affordable meals!
$36 for 3 dishes, 1 soup and rice - where can you find somewhere cheaper? No where! Also for your first order, it's only $9.90! O R D E R E D * seasonal vegetables * sweet corn fish filet * stir fried pork collar with celery * red dates goji berries & cordyceps flower w/ chicken soup * and rice V E R D I C T This is the perfect home cooking spot without needing you to do the cooking. It's such a good deal for the value you pay. The flavor is just like what my mom would make at home and now, with cooking papa's assistance, I'm able to spend more time with my family instead of spending it in the kitchen. Their service is quick and efficient, when you arrive, you just give them a call and they'll bring the door freshly made out to you. Everything is made to order and nothing is premade making every dish hot and fresh! They're not meant to be dine-in, it's made to order for to-go and you can dine in at home to eat it. Parking can be relatively easy or a bit harder depending on the time of your pick up, of course it can get a bit busy during dinner time and when most people get off work.
I've been to the physical Cooking Papa location many years ago and just discovered that they have a ghost kitchen right by me. This is quite convenient because you just order and pick up. Plus, they're doing a package where you get three dishes and one soup for just $37. Pretty good deal imo.
I recently ordered from cooking papa San Mateo location. Right now they offer the $36.99 family combo with 3 dishes, and it comes with soup and rice. Definitely recommended if you are looking for something fresh, healthy and convenient!
3 entrees, rice, AND soup for just $37?! Yes, please! Fresh, flavorful, and easy on the wallet—perfect for feeding the fam or treating yourself without the guilt. Here’s what I got: Stir-fried Pork Belly w/ String Beans (so savory) Curry Fish Fillet (my absolute fave—tons of tender fish and that curry flavor was bomb!) Seasonal Veggies (fresh and perfectly cooked) Tofu & Dried Seaweed w/ Pork Soup & white rice. Pro Tip: Check their daily set menu—it changes every day, so there’s always something new to try! Bonus points for plenty of parking right outside. Cheers to delicious meals that don’t break the bank!
I just have to rave about the home-cooked meals from Cooking Papa! They're super convenient and honestly taste just like something I’d whip up at home. My favorite has got to be the stir-fried chicken balls with green beans. The green beans are sweet, and the chicken is so flavorful! Whenever I get a chance, I’m definitely gonna try to recreate this dish myself!
Don't feel like cooking at home in the evening? They really come through. Ordering trays for company lunch is a great choice too !
Love the family dinner set, tasty and great value!
Cooking Papa is located inside San Mateo food hall. The place is actually a ghost’s kitchen where you can order your food on the website or the iPad located inside the food hall. Cooking Papa offers home cooking so you don’t have to do the meal prep or cooking at home. They really taste like home-cooked meal. The best thing is they don’t use MSG, and we can tell they use fresh ingredients. Right now they’re running a promotion for first time customers only you will get three dishes with one rice and soup on the side for only $9.99. Then second time customer can get the same deal for only $30.99. Third time customer will purchase at regular price for $36.99, which is still a good deal. What we get : • stir-fry chicken with string beans • stir fried pork belly with winter mellon • Dried beancurd & hairy gourd with pork soup • seasonal vegetables • white rice for us, this is such a good deal we don’t have to do all the milk prep and cleaning. Very convenient during busy weeknights. So we definitely will be ordering this again.
I'm definitely not the best cook out there. Every time I try to whip something up, I end up making a huge mess in the kitchen, and it drives me crazy. But then I found Cooking Papa, and it’s been a game changer! Cooking Papa offers a different menu every day, and it's super convenient compared to cooking for myself. The mealsare well-balanced with meat, veggies, soup, and carbs. Plus, the portions are generous! The flavors remind me of home-cooked meals. Ever since I started eating from Cooking Papa, I can't wait to see what they’re serving up each day. Seriously looking forward to it!
I enjoy their string bean chicken and steamed veggies! It’s flavorful and has good texture. The chicken is tender and the string beans have a satisfying bite to it! The steamed veggies are also nicely seasoned and have a good bite to it. Not ovely steamed. Pickup was fast although parking might be a bit difficult on that street. They share a ghost kitchen space.
