Decided to eat here since it was close to my hotel and I’m impressed with this restaurant. The customer service and food were fantastic! I would recommend ordering their fresa Italian soda, Pollo San Ciro and tiramisu.

My husband and I visit this place quite often because we love the coffee, food, drinks, ambiance, and service. The location is excellent as well; the building used to be a cinema theater. There are often various art exhibitions held in the same building as the restaurant, and it also features a library on the top floor, although I haven't had the chance to visit it yet. P.S. The food is so delicious that I even forgot to take a picture of it. However, I do have some pictures of their desserts.

I love this place. The food I got was really good (chilaquiles mixto with chorizo), the Italian soda was great, and coffee was good. Orange juice was sour and only thing not good. The atmosphere and service were great and I’ve never had better WiFi internet at any business— it was perfect for 1-2hours of work on my computer.

I come here every time I’m in gdl for the Pollo San Ciro. It’s SO delicious with the chipotle sauce on the side. I highly recommend stopping in and ordering this dish. One of the best cafes in the city.

Popular with college students and book lovers.I went on a Tuesday afternoon it was quiet and relaxed.they have beer, tequila, coffee, cappuchinos, salads, appetizers,BBQ wings, chicken, hamburgers, lasagna, spaghetti.not much options with pastries but the lemon cheesecake was awesome.they have artesanal beer, smoothies, yogurts, and vodka.not much in traditional mx dishes but this is a modern,artsy,laid-back, hipster place.they have an art exhibition and a public library upstairs.the library is not affiliated with the cafe.the cafe has comfy sofa chairs to relax and read a book.the hard wooden chairs were a little uncomfortable for me but the waiters service made up for my discomfort. If you love food, tequila, art, and books come here.on weekends it gets packed and little louder. But over all I will come back.Free Wi-Fi.

I was looking for a place to have a late breakfast and this place served breakfast late. I started with a latte and followed it with a fruit plate and some huevos rancheros. The latte was good, the fruit plate was amazing, and the huevos rancheros not as good but eatables. The waiter was very uninterested about the service but it wasn't like I wanted him to sit with me and feed me. So I ate in peace and when I was done with the food, he came over and picked up my plates. I finished my latte, asked for the check and left. Overall the food was good, and the service was okay. If you don't mind okay service then I recommend you visit here and enjoy some good food.

Nice & friendly staff, went for breakfast. Wheelchair accessible entrance and toilets which was great. Food and coffee was ok, on the cold side. Nice place to hang out.

Great spot to stop off on Av Juaréz. It’s great for an afternoon beer after exploring El Centro Historico. The staff is why I come back. They are all so kind and friendly. And they treat my dog with love, always getting her a bowl of water when I come in. And the location on the corner allows for a beautiful, consistent breeze throughout the restaurant. I’m going to keep coming back.

Place is not very fancy, but it is very functional for small expos. Nice service and veberages from Café Benito. We were here as part of Expo Viniles

Been here a few times and like the chicken cesar salad. On the weekends the streets get very busy even close streets on Sunday. They have a market with vendors selling clothing and jewelry inside of the building.

It's a good place, not an expensive one and very easy to access. Even the food is good, I find it crowded and with a well environment.

I mostly come here for the atmosphere. It's one of my favorite restaurants downtown. Unfortunately, today I tried the portobello mushroom pasta. It was an absolutely disgusting mess. The sauce is almost water, in consistency, and strangely sugary sweet, not umami. To add insult to injury it took forever to arrive, after waiting forever between greeting and order taking. Oddly the naranjada was extremely sugary too.

I’m visiting GDL for two weeks decided to come here and have a egg Benedict the portion size seem small with no little piece of fruit for 140 pesos that’s about $10 Canadian. I asked to have some hot water because I have my own specialty tea bag and they want to charge me 26 more pesos. REALLY? just for hot water and a splash of milk? Other restaurants gladly give me hot water for free without question and give me refills free. The young male server was very friendly and sweet. Knows some English I was very happy with his service. The place is beautiful specially love the glass/metal doors from floor to ceiling. Would I eat here again - probably not!

I’ve been here couple times but this would be the last time because the quality of the meat was bad. I had a arrachera steak that smelled like old meat. It came with cold breads but there’s no butter or any dipping sauce. Hope I won’t get sick from this steak.

A serious bummer, the ratings were favorable. I had the ceasar salad con pollo, the worst ceasar salad ever! My husband had the lasagna, it was below average in texture and taste!! Papas a la francesa, were blah. Gustavo, our server was really friendly, accommodating and helpful.
