I celebrated my 50th birthday with about forty guests, and it was a wonderful evening. The food was delicious and authentic, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The place was very quaint, reminiscent of a mountain chalet.

Excellent place, in a quiet location, we ate excellent wild boar... I will return

On the day of the snowfall in December 2021, I walked from the village and thought it was closed, but instead I was able to eat polenta and wild boar (tender and delicious). I drank some excellent bottled Bonarda (I took the rest home). A lit fireplace, friendliness, simplicity—what more could you want? Ben HD

A true Milanese trattoria. The wild boar is excellent, and the venison is spectacular. Worth stopping by.

It's a rural trattoria, where you'll still find yourself in a welcoming atmosphere typical of the traditions of the plains. The natural setting, the park, and the river make it a pleasant destination for day trips. The food is authentic and the service is prompt. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. It's a place you'll gladly return to from time to time, throughout the seasons, because here you can see the seasons and the trattoria itself changes and adapts, offering different dishes each time.

I was there drinking on a very hot day like yesterday and the heat was definitely reduced, it was nice and cool and surrounded by greenery

An ideal place for those who love home cooking, the atmosphere is very rustic but the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The menu is limited, but the dishes are well-crafted and the ingredients are of good quality. The price is fair for what you get.

A very picturesque place, large solid wood tables with benches, I imagine that when there are a lot of people you happen to sit down to eat with strangers and I don't mind at all, beautiful large fireplace. At lunch the menu is essential, a first course and two second courses. Tagliatelle with ragù and cotechino with lentils, the tagliatelle were not homemade but I ate them willingly, the cotechino was also good. The service was fast and friendly, the owners willingly make exchanges with customers. Overall a good experience.

He rode in motion with the Nebia, he and I loved him. A stop, the journey and a quick chat. What else? If you want more?

The place, on a branch of the Ticino River, is a full immersion in nature. People come here to enjoy (outdoors in summer, indoors in front of a lovely fireplace in winter) simple and authentic cuisine, without frills but with substance: platters of cured meats and cheeses, rabbit or wild boar with polenta as the main dishes, at still, or almost, reasonable prices.

The location is beautiful, on the banks of the Ticino river in the Motta Visconti area, the Easter lunch wasn't bad all things considered, but given the chilly weather (it was really cold) in the shade, and the restaurant is surrounded by very tall oak trees, I would have expected a little more attention towards the customer: that is, setting the tables towards the sunny part of the lawn, or lighting the fireplace inside or putting 2/3 mushrooms which would have defused the situation. Eating in the cold makes you pass off anything as mediocre apart from feeling unwell, and for the final bill paid, 3 stars are perhaps too many, I don't know if I'll go back. I hope the managers evaluate it well and don't repeat this disgrace again.

We decided to have lunch at this trattoria nestled in the greenery on the edge of the Ticino Park, but without reading the reviews. There's no menu with prices, so the very kind lady tells you the daily specials verbally. The result: two mediocre appetizers, two main courses, one affogato, water, and acetic house wine, over €100. If it weren't for the outing with my furry friend, they would have managed to ruin my Sunday. Speechless... More than a lunch, I'd dare say it was a rip-off, considering the less-than-exceptional ingredients.

The staff are very kind, but unfortunately the food is a bit lacking, and the prices (in my opinion high) make matters worse. We ordered appetizers of cured meats and cheeses for €10 each, and so far so good (high prices for what they brought us). Then we had wild boar and polenta (low quality) and a cutlet (even lower quality). The wine in bulk was expensive and low quality. Breadsticks in the basket, expired two months ago. Cost €55 for two.

Posto immerso in un luogo poco accogliente e pieno di zanzare. Le persone sono accoglienti ma servono con lentezza. La sorpresa più grande è alla fine: il prezzo. In pratica è come essere in centro a Milano. Da non ripetere!

Manager of rare rudeness and misogyny: when asked "Do you have a menu" he answers my mother "Madam, calm down, it's Sunday and you don't have to go to work tomorrow" as if she were his sister. Vegetarian options non-existent. Unspeakable slowness even just to come and tell us the menu, obviously without indicating the price. It's the second time we fall for it but it will never happen again.

It's a shame that a place like this, with such great potential so inexplicably underused, is managed this way. If it weren't for the bucolic location, I'd never return. As they say, he who has the bread...

Terrible experience. The menu wasn't presented; we were simply told the daily specials. Since it's a weekday restaurant with a fixed menu, one might expect a medium-low price. We ordered two half-liter plastic bottles of water, two appetizers with cured meats and cheeses, and two portions of wild boar with a plate of polenta and a coffee. Total: €75. I'd say it's a bit too much for the location and the amount of food we were served. Wild boar cost €17 per dish. Never again.

Trattoria recommended by a local. The location is promising... nestled in the Ticino Park. Friendly staff, but the food is poor quality. There's no menu... the lady explains the dishes, and obviously doesn't mention the price... but given where you are (it's a basic trattoria, after all), you don't expect to pay €16 for a braised beef (3 slices) and a side of parsley-wrapped potatoes (about 8 cubes... €5). Mushroom risotto... which tasted like stock cubes, and there was only one mushroom. Conclusion: Nice place, but prices are too high... one appetizer, one first course, two second courses with sides, and water... €70 seems excessive. For the quality offered, at another trattoria for this price you could have had two full menus.
