Un ristorante straordinario! L’ambiente è estremamente piacevole, curato nei dettagli e capace di mettere subito a proprio agio. Il cibo è semplicemente buonissimo: ogni piatto è preparato con grande attenzione e si sente la qualità degli ingredienti. Ma ciò che rende questo posto unico è il personale, sicuramente il più gentile di tutta Bergamo. Sono stata accolta con una cortesia rara e mi sono sentita coccolata dall’inizio alla fine. Grazie di cuore!

Tutto perfetto! Il locale è molto caratteristico, in centro (consiglio in Bergamo sempre i parcheggi a pagamento per la cena/sera) e il proprietario, con le cameriere, sono molto cordiali. Il cibo è caratteristico, molto buono, improntato sulla carne. Assolutamente consigliato

Che dire? Ormai è una tappa imperdibile quando andiamo a Bergamo. Ristorante di cucina tradizionale, proprietario e camerieri cordiali, sempre sorridenti. Ottimo l’ antipasto con formaggi e salumi, i primi (casoncelli superlativi), bistecche sempre cotte come da richiesta, erano deliziose. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Era assolutamente delizioso! È stato meraviglioso gustare cibo preparato con tanta cura. Lo scarpinocchio profumava di erbe aromatiche e i casoncelli con pancetta erano deliziosi. È bello essere in un posto dove si respira l'atmosfera familiare ♥️

E' la seconda volta che scegliamo Ca' Ernesto per una cena, durante una delle nostre trasferte di lavoro a Bergamo. Ho preso una polenta con formaggi e funghi, essendo vegetariana, trovandola deliziosa, e anche la mia collega era davvero soddisfatta dei suoi Casoncelli. Torneremo volentieri!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Casa Ernesto di Ernesto Valenti, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, making me feel right at home. The menu offers a delightful array of dishes that showcase the best of local flavors. The ingredients were fresh, and you could really tell that a lot of care goes into every meal. The service was outstanding as well. The team was attentive and friendly, making excellent recommendations that enhanced my dining experience. In addition to the delicious food, the prices were quite reasonable for the quality offered. I left feeling satisfied both in my stomach and in my wallet. I highly recommend Casă Ernesto to anyone visiting Bergamo. We were in Italy for five days and this was by far the best food we had on the entire trip! The quality was exceptional and the flavours unforgettable. My partner is a cook himself, and he was especially impressed by the sauces accompanying the pastas we ordered. We started with bresaola served with polenta and porcini mushrooms from Valtellina — simply delicious. Then we tried the Polenta Pappardelle al ragù di cinta senese and the Casoncelli alla bergamasca, both of which were fantastic. Meeting Ernesto was also a real pleasure. Everything was just perfect — truly the most memorable restaurant of our journey!

So cozy little hidden gem in Bergamo. The service was excellent and just a friendly neighborhood restaurant. Excellent Casoncelli alla Bergamasca; love that you can see how they put together the desserts. Tried their Wilf boar ragu parpadelle and it was also good.

This is a very laid back restaurant that locals frequent. We had the sliced steak and the polenta with porcini and Grana Padano and the pear and chocolate cake, plus a bottle of Tuscan wine! Loved it all!

We ended up here after our first choice was fully booked—and it turned out to be a fantastic surprise. This restaurant is clearly top of its class. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, and even though we arrived late at night, the place was still buzzing with people, creating a warm and lively atmosphere. The food was amazing, with generous portions, and we had a really lovely evening overall. A great find!

We couldn't get through by phone to book a table - no one answered. But when we arrived at the restaurant, there were free tables. The dishes in the restaurant are very beautiful! The hall is cozy and the waiters are very friendly The pasta was very tasty and unusual. The steak was completely ordinary. The restaurant is very atmospheric with good Italian cuisine. If you're in Bergamo, I recommend checking it out ☺️

How can I describe our night at this wonderful restaurant? It was everything we wanted! The service was outstanding - knowledgeable, loving, attentive, and entertaining. The food was incredible - everything tasted amazing and it was made with so much love. It was our first night in Bergamo and we could not have gotten a better start! I recommend you just let the waiter take control - we let him choose all our courses and the wine = everything was perfect!

Prima volta per noi in questo ristorante che abbiamo scelto per le ottime recensioni. Abbiamo mangiato un tagliere misto e uno di formaggi, a seguire scarpinoc con la pasta troppo fine (io li preferisco con la pasta rustica/spessa) e tagliatelle al cinghiale. Tutto molto buono. Cantucci con vinsanto acqua e una bottiglia di Valpolicella Ripasso. Il tutto per 80€. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/ prezzo. Servizio molto buono e locali puliti. Cose da migliorare: Se si vuole proporre un vino presentando la bottiglia a tavola lasciarla col tappo sigillato (chi la vede col tappo mezzo estratto potrebbe pensare male). Potenziare l' impianto di aspirazione della cucina.

Locale centrale, stile Trattoria semi rustica, con accesso quasi dalla cucina a vista, piccola ma ben organizzata. Ambiente di medie dimensioni con clientela “grande” e molti abituali. Servizio molto cordiale, familiare, e bagno pulito. Oltre al “menù fisso” ci sono parecchi piatti alla carta, buoni e con porzioni adeguate. Da segnalare, specialmente per altri ristoratori, la generosa disponibilità di parmigiano grattugiato presente sul tavolo: basta con queste fredde bustine monodose ( chi stabilisce la dose?) e lasciate che ciascuno metta quanto desidera che tanto non provocherà il fallimento di nessuno…. Prezzo adeguato Meglio prenotare. Consigliato

Cute little hidden gem in Bergamo where we had some Fiorentina steak and pasta. The staff is incredibly friendly and extremely fairly priced. Overall a very enjoyable experience. The steak was a bit overcooked hence the minor deduction but the overall vibe made up for it. The small courtyard also gets some sunlight which creates an enjoyable lunch atmosphere.

A nicely converted building into a restaurant. In the backyard you can sit "under the sky". The service was good. With an increasing number of guests, the two friendly ladies were very busy. The food was delicious. All in all a successful dinner in Bergamo.

Considering the reviews, I had much higher hopes, which were not fulfilled. I only tried The Pappardelle with Wild Boar Ragù, but they were pretty good and the berries on top were a nice touch visually and taste-wise. Then I ate the Casoncelli Alla Bergamasca which were even better. Frankly, they were the best dish out of all four dishes. However, the Rib-Eye Steak with Potatoes was really disappointing. I ordered a medium-rare steak, and even though a lot of the menu included meat, it was raw! I also eat rare, but this wasn't even that. Thankfully, they cooked the steak again and it was finally medium rare. The steak was alright, but the potatoes were undercooked, hard, and bland. Then I ate the Pear-Chocolate Cake and it was REALLY dry and tasteless. The whipped cream with the redcurrant was a great sweet-sour side combination, but even that together with the cake couldn't save it. The service was adequate, though I understand the language barrier played a role. All in all, given the price and expectations, the experience and food was unfortunately underwhelming.

After reading the good reviews of Casa Ernesto, we cancelled another reservation and chose to visit Casa Ernesto instead. We truly regret this. The place has a nice atmosphere and it seemed that all tables were booked, so that was a good sign. A young waitress welcomed us, and she was sweet and gave good advice when ordering. The food was disappointing and mediocre. Of all the places we have eaten in Italy this was the first place we did not get an appetizer. Small thing but an appetizer often gives a good idea of the standard of the kitchen. The servings were very old school and quite boring to look at (no wow effects). Examples are some salat leaves with balsamic and boring / soft fried potatoes. Also adding berries to a beef tartar was strange (and not really good). We ordered still water and it was served in a used bottle! My wife finished her first course first, and while I was still eating my food, her plate was taken by another waitress. Not good standard. The day before we had a huge and fantastic meal at another restaurant for the same price as today (EUR 80) and that included a bottle of wine. Today we only had two small glasses of red wine. So an expensive meal which not lived up to our expectations.

We came here based on the good rating but we were really disappointed. Our waitress was new and had no clue about the wines or the food on the menu. I showed her a photo of the “mushroom carpaccio dish” a few people posted on Google reviews from the restaurant that I wanted to order and she thought it was from the previous menu which was complete nonsense. The steak was really thin and the potatoes were still cold (and reheated). The same with the extra portion of grilled vegetables we ordered. My pasta and our starter of the thin ham and fungi was good. What completely ruined our evening and unacceptable, was the temperatures of their wines. It was standing on a shelf near the kitchen at room temperature which was extremely hot with a daily high that reached 36C. There is only one guy cooking all the food in the kitchen so needless to say, he can’t also fry the roasted potatoes at the same time. We definitely won’t be back and we were very disappointed with our meal.

Siamo stati ingannati dalle recensioni positive. Abbiamo ordinato due diversi piatti di pasta, entrambi pessimi e dal costo di 13 € ciascuno. Le porzioni di pasta erano molto scarse rispetto al prezzo. Il tiramisù era piccolo e costoso. Le foto nelle recensioni non corrispondono affatto al cibo effettivamente servito.

IL CIBO ERA DISGUSTOSO! Una selezione estremamente ridotta di cibo e bevande, dove abbiamo ordinato due tipi di pasta e un tiramisù. Entrambe le paste avevano lo stesso sapore: disgustoso, non c'era carne e le porzioni erano minuscole. Poi è arrivato il dessert, una coppa di panna! Il posto non vale la pena, è piccolo e il cibo è disgustoso!!!!
