I ordered a vanilla latte and a morning sandwich with egg, no tomato on a plain bagel. To say the sandwich was good is an understatement. There was so much flavor in that sandwich. The last bite was just as good as the first. The coffee was fresh and with just the right punch. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this spot! They also have sweet breads every now and then. I can’t wait to bring my family here when they visit!

We got a Vietnamese latte, Mexican mocha, chorizo burrito, and chipotle sandwich for about $26. The sandwich was sooo fresh, flavorful, and practically melted in my mouth. The burrito was smaller than I’m used to, but it was also amazingly seasoned and delicious! Both drinks were smooth, flavorful, and tastefully sweet without being overpowering. The service, atmosphere, prices, and food are all 10/10 and make me want to come back daily.

The people who work there were so nice and the chorizo burrito was incredible. Matcha was authentic and easily customizable. Oatmeal was perfect with fresh fruit. Overall, a deserving 5 stars.

The most decorated, tasty and **affordable** avocado toast in the East Bay!! 👏🏽👏🏽 Plus the coffee is sourced from a women’s collective and the proprietor is frickin’ adorable.

The owners are very welcoming and super friendly. I ordered a lox bagel and coffee and everything was really good. I also got a free piece of banana pudding bread. I definitely recommend stopping by!

Lovely cafe, literally very tiny, with take out during Covid. No outdoor seating yet. There are a few tables and chairs for use when inside seating is allowed by the county. Good coffee, great food, pastry and some in house baked goods. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Near the F, 12 and a bit of a walk from the 88 bus lines. Also, about 2 blocks from Ashby BART Station. If you need to do laundry at Washingtown, this is the place for a good treat while you are waiting. Always an enjoyable experience.

This place is just wonderful. Just moved in to the neighborhood and I don’t know how I will keep myself from coming here everyday for breakfast! Delicious coffee and amazing avocado toast made with love. But the friendly service with a smile is the best part. Thank you, El Tiny! You are El Treasure!

Our whole family LIVES for the Tiny (breakfast) Burritos! I think they’re the perfect size for kids. I usually get two Tiny Burritos for myself - one to eat before work and another as a mid-morning snack. Also love (for myself) the Classico Turkey sandwhich - the aioli is so good. Staff is so friendly. Women-owned & operated.

Was in town visiting friends and El Tiny Cafe was open earlier than the other cafes in the area. I’m glad they were! Fast and friendly service, latte was great, and the breakfast croissant sandwich was delicious! Great little cafe!

I love everyone at el tiny! Great, quick coffee! Delicious pastries! Their tiny burritos are a perfect, cheap filling brekky. Only minor negative point is it feels a little gloomy inside - not sure why, maybe dark walk or low lighting. I’d go more if it was brighter! Also they shut kinda early.

Great little cafe with delicious breakfast options (bagel sandwiches, burritos) and nice coffee! Seems like prices were affordable and a cute, cozy vibe. Also really kind staff, women/Latina owned! Can’t wait to come back

I had an espresso at El tiny which I thought was excellent. I came back and bought a 1 pound bag of coffee the next day. I think it's the best coffee I have ever bought

The coffee and food is delicious! I only paid 25$ for two coffee drinks, a sandwich, and a breakfast burrito. Surprisingly so cheap for the quality! Love this place

Wonderful SMALL coffee shop. They make good strong coffee. Nothing too fancy but it hits the spot. Starker bakery pasteries, bagel sandwiches ( try the basil), and tiny breakfast burritos with a veggies option.

Great little gem, went multiple times while visiting. The atmosphere is cozy and you can tell this place is popular within the community. Will come again the next time I am in Oakland.

I went here almost everyday for three weeks. This was my number 2 spot while i was homeless in berkeley and sleeping at the Ashby Bart Station for three weeks. it was My Morning place. Affordable, but not really, and excellent, well sort of and not really. Community, tiny and quality, but again, not really, if a coffee shop does not care about homeless people then what does that say about the community that supports it Update: I will never support these people again. Another anti homeless hipster coffee shop. I was spending 15 to 20 dollars a day to work out of here and they got mad when i started buying potato chips with my tap to pay. Yeah. I hate this place now as much as the other hipster shop around the corner. Overpriced. $10 avocado toast. Not enough outlets. Ungrateful to loyalty. They want you to spend $15 and leave. No community here. Just business. No real community. Tiny in size and humanity. I will never go back here again. 0 stars. Bagels are old and stale. Some days i paid 10 bucks for avocado toast. Everyday i spent $12+ for coffee. Everyday i got bagels and chips. The only vegan options they offer. Could never get my phone charged though. Not comfortable or ergonomic. Cold draft by the window in winter. Water dispenser is plastic and never full. Pastries are small and overpriced. An obvious capitalist venture. Not a cummunity minded one. Sad. i hate to say this about a local coffee shop but starbucks is 10 times better when it comes to taking care of its customers and respecting them, appreciating them, and servicing them. I happily support evil starbucks corporation of little coffee shops like this who don't communicate with the customers and do not serve them well and with respect. el tiny is both small in size and spirit. hard pass. plenty of other more calm, pleasent and welcoming comfortable coffee shops in the area that will appreciate your money and will allow you to actually work and make some money while you spend money with them.
