We came for brunch and it did not disappoint. The eggs Benedict, and three meat skillet were delicious. The Bloody Mary was probably the best I ever had

My wife and I visited The Flying Egg during our anniversary vacation in Bethlehem, and it was easily one of the best breakfast spots we’ve ever been to. We had seen the great reviews beforehand, and this place absolutely lived up to the hype. Amanda ordered pancakes, and let me tell you—she’s a pancake critic, and even she said they were some of the best she’s ever had. We also shared turkey bacon, which was perfectly cooked and delicious. The eggs were excellent as well. I went for the Short Rib Benedict, and it did not disappoint—the short ribs were plentiful and tender, the sauce was flavorful, and the home fries… oh my goodness, the home fries were outstanding. The drinks were just as impressive. We tried the breakfast margarita, pumpkin spice martini, rumchata hot chocolate, and Bloody Mary, and every single one was 10/10. Boozy in the best way—flavorful without being overpowering. What really made the experience special, though, was the staff. Our server Alexis was incredibly attentive, kind, and thoughtful. She even surprised us with a little anniversary platter topped with fruit and whipped cream, which meant so much to us. Overall, The Flying Egg is a must-visit in Bethlehem. Between the amazing food, creative drinks, and warm hospitality, we couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate. If I’m ever in Bethlehem again, I’ll definitely be back!

First time at The Flying Egg in Bethlehem. We fell in love with the food and the atmosphere. Their Bloody Mary was the best in the Valley, hands down. This place is a must, and is a new go-to for delicious breakfast. Make a reservation! This place is hoping!

This past Saturday, I enjoyed a late lunch at The Flying Egg, and I just have to give praise to the cook who made my chicken and waffles. It was incredibly delicious—definitely one of the highlights of my weekend. Would highly recommend!

What I love about this place is that they are open 7 days a week which is becoming more of a rarity these days in the Lehigh valley restaurant business. Foods and service were good but the latte art could use some improvement. Nevertheless, It was a good experience so will definitely return again.

Cozy and very elegant staff is amazing and friendly. Food has amazing flavor no need to add anything to your food. Very diverse atmosphere and welcoming to everyone. Service is fast coffee is amazing. Best steak and eggs I have tasted in awhile. Will be going back again.

Delicious, high quality, and friendly. I actually was super surprised at how perfect the late was. I ordered the candied apple french toast. Syrup was provided at the table, but I didn't really need it because it was practically perfect as is. And the home fries had the perfect seasoning They aren't your regular baked potatoes. Then again I asked for onions and peppers so maybe that was the magic.

Friendly and fast service on a Monday morning - lots of seating available. Environment was charming and quaint, perfect for going with friends or even solo like I did! Although my scrambled eggs, avocado, and home fries were a simple order, it all tasted delicious! The home fries were an amazing flavor and cooked perfectly. Overall would highly recommend!

Very pretty place! Great food! Perfect portions. Quality of food was very good. And I MUST say - they have a talented chef in the kitchen for sure. I love poached eggs and you can tell whoever made these dishes it freestyle (not a poacher), which is hard! 😊👍🏻. Adding it to the list of regular spots for sure!! 5 stars all the way!!

Amazing food! I had the cinnamon roll French toast and breakfast potatoes. They were excellent. We brought our two toddlers and the restaurant had comfortable high chairs for them. It is a smaller establishment and by the time we got our food, it was starting to get crowded (not unexpected on a Sunday morning). Highly recommend this place, though fair warning, it is in the pricier range.

Great experience. Visited for a bday brunch and left completely satisfied. The service was great, super friendly, and attentive. The food was delicious and plenty to choose from. There is plenty of space inside for a small party or a larger party. Meter paid street parking.

The Flying Egg was such a cute place. We love that it had outside seating. Wish we could've used it bit it was raining. The inside was super cute! Waitress was very friendly and attentive! Coming from put of town, I'm so glad we found this place. Tons of options on the menu and we even got food to go for later! The home fries are perfect!!! And my pumpjin spice latte was so cute and delicious!! Definitely recommended this place!

Good food reasonably priced. Server Ashlynn was great. At our table a breakfast burrito, a works omelette, and an eggs Benedict. All were great. Also a caramel Irish coffee, a breakfast sangria and coffee, again all great. A bit loud but expected with a packed house and low ceilings. Treat yourself to a breakfast there in an original brick wall establishment. Recommend you make a reservation for weekends. Clean dining area and restrooms and nice employees.

This is a beautiful spot to eat. They have a full breakfast & lunch menu with an alcohol menu as well. We had excellent service and the food was chef's kiss! I had the Cali omelet with a winter mule. Parking is very limited, but the garage nearby is affordable. Highly recommend stopping in and enjoying the cuisine and atmosphere. It really feels like you're in a "hallmark" movie.

Had a brunch date with a girlfriend. We had several mimosas and enjoyed our brunch plates. Service is excellent, speedy, the portion sizes are good ratio to the price. Bright and lively atmosphere. Looking forward to returning.

Tried this for the first time after always opting for Billy's. I was extremely satisfied. It's a unique spot, but nice decor. Service was friendly and the food was amazing. Not many spots have huevos rancheros, (hence Billy's) this spot did. I opted for the meat skillet though, was a tough choice. The potatoes, cheesy biscuit and poached eggs hit the spot. The cappuccino was also great and so was liquored coffee, forgot the name but it was green. Parking in this area is always rough but there are options. I will definitely be back as it's nice to have another non typical (diner) breakfast spot in the rotation.

My mom and I came here for an impromptu brunch this past Saturday. It was our first time, but definitely not our last. We've had the most amazing server (Goose). Not only did she provide excellent service, but she did so with a bright, beautiful, and joyful personality, which made the experience at this establishment even better. We have had a vanilla oatmilk latte, oatmeal cappuccino, The Meats Omlett with Sweet Potato Fries, and The Flegg Sandwich with French Fries. The food was absolutely delicious!! We can't wait for our next meal and experience at the Flying Egg!!

Loved the ambience, customer service, and for sure the food. They do have indoor and outdoor seating available. The parking is the only issue (metered street parking could be a challenge depending on the day/time). You can pay for parking via an app or online. They have high chairs for kids. Will come back again with more friends!!!

The flying egg was extremely cozy and the staff was very sweet. The unsweetened tea was perfect. My french toast with whip cream and fresh berry was amazing. You must visit and eat some yummy food .

What a delightful eatery. It was a nice spring day so we dined al fresco. Best tasting coffee I've had in a long time. Extremely reasonably priced. A short walk up and down the street brought us to the eclectic town of Bethlehem with lots of shops. Would highly recommend.

Came here to eat today and the food is great! Alittle pricy for add ons but the food itself are large portions so about $11 per dish isn't bad at all. The loaded tater tots were also made with fresh cheese and tasted amazing! Nice little spot, would reccomened this place to eat at if you're stopping by Bethlehem.

The eggs benedict was delicious. So was the French toast. Not too sweet and full of flavor along with fresh berries. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

So, we just went here. The restaurant was loud and not my favorite kind of ambience but our waitress was a sweet girl. Attentive, polite. I got the cinnamon roll French toast with caramelized apples and bananas. Bacon& homefries with peppers and onions. Best French toast in the area. Finally, cinnamony, buttery, moist goodness with a DELICIOUS side of cinnamon butter… the caramelized apple and bananas were to die for. I didnt even need to use syrup. Home-fries with peppers and onions were cooked well, crispy, seasoned. Not mushy or wet. The bacon was crisp and not fatty or soft. I also had a very well made bloody mary. I like my bloody mary spicy and pulpy and it was thick and delish. I will def be coming here for my french toast and morning cocktail fix. Kudos to the chefs! Thank you!

We came here after we found out our regular spot was closed for the day, and I'm so glad we did. Everything we had was absolutely delicious, especially our Chicken and Waffles and Three Meat Skillet. Even the fresh orange juice tasted really good. The service was very nice, and the atmosphere made us feel very cozy. Wonderful place for breakfast to lunch, will definitely come back here again.

We absolutely loved this place, we had the three meat skillet and I can say is one of the best breakfast I’ve had, absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was really nice, the service was also good. We don’t live there but that’s gonna be a mandatory stop every time we visit.

Place was really nice , right on Main Street. Quiet , dim lighting and relaxed back atmosphere . Menu is all breakfast and lunch items. I had a great spinach and cheese omelet either English muffin and home fries. My granddaughter ordered a french toast but said it was too sweet for her.

Alot of breakfast options ( including vegetarian and vegan). The food was fresh and portions were average size. Staff was friendly. They also offer cocktails.

Great breakfast restaurant with an excellent atmosphere where you can dine inside or outside on the sidewalk of Main Street Bethlehem. The service was good and the organic inspired food was very good. We had the eggs and also the banana French toast with freshly squeezed orange juice. The order wait time was 45 minutes - a bit too long for breakfast serving and was the only negative we experienced otherwise would have given five stars.

This is a great little breakfast only place right on the Main Street of historic Bethlehem. Outdoor seating was nice, although I wish the chairs were a little bit better. The food I found to be very high quality and reasonably priced. Service was good, no complaints there. Check open and close times before you go because they do close early in the afternoon.

Came here a few weeks ago for breakfast before enjoying the Christkindlmarkt. Such a cute place! Food: the food was really really good. My wife got a salmon Benedict I believe which I really enjoyed and I got a waffle with caramelized apples, which was delightful. Aesthetic: trendy breakfast spot with really cool lights in the back coming out of mugs. Service: service was OK at best, girl seemed bothered to be helping us, but it was a very busy Saturday.

We enjoyed our time. Service was very good as they had a lot of people working. The food quality is good while the portion size could be larger. Very clean and great for an alcoholic beverage in the morning. Check out the menu. Another great place to eat in Bethlehem.

Let’s start with, the place is very small. And the tables are not really big enough for you food. I ate breakfast here with my wife, the food was good but not what I was expecting. The customer service was friendly, which I always love good customer service. Our food came out pretty fast. For me, this is not a place I will come to every week or even every month but once in a while, I would probably return. I enjoy supporting local businesses.

Tuesday morning breakfast. Got seated and food quickly. Nice outside dining spot in historic Bethlehem. Server was nice and friendly. Huevos Rancheros was good, I would order it again. Waffle was not good. I would not order it again. Rubbery and chewy; hard to even cut. Not crisp. Banana topping looked delicious but bananas were green and didn’t taste ripe or sweet.

Cute place really loved it here. Food was on spot and they also have alcoholic drinks. I highly recommend going here they also have vegetarian options. My bf enjoyed his meal as well! My bf got South of the Border and it looked delicious. He recommends it.

We were so excited to come and try this place but were left a bit disappointed! No worries, the pancakes were very fluffy and yummy, the eggs Benedict was good but the waffle was very thin and dry. I saw people sitting having mimosas but I had no idea about them or I would’ve had some! Hot chocolate was pretty and very chocolatey. It seemed a bit busy but our food took an hour to come out after ordering which was a little frustrating as it was very cold in there. Cute atmosphere but I would have enjoyed it more if I knew about the mimosa!

First time here and the service was phenomenal! We ordered the huevos rancheros(4/5) needed more pico de gallos and the avocado was so small. Eggs Benedict was awesome! Pancakes were super thick and fluffy and steak with eggs were heavily seasoned and didn’t really enjoy. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. Loved it all

Tried this place for the first time with my girlfriends. We had reservations for 1030 am. It is first come first serve for a booth in which that is what we requested since we were also doing a gift exchange. The placed is very small inside and the tables are very close together so you are sitting on top of eachother. I believe our intial waitresses name was Megan and we brought it to her attention that we requested a booth and she had said there was another party of 10 coming in and that they were not able to give us a booth. The waitress got really snooty with my friend in which she had to sit and the end of the table. It was like she was in the middle of everyone as they were walking through the area. So long story short we ended up with another waitress her name was Honesty super sweet super nice. She apologized for what had happened and offered us the booth. The food was good we didn't have to wait long at all. I had to say the food wasn't really hot. They charge $2.25 for literally 1 peice of toast you would think you would get 2 peices for that. I would go back again and try something else but was disappointed with the first waitress and how we were treated by her. The booths that we requested ended up with 2 private parties when she claimed that there was a party of 10 and that we couldn't sit there.

server was less than welcoming. come here times before & always get the loaded tots. it was my friends birthday so I ordered one for the table. these were our loaded tots…

Food and sweets are not bad at this local breakfast place. Waited 40 mins for the food to come on a Friday morning.

Very disappointed. Have had good service in the past but this time was awful. The wait for food was an hour and everyone around us was receiving the same service. Long wait and mixup in orders. My server got our entire order wrong and then charged me extra for the wrong items. She had no clue what the difference was between scrambled eggs and an omelette. The food was cold. I was so frustrated I just wanted to pay the bill and get out. The staff and perhaps the kitchen need to learn the menu a bit more. I will not be returning anytime soon.

My party of 4 received horrible service. I hate to write a bad review but James didn’t even serve us water or refill our coffee, nor checked on us. We had to ask for our utensils after being served our meals… I understand it can be super busy but to not even bring water or utensils until asked was pretty crazy. Other than that the food was good!

I don’t normally write reviews but felt this needed to be shared in hopes that management will make appropriate changes to how they clean their dishes. To start with the positives of our experience, our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. We came here for lunch on a Sunday and it was pretty busy but our wait for a table was only about 20 minutes. For the not so positive aspects of our experience, the food was average. I got the waffle with caramelized bananas, the bananas were good but the waffle was thick, doughy, and not very crispy. I also got the hand cut fries which were fine. My fiancé got the south of the border Benedict which he said was fine but nothing special. The main issue and the reason I’m writing this review is that my fiancé also ordered coffee and while he was drinking it I noticed there was a lipstick stain on the mug. I thought it might be permanent but I tried wiping a bit away and it came right off. This makes me think that the dishes are not really washed but rather rinsed or quickly dunked. This is pretty unacceptable and very unsanitary. We’re not confrontational people and didn’t want to make more work for our server when it was already busy so we didn’t mention it at the time but felt this should be shared.

The food was great however the cleanliness was disappointing. The knives were not properly cleaned. There were crumbs in my water and I had to ask for a new one but it tasted very weird.

When you walk in, the place has a cozy and welcoming vibe, which I really liked. We had a reservation and got seated right away, but the restaurant itself feels pretty outdated. The booth we sat in had ripped cushions and it was crowded and a bit messy. Service was slow but understandable since it was busy. Our server was very sweet and checked on us often, which I appreciated. The food was just okay and didn’t sit well with me afterward. Overall, the experience was fine but not great. I probably wouldn’t come back since there are better breakfast spots in the area.

Terrible experience, went during a non-busy time on a Thursday. Staff was rude when we walked in. Mugs were dirty, and the residue could be wiped away using my finger, so we knew the mugs weren't clean. My partners mug had only hot water in it for tea which had a bunch of the residue floating through the water. We asked the waitress for a new, clean mug and pointed out the floating debris in the water only to be brought the same mug but with new water in it. When our food was brought out they had got the order wrong, and the food looked microwaved. My eggs were grey, and once we went to eat we realized we never got utensils. Waitress seemed bothered to have to help us, and after waiting at our table for an extended period of time had to walk up front to ask for the check.

E
Elizabeth Han

The food is not good. Thickest waffle I’ve ever had, it was so thick it was hard to eat. The brisket Benedict - brisket had the taste of chipped beef. Home fries were not yummy. There was nothing French about the French toast, simply tasted like pieces of bread piled on top of each other. The hot chocolate was canned whipped cream on top of lukewarm milk with Hersheys syrup. Service was great! Our waitress was wonderful.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant and will not be returning. I chose this location to celebrate a special occasion, expecting a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, but instead was made to feel uncomfortable and disrespected. During our visit, a server named Mary (or at least that is the name given to me by the manager on duty, Hailey, during the February 8th shift) approached my sister, who is a minor, and me in an aggressive and confrontational manner. She accused us of taking photos of her based on a claim from another coworker. This accusation was completely false. I had taken a photo of my mimosa, which included only my drink and my sister no staff members or customers. In a restaurant where guests frequently take photos of their food and drinks, this confrontation was unnecessary, unprofessional, and entirely inappropriate. I was simply enjoying time with my sister and hadn’t even noticed this server prior to being approached. Being accused so aggressively in a public dining setting over something so harmless is unacceptable. The interaction completely ruined our experience. We felt so uncomfortable that we ultimately decided to leave, despite our food arriving at the same time the incident occurred. For a restaurant that serves brunch and cocktails, treating guests as though taking photos of their own food or drinks is unacceptable is unreasonable. The lack of accountability following such a serious incident ensures that I will not be returning. Horrible, experience although I will note that our actual server was very kind and friendly.

We've heard great things about this place and decided to give it a try, turns out we should have went elsewhere. Sat for 30 minutes without anyone taking our order, meanwhile two couples came in 20 minutes after us and had there order taken before us. Waitress finally takes our order, only for that to take an hour to come out. Meanwhile the two couples were already done with their food before we even got ours. Really just an awful experience.

This was my second time going to The Flying Egg. My family and I like to do brunch on Sundays and this month, we decided to come here. They were swamped with people. The place is very tight on the inside so people are typically a foot away from each other. Our server Hailey was nice and kept apologizing. I think they were understaffed. It took a while to get drinks, even water took about 20-30 minutes. I think servers were also making drinks. I felt bad but that changed once we got our food. We asked another person if they could take some things off the table. It was five of us and it was super tight. The young woman snatched the item off the table and rolled her eyes. I felt it was extremely distasteful. I understand the rush of the day but that shouldn’t change the attitude you have for paying costumers. I will not be returning, I just was not happy the second time around.
