Parakeet Cafe Beverly Hills Reviews
Stopped into Parakeet Cafe at 3 pm for the first time. Was greeted by a super friendly employee, Jacob, who helped me pick out a yummy dish. I went with the bowl and added Salmon. It was DELICIOUS! He came by to check in on me and even surprised me with a Blueberry Scone. I am so happy to have found this new place- and even more excited that there is one near my home in Brentwood.
Fantastic food and even better service. There’s a gentleman that works there that goes above and beyond for customers and is so incredibly kind. If you’re looking for healthy food options sans refined sugars and seed oils, Parakeet Cafe is the place for you!
The food is amazing and everyone at the restaurant has been so kind and inviting. The gluten free options are better than I’ve had anywhere else. Great flavor profiles, delicious and health focused.
4.4 out of 5.0 overall. We had excellent service when we were there from the greeting, ordering, coffee refills, delivering of food and clearing. Liked the vibe of the cafe, very clean (it was morning before the rush) throughout, bright & cheery with nice decor. Overall food was good but I wouldn't say excellent. All generally tasty and while they are creative in their combinations I'd say it lacked that next level. Still, good prices and good food meant for value. Coffee was great. Nice kids menu for good prices and healthy options. Tons of great baked goods they make 'in-house' from their san diego location and deliver daily. Lots of good reasons to come back again
Fantastic service and food! I loved my time there. I personally went with the Belgian Waffle and grabbed a chocolate biscotti and a blue spriuluna, lime, alkaline water drink 👌
Great spot to hang out at! I just wish there were more plugs so it was easier to stay and get some work done for an extended time.
First time coming here for lunch with my toddler and dog. Servers were incredibly kind. People come here to do work inside, but can also enjoy a meal outside. Got a grass fed burger on a super fluffy brioche with a delicious salad option. Loved their beverage menu and options, I got a hot honey vanilla matcha with pistachio milk. I also got a side of beet smoked salmon (it was bright pink) and they added fresh dill, it was incredibly tasty. Loved the bakery options and grab-n-go snacks available on their shelf. So much to offer! This place is also seed oil free. Will be back to try more, saw they had a kids menu on my way out :)
I really liked coming to the cafe the last time we visited but wasn’t sure if delivery would be just as good. They did not disappoint! Delivered right to my hotel in Beverly Hills . Delicious .
Parakeet Café in Beverly Hills is a welcome surprise transcending dietary labels. Im not vegan but loved their plant-based menu items and exceptional coffee. The café’s commitment to quality is evident--I love the free soda and filtered water on tap and the real glassware provided for drinks. Enough drinking and eating out of plastic! The menu is a vibrant tapestry of flavors and textures. The non-Vegan “All I Avo Wanted” dish - blue corn waffle topped with smashed avocado, feta, a perfectly cooked over-easy egg, chili flakes, hemp seeds, and salsa macha, is ahhhmazing. The “Parakeet Bowl,” a hearty mix of brown rice, roasted mushrooms, sesame collard greens, pickled cucumbers, and almond butter miso mayo, offers a satisfying and flavorful experience. For those departing from all veg aspects - the “Best Burger Ever” lives up to its name with grass-fed Australian beef, organic cheddar, caramelized onions, and house-made pickles on a brioche bun...mmhmm. The beverage selection is equally impressive. Their locally roasted coffee beans shine in drinks like the Honey Cinnamon Latte and the Lavender Matcha Latte. For a wellness boost, the Blue Magic Latte, infused with reishi, ashwagandha, spirulina, and honey vanilla--tasty even though I mainly steer clear of sweet in my coffee. Parakeet Café’s ambiance is bright, stylish interior (too bright???) with bold parakeet wallpaper that would make my grandma proud. All in all a nice enough and certainly welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. In a city loaded with dining options, Parakeet Café sets itself apart with its commitment to quality, sustainability, and flavor. It’s a place where both vegans and non-vegans can find dishes to love, making it a worthy addition to anyone’s list of go-to spots in Beverly Hills.
I loved it, for breakfast everything was perfect. Must try the cappuccino. Avocado bread was so delicious and was presented in an artistic way. The scrambled egg was done exactly the way I wanted to be the labneh side was tasty.
I have gone to parakeet cafe several times since moving to LA. The con is that it is ridiculously expensive but … the food is amazing, fresh, delicious (for the most part). I especially love the green eggs dish. I wouldn’t ever thought to add green beans in eggs but it’s so good. I did order the charcoal waffle once and it was super dry. Maybe the food quality depends on what you get. The staff here is nice enough and there’s free water and sparkling water!!

This place is super charming. And what a menu The service is great! Very attentive and kind staff. I ordered the lavender matcha latte so good. Also I highly recommend the Benedict. So flavorful, filling, and fresh. Can’t wait to return here. A great addition to the neighborhood
We love the service and location and most of all the food! Best coffee in LA, hands down! The best açaí bowls I’ve ever had! I can’t say enough great things about this place and the staff!! We wish they’d open one in Palm Beach, Florida.
Terrific! Food/coffee/space is great but what’s most important is the customer service. That is what keeps me coming back. Hector is friendly, kind and attentive. He’s a great manager! You can tell because the team is great too!
I always love coming into Parakeet. My studio is right next door so it’s my (and many of my clients) go to! I love the Matcha Americana, poke bowl, the squash soup, and the vegan chocolate chip cookie the most. Love that some desserts use no refined sugars. And my daughter is obsessed with the kids açaí bowl and chicken and rice. As great as the food and drinks are, the employees are even better. Heaps considerate, friendly, and helpful!

A Must go for French experience. Pleasant atmosphere. Very creative and great menu. However: the truffle mushroom scramble omelet is very salty. It kills the taste.of.the other food you are eating. Sounds expensive, but the spring water is of no charge. It ends up to be reasonably priced for a fun experience.
This cafe will fool you coming in, the atmosphere is not wow, nor is the service level and interaction. But wait till you get to the good part, the food is seriously good, fresh and full of taste. The French Omelette sandwich is a great combination of fresh greens, eggs and the rest of delicious amenities. The Best burger ever is actually one of the best burgers ever 😁, juicy, great sauce and perfect caramelized onions. I think the grilled chicken sandwich was the least of our favorites. To end with, the salmon toast was a very refreshing sandwich, the salmon is beetroot flavored salmon,, a nice twist. I think these guys have really worked on the details and food, so takeaways should be on fire. Ohh and the coffees were great 👍.
Really beautiful and aesthetic cafe, I loved the vibe and the interior design. The service was okay, the waiter wasn’t smiling and looked tired and didn’t feel the most welcoming and accommodating but was mellow and served us what we needed. It was empty on a Sunday afternoon, there’s a lot of pastries. It’s a bit pricey and if you want to add protein like chicken or salmon they charge you $10+ which is insane, I feel like they should add chicken on some of the bowls or salads but it’s an extra cost. The food on the menu all sounds appealing though, super yummy! I got the harvest toast and the heirloom tomatoes tasted really fresh. I got a sunny side up eggs on the toast and it was good. It’s a order at the cashier and sit down with a table number cafe. Would come back for the vibes, food is pretty average for LA cafes, it’s good food!
Food was great but what was really amazing was their freshly brew drip coffee- I was curious which brand of beans they used. Very lovely atmosphere as well.

It was one of the most unpleasant food experiences I've had in LA. The coffee was burned and tasted bad. My Shakshouka had extremely overcooked eggs, and the overall taste was strange. The only thing I could eat was the bread. My husband ordered a burrito, and it was a mess. Pictures attached. He said it was gross. Now it’s clear why on Saturday morning this place is empty.

We went in to order some teas while it was raining. One of the waiters was unfriendly and unhelpful. It’s a shame to see such little willingness to create a positive experience — I much prefer staff with a positive attitude.
