I’ve hit Urth Café in Downtown LA, Santa Monica, Orange, and Hawthorne… so yeah, I’m not “recommend-and-never-go.” I actually show up. 😄 Today was one of those productive days — work stuff, a business meeting, then dinner at Urth Caffé Beverly Hills to close it out. This time I went with the lasagna. And I’ll be straight: I wasn’t blown away the way I was with their salmon eggs benedict (that one still lives rent-free in my head). The lasagna was still good — warm, comforting, solid — but the zucchini pieces in there threw me for a second. Not bad… just not what my brain expects when I order lasagna. Classic moment of “maybe I should’ve actually read what I’m ordering.” 😂🤦♂️ The vanilla latte, though? Exactly what I like about Urth — consistent. Smooth, not burnt, not overly sweet, and that clean espresso taste is there. You can tell they don’t treat coffee like an afterthought. The vibe was what you’d expect for Beverly Hills: people chatting, working, meeting up — it feels busy but still calm. Perfect place to sit, talk, and not get rushed. One real downside: parking. It was annoying. If you’re coming here, plan for a little hunt, or be ready to walk a bit (especially at peak hours). Overall: 5 stars. Not every dish is going to be your “favorite of all time,” and that’s fine — the consistency, the atmosphere, and the experience still deliver. I’m on a mission to try more of the menu… and I’ll keep you posted.
It was yummy and quick service we went in a rainy day and sat by the fireplace. I got a few sides for my child and I got the smoked salmon pizza and a latte and juice. It hit the spot.

I really enjoyed my time at Urth Caffé Beverly Hills. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, great for sitting and chatting. The coffee tastes great and the pastries and desserts are also very fresh and delicious. The staff was polite and the service was fast. This cafe is a really nice place to go for good coffee and light meals in Beverly Hills.
Excellent Flavor... The patty melt was what I ate first and the flavors and textures came together beautifully... The pumpkin pie was one of the best pumpkin pies I have had in terms of flavor... Juice was fresh squeezed... the espresso was nice and dark... Pros: Excellent Flavors, Variety of seating, Friendly staff.
We braved a hard, pouring rain for breakfast here and, despite the wet wait, it was ultimately worth it. The crowds are real, this is a very popular spot with limited space, so expect a long queue, especially on weekends or holidays. Once inside, the reward is beautiful and delicious food. Their cakes and pastries are absolutely stunning and taste just as good as they look. We ordered several dishes to share and everything was fresh, high-quality, and satisfying. The main challenge was the practical side: the combination of a small space, big crowds, and our unfortunate timing with terrible weather made the initial experience quite difficult. Standing in line outside in the pouring rain is no joke. That said, the quality of the food and the unique ambiance shine through. If you go, maybe pick a sunnier day, be prepared for a wait, and you'll be rewarded with a truly lovely meal.

There could be a little bit wait depending upon the time of the day, but you can browse the menu during this time.

Was visiting and staying nearby with a friend and wanted to grab some coffee. It was a Friday mid morning and pretty busy with the hustle and bustle and regulars coming in to get their smoothies or lunch break. You wait in line with everyone to order for both sit down and take out then can find a seat. I got a hot Spanish latte small which was creamy and sweet. I also got an almond croissant to eat while waiting and a large fresh watermelon juice to go. Nice spot to sit either outside or inside and order or work remotely from there. Service was efficient and friendly!
Visited for Sunday brunch and ordered a matcha latte, cappuccino, and the wild mushroom pizza. Unfortunately, they were out of pancakes which was a bit of a letdown—but the food we did get was absolutely delicious. We sat outdoors by the fire heater, which made the experience cozy and pleasant. As always, the place was bustling with energy and full of life - a lively spot that’s consistently a favorite.

A friend recommended Urth Caffé in Beverly Hills, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the chicken salad — it was okay, nothing particularly memorable but still decent. The café itself has a nice atmosphere and the location is great if you’re in the area.
Good food, good coffee, & wifi is available. It rained when we were sitting outside but they said they can’t open the umbrellas so we had to find a spot inside but there is limited seating indoors so we had to stand to eat on the counter by the window. They have heating available inside and outside so it’s pleasant wherever.
December 2025: Stopped by for a late lunch on a Sunday. The place was very busy. Ordered the pot roast beef sandwich and the kale salad 🥗. I'd say the pot roast beef sandwich was the best thing I ate. The salad was okay. The dressing was not tasty. I would prefer the dressing that they used for the side salad on the sandwich. Tables and chairs were a bit filthy because customers leave a mess and the workers don't have enough time to clean tables and chairs properly. Not sure if I would come back again.

Had half tuna sandwich for lunch. Bread was pretty good. Freshly baked French (maybe sourdough) with mediocre salad. Tuna was terrible. Very dry, no seasoning. My friend inhaled his eggs Benedict. Other friend ordered salmon nicoise. Complained it was overdressed. Loved the greens used (big cuts of romaine). Notes: they delivered 2 incorrect dishes to our table but quickly corrected it. The food was average at best: soulless, bland, and unjustifiably overpriced. Being in Beverly Hills is not an excuse for serving mediocrity at a premium. High rent explains prices, not the absence of flavor or effort. The menu is uninspired and generic—nothing you wouldn’t find elsewhere, done no better here. Service was unacceptable. Plates arrived separately, breaking one of the most basic rules of dining. I was almost finished eating before my husband’s dish arrived; my child’s food came even later. That is not “busy,” it is poor coordination and disregard for the table. I fundamentally distrust restaurants that require payment upfront. It usually signals that they know the experience won’t stand up to scrutiny. Once you’ve paid, accountability disappears—if something is wrong, there’s no room for correction, only compliance. That model exists to protect the restaurant, not the guest.

Worst breakfast ever in LA. We were excited about this location as we have been to their other site and we were so disappointed. It wasn't busy but we waited half an hour for an incomplete order. By then our coffee was cold at best. My eggs Benedict were cold and my wife's pancakes never came. She had to cancel her order and received a horrible dry scone. Very disappointed.
