Good food not a bad price
Old school drive in style dinning experience.
Went there yesterday. As soon as we pulled up a very friendly lady was ready to take our order she was very friendly, helpful and nice.
I was wanting a good ole drive in burger. Was not disappointed! And the price was reasonable!
Great stop for lunch. Hand made burger patties. Delicious onion rings. Great service.
You dine in your vehicle. They have a short minue, but if you're craving a down to earth hamburger, this is in my opinion the best in Big Spring Tx. Get the double cheese, with tater tots. Yum!
Good food, great prices. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful, it was very windy when we visited and sat outside to eat but sure didn't skip a beat, very attentive. We enjoy going here any time whether it's for a quick lunch date or with the family.
Adding this back into the burger rotation. The burgers I have had recently came out fast and tasted delicious. I appreciate the consistency. Pricing is with the chains, and id say I’m back to preferring here.
Excellent! Friendly, informed carhop. Hot FAST fresh food! We ordered NINE burgers. They handled it like champs! (under 20 minutes from order to food!!!) One request, please update and answer your phone lines so we can call in our future orders, because we will definitely be coming back!
My frito pie was amazing. way bigger then I imagined. I couldn't stop had to finish it. The drive in isn't well signed, but if you know you definitely know. It is a hidden gem, and the burger was amazing also. Definitely easy to find once you've tasted the food you're gonna remember the food!
I love classic old drive-ins like this, still cooking tried and true recipes that haven't changed for years. I had the Texas Charburger with cheese and added green chiles. The Texas Charburger is seasoned and pressed down on the griddle to develop Maillard reaction, which gives burgers that nice crust and sears in the wonderful flavor, then they cover it with a lid to keep the patty moist.
Delicious old fashioned burger. The tots are highly recommended. Great service.
My only complaint is that the soda mixture on the sprite was off. I will definitely be back food was great and the service was fantastic.
Judging by the name and the recent reviews, we were stopping in for a quick delicious meal on our way through town to New Mexico. Unfortunately, they must have been extremely understaffed because it took OVER ONE HOUR to get our food. We have two little kids that we had to entertain in our truck while we waited and waited and waited. Once we got the food, it was at least hot and tasted home cooked instead of food service, but it should not have taken an hour to get 2 burgers, a grilled cheese, corn dog and some fries.
Decreased quality, increased prices. Definitely not somewhere we visit often anymore. Steak finger basket (3 pc) includes fries and 1 piece of Texas toast and Taco Basket (3) includes 2 onion rings and french fries, total costs $25, then drinks are extra.
Ordered well done and both burgers were medium in the middle. The patty was very thin in some areas and very thick in others. Makes it hard to cook them consistently because of this. We just don’t eat raw burgers and prefer well done as we requested. Fries were not cooked completely so we had to squeeze them with paper towel beforehand. Could happen I suppose if they were slammed busy. But it was a little after 3 pm on a Tuesday they weren’t busy. I’ll say that the tea was good and fresh tasting. Last but certainly not least is $29 for two single patty combos with the drink. AND, you pay additional fees for paying with card. Everything has gone up everywhere but they have priced themselves out of the market imho. Meal, with fees and reasonable tip to the nice young lady would cost you around $38 for lunch. Try it out.
$40 for two burgers and two fries overpriced ridiculous
Don’t know about the food. But the owner is an awful bully on social media. I live in Texas and he is harassing me on social media.
People were saying that wagon wheel had new management and was really good and i was excited to try it ! But i order just a cheese fry and this is what i get .. im sorry but im not impressed, this is literally just fries and cheese no seasoning or nothing and its not warm either almost like it’s been sitting for a while . definitely $5 worth .
