They have some of the best food in town. Their fish is simply delicious. You can get family-sized servings for very economical prices. Need a quick DIY self-catering option? Call these folks! Also, some of the freshest salad you've tried. Hands-down. I bought a family-pack of fish for guests that I did not know were coming over. I needed a quick solution. The guests loved the food so much, one of them called me weeks later wanting info on the restaurant because she started craving the food. Then another person who wasn't at my house that day called asking about it too because the guest was talking about their fish being so good😂 You have to try this restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've been eating here since it was sharks now I live down the road and it's under a new name but the food still tastes the same pretty much. Probably my favorite place to eat in Homewood. Good food, clean and good fast service. I highly recommend trying it! Also the prices are fantastic as well.

Go check them out ...The Cook is AWESOME. I have lived here 4 years and used to order from "Sharks" at least once or twice a month. I am one of those rare people that eat fried chicken liver...it was always burnt before. Like every time!! Not this last time, though...it was so GOOD I almost turned around to get another order! The food was soooo good. I got the Chicken Philly Cheese steak with fried okra!! The chicken was perfectly cooked The Swiss cheese instead of provolone cheese was everything Okra fried sooo good!! This was the best Chicken Philly Cheese Steak!!

This place is at a busy intersection, I've smelled what they're doing for years but never stopped in. Until last week. I'm usually let down when I start craving a place and stop in, but not here. They have a huge menu and can serve up any fish you would want, in a sandwich, poboy or fillets. Catfish, whiting, perch, oysters, wings and more. Very impressive for a joint sharing space with a gas station. I was a little intimidated by the vast menu and chose a catfish poboy combo maybe too quickly. I did love it but I would have preferred some perch fillets just because they're so hard to find anywhere. My point is to really take in the menu, no need to rush, get what you really want. The cook overheard my order and I realized he was starting it before I had paid. There was no line when I got there at 10:50 but they gave me the vibe that they could handle a lunch rush. So don't let a line turn you away, if there ever is one. If any place deserved a line this place does. I will do what I need to do to be near this place at lunchtime in the future. The photo is my catfish poboy combo. Less than $10 and everything was delicious. Kudos

Been in Birmingham for 7 yrs and passed this place countless of times..I never would’ve stopped if I didn’t have a craving for chicken gizzards..Ali was amazing with explaining the menu he was so patient and kind..the blue lemonade is fire..I got my MIL the whiting filets and she loved it..10/10..I highly recommend..I definitely will be back..

i ordered ranch fries and a 10 piece wing, half lemon pepper half honey bbq the lemon pepper wings were SOOO good the ranch on the fries were SOOO good the fries were SOOO good and crispy, the honey bbq wings were sweet. i love the ranch fries and lemon pepper wings. they ate that up

Sharks used to be my go to place for wings, I haven't been since before COVID so this was my first trip back in at like 5 years. I got whole wings, half lemon pepper and half honey gold. Breading on the wings was good and flavor was good, wing itself was kinda bland. Fries were good. Ok for the price. It's just a to-go spot now. There's a small bench for seating while waiting. 6 / 10

They customer service was excellent. But this place gave me food poisoning so eat at your own risk. I ordered the catfish nuggets and felt like I was losing my life the fact that I’m pregnant this has definitely traumatized me. I’m thankful that my baby is ok. But I’ll never eat at this place again.

This is weird. All the good reviews on here. When I ordered a fish plate, there was no one in the place except me yet it took them almost half an hour to fry 3 pieces of fish! The fish was practically inedible after that. What the heck! Not sure about these reviews.

My sis recommended to this spot but I’ll NEVER go again. I ordered the 2 piece whiting fish. When I got it the fish was SUPER overcooked like it had been refried again not crispy but hard cooked not even edible . I took it back inside and told them the problem and showed them. They did remake the order but when I got home the FREAKING fish was half way cooked. I don’t know if they were trying to be smart or what but never again. They suck and a waste of money. Go to Exotic Wings instead

I am absolutely mortified after ordering 2 catfish combos 07/08/2023 and to discover what I was eating was not US catfish. I have eat enough catfish in my life to know this isn’t it. Sharks do better better to the community that supports you. I will never eat at any of their locations again. If you are interested in what the fish is; it may be Swai. A very well known and cheap sub that is passed off to customers as catfish. Google it. Restaurants all over the US have been getting over and add Sharks to the list.
