Mellow Mushroom Bluebonnet Circle Reviews
Been here many times over the years, pizza is out of this world! Service is great! It can get busy and cook times depend on how busy they are, not a deal breaker :)
Definitely enjoyed our night tonight. We brought our little nephew and they brought him some dough so he could smash. After smashing and playing with it they baked it and it was delicious! Service was awesome not only our waitress but the staff as well.
We were visiting for a funeral and had taken our kids to the zoo to do something fun afterwards before heading home. This place hit the spot! Pizza was delicious! Wish we had one in Amarillo! Will definitely visit again in the future!
I review pizza in Fort Worth. Gave this pizza a 5.3 out of 10. It's not my kind of pizza. kind of doughy and I do not like corn meal sand uses instead of flour. but I still give a 5 star. Think the place is more pleasing to the eyes. Wait staff is super friendly and inviting.
My girls and I had such a wonderful time at Mellow! Melina was the manager on duty at the time of our dinner. Neva also took care of us so well! We will definitely be back!
Is more of a pizza place for a healthy choice of all ingredients. They do have some vegetarian dishes. They have gluten free pizza crust. We splurged and did a holy shitake pie, omg it is well blended you could taste all the flavors. The cheese calzone was big enough for 2 or 3 people to eat it. The garlic cheese bread was out of this world good. The bits were so good my hubby darn near ate all they have a cheese sauce to dip them in and it was amazingly good. Everything we ate was taste bud satisfied. The inside of restaurant was clean. There are all kinds of items on walls. Table, booth & bar seating. The fence outside was huge metal flowers. The waitress was great. She was friendly and professional. Prompted service and food. The had the paper straws yo help environment. We were given take out cup for no charge. The atmosphere was outstanding it's likely because the college students go there. If you find yourself in their area stop, eat & relax be pampered. Heck ya all ages will love it. The prices are low for amount of food you get.
Colby was our waiter/cashier. Best person I met in the entire restaurant. He made sure our order was 100% correct and made sure we were satisfied. He even gave me a suggestion on getting the beer cheese for my crust and it was the best decision!! I'll get it every time now. Go Colby!!!!!
Great pizza. Went for lunch with a co-worker. We split the pretzel bites with the Pabst blue ribbon cheese sauce but he didn't have the cheese sauce because he is lactose intolerant ...hmm but he ate pizza that had cheese on it interesting. Anyway in addition to that I had the philosophers pie it had steak, mushrooms olives and artichoke hearts with a garlic olive oil based sause. I dug it.
Atmosphere is typical for a pizza place. What is not typical is the service and the quality. Half of us (our family) are gf and df. They have SO many options! And they taste amazing and the service is outstanding. Y’all will definitely be seeing more of us!
Such great pizza! The crust is literally out of this world!! I love me some Mellow Mushroom - I just wish I lived closer.
Awesome pizza! Best in Fort Worth! Terrific team that makes me feel like family. Highly recommend Mellow Mushroom!
This is my favorite pizza place it’s amazing and you won’t want delivery pizza ever again. Always great food and service.
I came with my sister, niece (12yo), and daughter (6yo) for lunch. They got a cheese pizza and we split a Mighty Meaty and All-White. I had forgotten how much I loved this pizza! The vibe was fun and the kids loved the decor.
Looooove this place!!! Great cs and atmosphere!! We ordered and bruschetta for appetizers and both were so good! Then we ordered two large pizzas one of them with pepperoni Italian sausage and the other was beef and bacon the bacon on the pizza was in slices not crumbled!! My kids loved it... So did mom (Shocking!! Lol)!! Try it out my peeps; you'll love it!!
The restaurant was packed tonight. We were sat very quickly. Our server was running from table to table, yet she remained attentive, helpful, and friendly. Our pizza was absolutely delicious (1/2 Pacific Rim and 1/2 House Special). The small side salad is one of the best around (always love the slices of parmesan). We met the manager also and she was also helpful and friendly. It was a great dining experience and look forward to returning.
Great pizza, fast and friendly service! Great place for family lunch
Our first visit in a long time. Greeted and seated right away. Service was very good and we experienced an issue with one entree and both the server and manager explained the issue and served us a fresh hot pizza. We will be returning!!
I’ve lived in Fort Worth my entire life and worked right up the street, and I’ve never been here. What a GEM? Food was delicious, service was top tier. Food was out quickly, hot, and accurate. You MUST order the cloud 9 wings! Also, the Super Pepp pizza was divine. Also for the great white pizza. Delicious, but I should’ve ordered without onions. I don’t like them. Italian hoagie was great. Dylan was our server, and he was so great. We’ll be back! -AllenPartyof4
Food is great. Server brought me the bill but not my credit card so that was suspicious. My son had to ask for it. It was lying by the cash register where anyone could have stolen it or the information.
The service was great, the vegan options were great, and the music was great. Truly an all around GREAT experience.
Mellow Mushroom has officially earned its spot as my go-to pizza place in Fort Worth. I recently tried the Mighty Meaty Pizza, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Loaded with pepperoni, Italian sausage, ground beef, honey ham, and applewood-smoked bacon, each bite was bursting with bold, savory flavors. The red sauce is rich and tangy, perfectly complementing the generous layer of melted mozzarella. What really sets this pizza apart, though, is the crust—it’s warm, slightly chewy, and packed with flavor. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into their dough, and it makes all the difference. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself has a great vibe. It’s clean, inviting, and full of personality. The staff has always been friendly and attentive during my visits, making the whole dining experience consistently enjoyable. If you’re in Fort Worth and craving pizza, Mellow Mushroom is a must. They truly deliver on quality, taste, and service.
Listen, iykyk!!! My and my husband went here tonight for the first time from a recommendation from a great friend. She did not exaggerate this place enough. She said she’s been coming here for 20 years, how dare her. This place is fyre!!! The thin but thick crust, fresh vegetables, wings crisps to perfection!!! Justin said this was his pizza restaurant he worked, well don’t ever leave this is your profession. Jared made the drinks on a Tasty Tuesday and he definitely is a liquor connoisseur💪🏽 Reagan was the best server ever and knew how to sell up! (And she even plays Block Blast)! And Jianna IS the best hype girl ever!! This was a chilled atomosphere and a MUST TRY! I’m originally from the East coast and these people know pie. Thank you for the awesome experience. Will always comeback. Bye Donimo’s, Pizza Hut, Little Caesar’s and other so called pie places🦾👍🏽
This place has really good pizza, I highly recommend coming here. I got a small great white ( i believe its their version of margarita pizza) and it was really good!. the staff was friendly and the atmosphere here is nice and mellow 😊. 10/10
Amazing food, and wonderful staff! Best pizza in Fort Worth.
Good quite place the two times I've visited. Older looking place with good service. Always greeted with a smile. But what gives them this five-star score is the pizza. I've enjoyed other Mellow Mushroom locations, and this one is by far the best in the pizza itself. Of ALL pizza, this one is the best not just this chain.
I really like going to Mellow Mushroom. This location, located on Bluebonnet Circle near the campus of TCU, has a fun kind of hippie/psychedelic vibe to it. The pizza is really good and their crust is fantastic. They also have a nice selection of sandwich options. Their bar usually has a pretty good selection of craft beer options on draft and in cans or bottles. The atmosphere is super casual and laid back and the service is friendly and attentive.
Pizza Head Alert! Great, unique pizza joint on University and Circle Dr. The have sandwiches, wings, beer on tap and bottled. The decor has an Austin vide to it. Or 60's hippie style. The pizzas are also unique and tasty. The crust is more of its own bread kind of thing. It can get a little busy. Great spot. I recommended it.
Great Pizza. Better then many I've had in Texas. The ingredients are all fresh and top notch. So are all the toppings. I've spent more for less. The parmisan chicken wings were out standing. Just ask for them crispy. I can't wait till I get to go back and get a few more pies. Especially when the do them Half & Half. So everyone gets what they like. But i like them all. Staff was wonderful and selections were only bound to your imagination.
We absolutely love coming to this place. Our daughters love the pretzel bites, which comes with so many, and makes it great for the price. The wings are great, huge portions for salads, and pizza is amazing. I actually prefer the thin crust over the regular crust. We love coming here.
Ordered for my kiddo’s bday party. Surprisingly no one had heard of them. I had it in Atlanta years ago so I knew it would be a hit. We ordered 6 large pizzas (pep and cheese). The pizza was a big hit. The adults asked for To go plates lol. The team was great and accommodated my request to change the time of pickup (which was a breeze).
Wings are always a hit and miss when eating out (unless you’re at Wing Stop) so I was a bit reluctant to order wings from here but all I have to say is WOW! They did not disappoint and were delicious. Extra crispy, meaty, and the sauce was amazing. I also ordered a large pepperoni pizza which I enjoyed just as much.
Took off work on Tuesday and decided a visit to Mellow Shroom was in order. It had been a minute. First thing I noticed is that they are doing a great job with social distancing between tables which I so appreciate. Hannah waited on us immediately taking our drink orders. Patrick ordered better than I did as his drink had toasted coconut around the rim. It was so good...sunrise or sunset something or other. Checking in gave us a free order of the pretzel bites which were delicious...beer cheese for dipping. We went with a large make your own pizza with hamburger, pepperoni, garlic & basil with jalapenos on half. It was perfect and so filling. We had another meal each to take home...that crust...yummy!
The pizza was great me and my family ordered the house pizza and the Mighty meat and both were delicious the wings were tasty but not super spicy so if your looking for something on the hotter end this probably won't satisfy your needs the cheesy bread was also good and paired well with the marinara sauce I ordered a pineapple drink and it was super good as well and would highly highly recommend that
The best thing experience and customer service! The pizza is always delicious evertyime. Jianna gives the best customer service and made us laugh so much. I always recommend this restaurant. Best pizza!!!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I just had to share our fantastic experience at Mello Mushroom Pizza! Over the last month, we've become regulars, coming back every weekend, and it's all thanks to our amazing server, Samantha. She is super attentive, always checking in on us, and she makes us feel like old friends every time we walk in. Samantha's friendly demeanor and genuine care for her guests truly enhance our dining experience. And the pizza? Absolutely incredible! Fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection; each visit has been a delicious treat. If you're looking for a fantastic casual dining experience with top-notch service and mouth-watering pizza, Mello Mushroom is the place to be. We can’t wait for our next visit!
Ordered takeout from Mellow Mushroom and it did not disappoint. The pizza was wonderful, fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were hoping for. If you’re looking for recommendations, the Pacific Rim and the Maui Wowie are both excellent choices. We’ll definitely be ordering again.
Growing up in Fort Worth I've been aware of the Mellow Mushroom for years but never eaten there until now. Big mistake on my part! The pizza is really good. I love their crust which is different from any other pizza I've had. It is a very hearty flavorful crust. The ingredients are fresh. Overall it is an amazing pie! Service was top notch and atmosphere is cozy. I highly recommend giving it a try.
Mellow Mushroom in Fort Worth delivered exactly what we were hoping for — great pizza, cold beer, and a relaxing place to enjoy both. The service was excellent from start to finish, friendly and attentive without hovering. We arrived before the dinner rush and grabbed a spot on the patio, which was surprisingly quiet and very comfortable. Pricing was fair for the quality, and our food came out in a reasonable time. Parking was easy, which is always a bonus in Fort Worth. We’d definitely return. A great spot for families, groups, or anyone who just wants good pizza and a laid-back atmosphere without the chaos.
First time here- Reagan was our waitress and I must say… she was absolutely AMAZING! From the greeting, menu explanation, to consistent check up and small talk. It’s hard to find someone who operates with so much passion and she does so! Thank you for a great experience- we will be back!!!!
After leaving a terrible experience at the Mellow Mushroom in Arlington TX, we drove to the Mellow Mushroom in Fort Worth TX. This restaurant offered a much better experience! The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding! I am so glad we came! We will definitely be back. 5 out of 5!!!
My first time coming here. My girl has been here before and told me it was awesome. After a rainy and lazy Sunday afternoon, we got hungry and decided to hit this spot up. I'm glad we did. First off, they have a good draft beer selection. I ordered the Bells Two Hearted IPA....not too hoppy and great taste. My girlfriend wanted something other than beer and ordered the Lavender Grove which was delicious! I got the first sip....yummy!! We ordered the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer. Very creamy and good flavor. Then, we ordered a large House Special pizza and it was delicious! This thing was loaded with toppings, crispy crust and nice n hot! I was tempted on the meatball hoagie from a Google review picture, but we agreed to split a pizza. Maybe next time.... We ended up taking home the other half of the pizza. It reheats well in the oven. 425F for 10 minutes. The restaurant was clean and so we're the restrooms. That goes a long way with me. I wish I could remember our waitresses name, she was awesome! Short Hispanic lady that knows her job well. I'll definitely be back soon to explore the rest of the menu. If you are looking for great pizza, great beer and drinks or both, this place won't disappoint.
We love Mellow Mushroom. Both of the Houston locations closed so we were happy to get our fix in Fort Worth. We started off with Parmesan pretzels and then ordered our two favorites pizzas (Thai Dye & Funky Q Chicken). All were hot & tasty and we cleaned out plates. The food was out in the appropriate amount of time and our server was friendly. Thanks for a great visit!
There are many places in Ft Worth that serve pizza but none that do it with the uniqueness and unashamed hippieness as Mellow Mushroom. The menu features many wonderful choices but I will tell you that if you do not try the Holy Shiitake pizza, you are living an unfulfilled life. There is plenty of seating, indoors and out. And their outdoor patio is dog friendly. The staff is friendly and ready to serve you in the hour of your craving for pizza perfection.
Alex was my server! She was super sweet & attentive!! I love the vibes this place gives off & the staff was super friendly. I tried to take as many pics as possible but as soon as the food hit my table I had to try it! Everything I got was a 10/10 forsure!! I will def be returning as much as possible!! If u come to eat here def try the funky q & the Maryjane brownie with ice cream! Soooo good!!
Always amazing food and service. Super Pepp & mighty meaty are the go to's for us. Would skip on some of the bread appetizers, but the pizza dough and crust is among the best.

Nothing fancy or really festive here. But excellent pizza in unique varieties. I miss the “create your own” salads, though. But you will get great pizza here for a reasonable price served with a smile.
Came here for pizza and a beer. Family friendly laid back atmosphere. Entertaining theme/decor. Pizza is ALWAYS amazing and flavorful. Great crust and fresh toppings. Love that they can think outside the box on flavor and toppings. We ordered a half and half pizza. White and buffalo chicken and it was heaven.
Pertty good place to take the family to. Seems to be a popular place. Server did great but unfortunately got bombarded by a couple big groups so he got a little delayed getting to us in the end. Awesome selections of pizzas. No complaint on the prices. Ordered the pretzel bites that came with really good beer cheese and their tasty marinara sauce. Pretzel bites came hot and really soft, perfect. Recommend giving this place a whirl.
First - finding a place that has Gluten Free Pizza crust that doesn't contain Eggs is AMAZING! Second - I was disappointed as I ordered the Veggie Pizza and paid for additional mushrooms and olives; however, there certainly was not extra of both. It was a sprinkle, not even 1 per slice on the small crust. There were not even 5 slices of olive = about 1 whole olive and less than 1/2 a mushroom. Once again, I even paid for Extra! On a pizza that size there should be far more. So, paying the high cost of extra for both without receiving is an issue. Be cautious when adding toppings. Also, they have toppings available but not when you order online. Overall, I give 3 Stars because they have something I can eat with my allergies. However, the price point for such a small pizza when the toppings are miniscule is a huge deterrent. My bill for these two small pizzas was $40. I easily could a get Regular Large pizza equal to double for far less. As someone who works in the food industry, the making things smaller just because it's gluten free or other none SAD based foods plus charging a higher price is not appropriate.
I came with my husband and young son to have a bite to eat. We were greeted upon entering and immediately being told if we could eat on the patio - I was a little hesitant as it's humid & almost 90° to which they said to give them a few minutes to clean a table for us. A few moments later we were seated. We ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer and for our meal a small mighty meaty & small buffalo chicken with no onions. The appetizer came and unfortunately was mainly raw dough on the inside. Our waitress was great and immediately got us a new order along with a $5 discount for it. Our pizzas came out after about 30 min of waiting which is not a bad wait time. The buffalo pizza though had onions so they got us a replacement without them which extended the wait by about an additional 15 min. The food, once corrected, was great. We asked for our bill to pay and noticed there was a $1.50 charge for ranch which we never got. No biggie and an easy correction 😊 our total bill was about $60, I added a picture of our bill for reference on what we ordered. Overall, I would say 3 stars but our server was absolutely wonderful.
Was definitely a mellow place! We had an amazing waitress always made sure our glasses were filled always came over with a smile. I definitely do love my pizza as far as the potato pizza I wasn't necessarily the biggest fan of I didn't really taste much potatoes imo I feel like if they went w square crispy potatoes that would make this pizza a next level dish for sure make them square and crispy not saying the pizza was bad by any means we destroyed it and only had one pizza slice left to take home. The place was real clean which is definitely always a plus in my eyes and they had a lot of different pizzas to try so definitely going to have to come back as well as the people sitting behind us talking about how good the gluten free pizzas is made me want to come back and try that one next time. We enjoyed our meal as well as the waitress we had thank you for making this a great experience mellow

Great pizzas with very unique ambience. Prices are ok but the charge for extras like small quantities of salad dressing and small parm cheese. Most restaurants don't!

I didn't eat, just had some drink that I can't remember the name of. It had a coconut rim with pomegranate. The waiter suggested that because she said they "didn't have the ingredients to make..." the drink that I wanted. It was made well. The food that everyone else ordered looked great.
They have delicious food and a good ambiance. I arrived on a Sunday night 30 minutes before closing for a to go order pizza (small). The employee mentioned they were closed as she was cleaning the door. I decided to go inside after seeing they were still open (until 9pm). Tried to order and the employee said they didn’t take Apple Pay (after the initial employee I talked to whispered something to her). I left even after knowing I could order using their QR code. Roger’s roundhouse takes orders at 8:30, so I decided to go there.
We went on a weekday at lunchtime. There was no one there so we thought the experience would be great. We sat on the patio and our server was friendly enough, but kept forgetting We were out there. We asked for salt and she did not return with it, I went inside to find her eating pizza and chatting with the other people there. It was not a great experience, but the food was fine. Gluten-free crust, although we were told they were out- only to find out they had remaining gluten-free crust available. I don’t think this place has run very well. While we appreciate the GF crust- we actually wanted two. May need to manage inventory closer
We’ve been to other locations in the past and have always had great experiences. Tonight, half of the restaurant was reserved for a cheer fundraiser later in the evening. Short wait, no problem. No more than 10 tables in use when we order due to the upcoming party. Our server brings us our appetizer and drinks, and after that goes over and is helping in the party section which had just arrived. For the next 30ish minutes, we see him running back and forth with drinks and other items to this section. Meanwhile my wife and I are sitting with empty glasses for most of that time. Eventually a different waiter brings us out our pizza, which was incorrect (only supposed to have jalapeños on have of the pizza), and finally gets us refills. At this point we’re just ready to eat and get out of there, so my wife picks off the jalapeños. Food was top notch as always. Then at the end, our original server returns to check in with us and eventually get us a box and bill. Hopefully this was more of the exception rather than the rule, but still quite disappointed in our experience.
It seems like a common theme at Mellow Mushrooms in Texas to be extra stingy with toppings. We ordered 3 pizzas for 78+ dollars before tax and tip. We usually only get veggies, they charge $2.50 for each topping for the build your own pie and they always barely put any veggies on our pizzas. Here in Fort Worth and in the Denton location, I don't get it! The pizzas are very tasty but I don't understand how they are so stingy with the toppings when they pay pennies on the dollar for the ingredients and make quite a big percentage when they charge 2.50 for each ingredient. Anyway be aware that if you order pizzas to go you might get very little toppings.
The place looked closed but it was just an empty parking lot and tinted windows. Inside it was cute and clean. Pros: very kind server. Clean and cute atmosphere. And my son got a small pizza and said he loved it and the crust! Come: The bathroom was less clean and the soap in both men and women’s was strange or water down or smelled like rubbing alcohol. Sole complaint I would have are the prices. $15 for 9 wings. Buffalo Wild Wings is better priced and offers more yall. I actually was so turned off by the prices (Especially once you decide on a GF small (4 slices) starting at $16+ that I didn’t eat anything. I was starving too. I’d hadn’t eaten in 24 hours and was so ready to have something. But I am not willing to pay that much for something so puny. But that’s just me. :)
I was recommended this place by a friend but maybe he was hyping it too much that I was a bit disappointed. The place and food aren’t bad but nothing extraordinary. It wasn’t crowded but it took a bit to get seated and to get our food. The bread from the pizza was really good though.
It’s an eclectic little place, but I’ve had far better pizza. The Kosmic Karma was recommended as was the thin crust. Unfortunately, I found it to be a lot of tomato sauce and pesto that made the c…
What the? It was all crust and very little toppings. Why would any pizza establishment put a $13 dollar 10" pizza with that pathetic crust to topping ratio in a box and let someone take it home. The few toppings on the pizza were average at best. I thought I ordered pizza not a loaf of bread. SMH!
Went after lunch rush hour during work trip on a weekday. Had 2 orders with seperate checks/cards but they were both posted on 1 card. Had a bug in parm cheese shaker land on food. The leftover tomatoes and chicken went bad overnight in refrigerator.
I came here awhile ago and couldn't remember why I didn't like it, so I tried it again. We sat outside on the patio and started with the bruschetta. It was presented really well with the balsamic glaze. The bite had the perfect amount of crunch. The bruschetta was on the salty side though. We ordered a large house pizza. It came out really quick and hot. First bite and I was immediately dissapointed. I asked for extra sauce to see if it would make it better. I then realized the sauce was the problem. Any pizza sauce should be tasty enough to have it on its own. Their sauce tasted like canned sauce. I also tried their ranch sauce. It was very tasty and I enjoyed dipping the crust into the ranch. Overall, the pizza did not taste better than a pizza from domino's or papa johns. The crust was slightly better, but the sauce and toppings were blah. They really need to improve their sauce and quality of bacon (it was almost all fat) for the price you pay. The total bill with one soda, bruschetta, and the large house pizza with ranch was $40. If you want pizza with awesome crust, sauce, and toppings for less, go to pizza snob.
Ordered a To-go pizza on a Sunday night (not usually a busy day) and order said it would be ready at 6:18. When we got there they told us it would be an additional 45 min. Luckily it only took 30 min but still was an hour after we had placed the order. Next time just put longer wait times so we know and don’t spend 30 min just waiting in our car for the pizza.
Kids pizza was no good, it’s basically a piece of bread sliced in half smothered in red sauce, drowned in cheese, the wings were the same as grocery store Tyson precooked wings, hardly any flavor even with the sauce, the small pizza was only highlight, our waitress was great, just wish the food was better for the price we paid. Overhyped for sure.
I've been a patron of Mellow Mushroom for several years, but my recent visit this weekend prompted me to revise my review. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, only to find that it was missing two key ingredients - onions and bacon. My friends ordered pizzas with spinach, which they barely added. It seems they are quite stingy with their ingredients, to the extent of omitting them altogether. Regrettably, I won't be revisiting in the future.
For some reason this place is popular and I'm not sure why? This is my third time visiting. First visit was by choice because I was told it was awesome. The second was for a birthday gathering and the pizza was still blah. This visit was also for a birthday and we ended up waiting for over an hour before our waitress asked, how was it? As we replied, we haven't received anything. So it took nearly 2 hrs by the time we received our food. Knowing that I really didn't care for their pizza. I went with a safe bet and ordered a Meatball Hoagie. When our food was brought to the table I sat there for a bit staring at my sad looking hoagie. It was basically three small meatballs cut in half to fill a10 inch. With a little bit of tomato sauce splattered on the bread. So with this last visit I can assure it will be my last time eating there. If there is another gathering there I may show up but it will only be to drink. I'm only giving the second star for the second waitress or manager that gave us the discount on the food for taking so long.
Probably my 15th visit to Mellow Mushroom in Fort Worth. Have always visited this store mid afternoon with awesome service and food orders. Tonight I brought my family in around 6:30pm. Restaurant wasn't too busy, only half or less of the seats were filled. Was seated at a booth and waited....... and waited..... waitress walked by 4 plus times but wouldn't make eye contact. Finally another waiter came by to take our drink order, then waited..... and waited.... when the drinks arrive IE - pitcher of beer and an Ice tea, minus a third beer glass. Beer glass arrived 5 minutes later. We then place our food order for a couple of pizzas and a large salad. Pizzas arrived but never saw our salad order. Finished our pizzas and waited.... and waited..... was asked if we wanted another pitcher of beer....... too late, we were done...... Not sure if this is normal for an evening visit but I was not impressed at all. Highly disappointed with our service tonight vs our usual afternoon service. Hopefully a manager or owner reads this review and takes action quickly.
Pizza was a little soggy. Waitress was not really there. Atmosphere was ok...I don't know what it is about some places in fW but, its as if everyone is supposed to be quiet and I prefer lively places where folks actually want to have fun and a good time.

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. My boyfriend ordered a gluten free dairy free pizza which we waited nearly over an hour for in barely busy restaurant. Our server, who checked on us once…

Arrived around 630 party of 8. Was told an hour wait although 2 round bar tables were empty that would have accommodated our party. Hostess at the front did not try to work with us to split up or p…
Absolute horrible service. Our server didn’t even make it to the table until 15-20 min after we were seated. No introduction or greeting but our receipt says our server was Sammie. She just asked if we were ready to order and we didn’t see her again until we were waiting for her to come by and pay us out. Not once did she come by to check on us. No apology for wait at all. The other servers dropped off our food and rushed off without asking if we needed anything. The other servers would just walk by or look at us when we were trying to pay out and none approached us to help. It’s sad. There is clearly no teamwork within their restaurant. There were other guests complaining as well regarding the service being awful. We love mellow mushroom pizza but the service does not make the trip worth while.
Located on blue bonnet circle right near the TCU campus we used to come eat here to watch college football games prior to going to a TCU game. This place is just sad now. Only 3 working TVs out of 6. The food was average. The only bright spot was the service. Unfortunately we won’t be back.
Something’s wrong with the food, I ate a Mary prankster and the chicken and cheese seemed off. Made me horribly sick. The woman manager didn’t even care and stormed off when I made a complaint.
don’t try ordering pizza for parties from this place directly; they don’t want to take the order or have them pre-paid so that someone other than who’s ordering can pick up the food. allison was rude and dismissive and directed me instead to their online platform. might as well just order from pizza hut: at least they take orders over the phone. thanks for nothing, allison.
I took my family to eat here because I had a pleasant experience last time I went, which was about 10 years ago. When we walked in we were immediately greeted and the hostess took my name. I told her we preferred a booth (I have many reasons why we prefer booths, one of which is I have an anxiety disorder and find it difficult to eat when strangers can watch me). She said "no problem". When we sat down to wait, there were 3 booths open, nobody sitting in them. A few other parties came in after us, 2 of which were immediately seated (one of those just sidestepped the hostess & seated themselves) and one which were seated in the waiting area with us to wait. When the hostess said we could be seated, she said "sorry but there are no booths available" even though there were 2 open & empty, so we were seated at a table in an open area next to the bar. (There were no signs at the booths saying "reserved" or "private", either.) Immediately after we were seated, the OTHER party that came in after we did were seated in one of the open booths. The server tried to say they had a reservation, but I don't believe that, because if they actually had a reservation, why did they have to wait 5-10 minutes in the waiting area instead of being seated right away, like the other party who had a reservation? I think they were friends of the hostess or somebody, and so they got preferential treatment. Neither I nor my family will ever bother trying this place again, and I am going to notify people on my social media to avoid this place as well. It's a shame because if we were treated well, we could've spent a lot of money in there as well as brought in more business. Oh well.
Would give no stars if possible. The refrigerator for the line that houses mozerella, chicken, small doughs, provolone, and ricotta was offline until 6pm today yesterday I noticed it getting warm and the management shrugged me off. Today I made it known that it was blatantly offline twice until the manager got angry and stormed off and told me to deal with it, so I then began trying to save ingredients and move them over, our tickets got piled up because the manager stormed off and left us hanging, at this point the disrespect was too much for me so I quit right after she finally pulled the line out and reset the GFI. Had she apologized and said I was right and did her job and investigated this post could have been avoided. I then stood on the sidewalk on Facebook live and warned possible patrons until now, almost 8pm. I'm a little dehydrated now so I'll go home for water, this place needs to be investigated and the management needs to be fired. They'd rather care about football and smoking weed rather than the quality of food that they should have served. I am an electronic technician by trade and don't need to be wasting my time making people be sick and being disrespected, therefore I have no reason to tell you this other than to protect you. If it's burgers go to Charley's they're great, pizza wise I'd stick to dominos or frozen grocery pizza over this disgusting place.
just tried to order from here and my order was cancelled twice after it had gone through. This place doesn't like taking uber eats orders for vegans. Management needs to talk to whoever is in the kitchen hitting that cancel button.
I haven’t eaten at mellow mushroom in a while but always loved it. We went plant based back in January and haven’t found good pizza and saw mellow had vegan options. We are excited to eat good pizza! Sadly, that excitement was brought to an abrupt halt when we got our food (delivery). The bbq tofu was just regular no tofu, no flavor or seasoning. The avocado that was extra $ was mostly brown, the sauce was bland and overall it was soooooo disappointing. Maybe their other pizza is good but don’t offer a product you obviously can’t deliver (no pun intended) on. Don’t do it, make your own, save the money and heartache!!
Walked into this location were seated with menus after some time. Literally were passed by 3 different servers without a word within a 10-15 minute period. Another couple walked in and were seated immediately, their behinds had barely touched their seats and their server was already bringing plates and silverware. Not sure if this is racially motivated or just poor service however I will never return to this location. Spoke to the manager and no one took accountability for how things went. I hope this isn’t something racially motivated but it certainly felt that way, something to think about when considering where you get your pizza.
