Came for a late lunch(2-3) got a lunch special at the time. It was great, the server was awesome, checked on us often, brought a second glass of tea, gave us a thought on some of the beers. If I’m in the area I would go again.

You can’t drive by without wanting to go in. It’s so inviting with the patio open on the street side. Delicious pretzel. Slightly heavier style fish and chips but still hard to pass up. A wide selection of menu options so there’s something for everyone. The type of place that really picks your spirits up because it’s so casual, and homey, good drinks and music, too.

Such a cool place! And really great food and service. Love the sandwiches and salads. The Hamberry Panini is incredible.

Fun and unique pub/restaurant with great food options. Nice vegan offerings, exceptional vegetarian offerings, as well as traditional proteins. Sandwich form, wrap form, salads, and plates. I ordered the lunch special choosing the artichoke flatbread and Cindy's Heart of Boerne salad...highly recommend. The dressing is amazing! Great service, nice atmosphere.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful evening at The Dodging Duck Brewhaus. The service was phenomenal — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. Our server made us feel right at home and never missed a beat. The food was fantastic. The Reuben was stacked perfectly and full of flavor, the burger was cooked just right, and the homemade-style chips and mashed potatoes were a great touch. And that dessert… unreal. Rich, warm, and indulgent — the perfect ending to the night. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, especially on the patio with the lights and heaters. It made for a perfect night out together. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Absolutely incredible vegan burger, full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and super satisfying. You’d never guess it’s plant-based. Friendly staff and great vibes too. Highly recommend!

We love it here!!! We had the fish and chips, steak medallions, and bison burger. Appetizer was the giant pretzel and sausage. Dessert we had the toffee brownie. Incredible! Our waitress Juliana gave great suggestions. We went with every suggestion and weren’t disappointed.

Great, cozy, little spot for a nice lunch. We arrived a few minutes after they opened and got right in. By the time we left, about 12:30, they were pretty full. We started with the giant pretzel and sausage. There were 4 of us, and it was early, so it was plenty for an appetizer. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Definitely try the fish & chips. It was perfect!

Best Fish & Chips I have had in years! Huge portions , crispy and not over cooked or greasy. Beers were tasty and service was great. Was sat next to the bar so it was quite noisy and it’s September in Texas so everyone was inside keeping cool. Great recommendations from our server as well!

Food is absolutely fantastic! The service was also just as excellent. We had the fish and chips and brew house burger. They were both amazing. The ambiance was perfect. Don't pass up the old geezer pecan ale!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with a large party. We didn't have reservations, but was luckily able to be seated within a few minutes at an outside table. There is less seating inside, so that would've been about a 30 minute wait. It was hot, but there's fans everywhere to help cool it down. Service was very friendly. Started off with a few drinks and a beer Flight as they had a nice selection of beers on tap. Also, had some Shishito Peppers and Fried Green Tomatoes for the table. Those were great to share and a good start to the meal. For the meal, ordered about 6 different dishes ranging from a burger to a salad to seafood. Surprisingly, all were very good, but my surprise favorite was the Fish & Chips. I would've been happy with any dish though. For dessert, ordered the Brownie and Creme Brulee. Once again, both were good. It was nice sitting outside enjoying some good food and drinks.

I was very impressed with this restaurant. It is a true gem and worth making a quick detour if your in the area. Craft brews made in house and fantastic food. Indoor and Outdoor seating, just across the street from the walking trails by the creek. The Duckomo Tropical Ale was a stand out. The Panini, Salad and Fried Green Tomatoes were all exceptional. I will definitely stop by again to try more of the menu.

Been going here for years and never bothered doing a write up until now. Overall a great place to eat and enjoy company. Food is wonderful (we have no real favorites, and will try some of the 'new' items, but often get the pretzels). Service is friendly, but can get slow on Thu-Sat, so be prepared. I recommend reservations on busy days. It can get loud also (the only real drawback of the atmosphere). Parking can be found in the back of the restaurant or park on the street (watch out for the ducks...and people)

Had a great time! The live music was awesome and the overall vibe is relaxed. There are many good food options, but you really have to try the sausage and bratwurst.

Best fish and chips I have ever had in my life! Don't even look at the rest of the menu, except the potato salad which is also the best I have ever had in my life and I'm German so I have had some good ones! So basically skip the chips/fries and get the potato salad with the fish. 100 out of 10. The flavor and texture and sauce. Food heaven! Service was good, atmosphere was really cool. Wish I lived here I would come so often! Side note- the chili cheese fries with ranch were pretty good. The pretzel with the berry mustard sauce was also good. The appetizer ribs were tough and barely meaty. Ribs don't seem to be their forte. The burger was just a simple burger, nothing special.

Stopped by for lunch today. The restaurant is family friendly and located across from the creek with a beautiful walking trail. We were able to walk up and get a table for 4 with no wait just before 12pm on a weekday. Everyone was friendly. The atmosphere is nice. We were in the first room to the left. 3 tables of different sizes and a window ac and fan. We were very comfortable. The table cloths add a nice touch and my kids loved the butcher paper to color on. Our server brought out extra papers and crayons while we waited on the food. We ordered from the lunch menu. My kids got burgers with soup for a side (chili and chicken tortilla)…those meals were ok. Chili was lacking ingredients. More volume. The chicken Caesar wrap was mostly lettuce. We did have to ask a few times for water to be refilled so attention to that would be good for future visits. Wed return to try it again. Restrooms were clean. And it was a cute restaurant. Prices were kind of high for lunch prices. And I’m unsure if there’s a parking lot. We parked along the street across from the restaurant.

Good food, great service and fun atmosphere. The place is very clean and has a cool vibe with multiple levels of outdoor seating plus indoor seating. We each had an IPA, I had the half Cobb salad with chicken which was very good and my husband had the axis burger which was ok, overcooked and a pretty darned little patty. His Spanish rice and mashed potatoes on the side were very good and our server was a delightful young lady. The bathrooms were immaculate and well stocked.

Dodging Duck Brewhaus in Boerne, Texas, is a fantastic spot for a laid-back, family-friendly meal with great food, service, and atmosphere. Located right by the river, it offers a beautiful setting, especially if you sit outside on the patio, where dogs are welcome. The relaxed vibe, combined with live music, makes it a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. The food did not disappoint! We started with the fried okra, which was perfectly crispy and well-seasoned—a must-try for any okra lover. The kids ordered mac and cheese from the children's menu, and they absolutely loved it. It was creamy, cheesy, and a generous portion, making it a hit with our little ones. For the main course, I went with the migas from the weekend menu, and they were delicious. The eggs were fluffy, the tortilla strips added just the right amount of crunch, and the flavors were well-balanced. My husband ordered the Comal Tacos, which were fresh, flavorful, and packed with great ingredients. The menu offers a nice mix of options, from classic Texas comfort food to more creative dishes. Service was top-notch—everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Whether you're looking for a great meal, local brews, or a relaxed spot to hang out by the river, Dodging Duck Brewhaus is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back for sure!

IMO, the prices do not reflect what’s shown on Google maps. I saw that the Philly cheesesteak was $10.95. Their menu has the price at $21.00. I had the chicken tortilla soup and it was subpar. It had a few shreds of chicken in it. It was mostly tomatoes and onions. The bacon cheeseburger was very good, however, it was pricey as well. Jack was a very attentive server and very polite.

Would have given 2 stars since my top choice was taken off the menu. Chose the steak frites. Definitely avoid this choice. Their reuben that my girl ordered was amazing. Easily a solid 8.5. Thankfully my girl eats light. Their beer is pretty on point. Waitress was also super friendly. They should bring back the wagyu dry aged steak!

Sunday brunch at the Dodging Duck. The location was great and near the River. The food was okay although the service wasn’t great. We were in a large group and two orders forgot to be placed until addressed; drinks were not refilled often; multiple orders were incorrect; a to go box wasn’t brought as requested; and on and on. We ended up leaving without the to go box and had to advocate for being compensated for very late and incorrect orders. We won’t be returning.
