The staff and service were very good. The fruit and lettuce salad was good but the dressing was a bit too sweet. The complimentary bread was nice but had too strong a sour taste for Sourdough bread. Likely from using a sour agent versus fermentingthe dough naturally. The steak was not spectacular. But a hot water bath the next day with the leftover brought out the juices and flavor quite nicely. The ribs were dry likely from overcooking them. The cocktails and bottled soda were good. The cheeseburger was terrible. The chicken burger arrived as a salad sandwich. The plain chicken patty arrived after complaining but was not good. It was dry and did not taste great.. The peasant soup was great as were the beef ribs.The Peruvian strips of beef with red onion and peppers were good. The sauce was a bit strong.

Honestly, their food did not impressed me at all, the atmosphere is very nice but food is very expensive for what they offer-I think there are better restaurants in the capital for those prices. One of the dishes I ordered was a fish with a creamy sauce (pretty good) and it was supposed to come with coconut rice( but instead it came with something like a wet rice pudding/"dessert" like) -I did not like it , that wasn't good at all- we complained about it but instead of getting it changed for something else , they took it away and say "sorry, that's the chef's recipe". We also ordered baby beef, and guess what... it had no taste or condiments, nor salt or pepper. The shrimp pasta was alright.

It was interesting how every dish I tried was a total flop. The waiters were really attentive and quite nice (most of them), but the food is not only unworthy of Hilton, it is also objectively of poor quality. An average restaurant is worlds better and cheaper too, I'm sorry to say. But at least you could eat it without getting stomach problems.
