McDonald's Borger Reviews
Dining room is open. Order at the Kiosk and pick up at the counter. Clean dining room.
Delicious food ! They were short handed but resilient to let them stop them ! They were out of sodas only Hi-c and Blue Powerade, tea, lemonade coffee.
I had to try new pumpkin pie. They had it hot and was great! Service was nice, minimal wait
Stop here for breakfast every morning. There are three of us that ride together and the order is always correct. The staff is always friendly, I really think they could fill our order without asking what we want.
The coffee was more milk than coffee the last few times I've gone and it seems when you order plain coffee the cup isn't full. I'm not getting it there anymore.
Great, if you go inside but the drive up is a different story, they can't seem to get an order right. I ordered a Big Mac with NO middle bun, and they couldn't do it not 1 but 4 times. I don't think they really listen they repeat what I ordered, but they just can't get it done.
Is very frustrating when you're doing doordash and you have an order at McDonald's and they claim that the order is ready and it's clearly not ready.
Grabbed a couple of breakfast sandwiches and coffee as we headed out of town. Food was fine, but ordering in person was slow. I won't use the filthy self-serve board. I want to talk to a real person and I always pay cash.
For dinning in and ordering at the kiosk, it tells you to take a number, enter it, and sit down as they'll bring it to you...works at most locations....but here your order will still get bagged and placed up at the counter. Then its a guessing game as to if you're looking for your ticket number or table number. Either way, your probably gonna miss it and eat cold food.
Waiting 10 minutes when there’s literally no one inside for someone to take our order was ridiculous, everyone was just talking amongst themselves not paying attention to the front. I’m not using some machine to take my order. The food was good at least, the customer service here is horrible. Find a new job.
McDonald's in Borger is a living, breathing homage to the concept of "good enough." You roll up craving a burger with extra pickles and maybe a little extra mayo, thinking, This time, surely, they’ll get it right. But no. The moment that bag hits your lap, you know—deep in your soul—you’ve been played. Again. No pickles. No mayo. Just another rushed, thrown-together mess handed over by a herd of high school kids who look like they’d rather be anywhere else. And honestly? I don’t blame them. This place isn’t so much a restaurant as it is a well-oiled, soul-crushing food factory. You don’t come here for a culinary experience—you come because it’s fast, hot, and within arm’s reach. And that’s the one thing they nail: speed. The food gets to you quick, mostly because they couldn’t care less if it's right. It’s the embodiment of that classic McDonald’s philosophy: Don’t love it, don’t hate it, just eat it and leave. The burgers? Oh, they’re here. Constructed like a crime scene—buns half off, cheese melting in whatever direction physics decided that day, and lettuce spilling out like it’s making a run for it. It’s a food assembly line that would make Henry Ford proud. No love. No artistry. Just slap, wrap, and chuck it in the bag. And let’s talk about customer service—if you can call it that. Try making eye contact with one of these kids and you’ll feel like you just asked them to recite the Gettysburg Address. I get it, they’re young, they don’t want to be there. But damn, at least pretend to give a fraction of a damn when a grown adult asks for a simple order modification. Hospitality? Manners? That’s for the "real world"—and this, my friends, is just a fast-food purgatory where your complaints go to die. But let’s be real—McDonald’s didn’t get famous for caring. They pioneered the get ‘em in, get ‘em out game. And we, the suckers, keep showing up, because deep down we know exactly what we’re gonna get: a warm bag of mediocrity, a fleeting sense of satisfaction, and the promise that, no matter how bad it was, we’ll be back. Because let’s face it—when you’re starving in Borger, your options are limited, and sometimes, you just need that greasy, high-speed, zero-effort, industrial-grade McSustenance.
Not even close to what I ordered. Where's the lettuce tomato mayo?? Borger is the worst McD I've experienced since moving here from NY. Using app to order and they still get it wrong and last time ordered double cheeseburger and had to wait for them to butcher the cow for my sandwich....30 minutes.
Tried it again last night. Burger was decent but fries over cooked
They suck all the way around! The person that owns this one needs to do a better job!
Guess they don't understand closing hours. Arrived well before 11 pm and they were already closed.
No cars in the drive through, 2 people in the same car can not make separate orders without making 2 trips through the drive through between 6pm and 8pm ? What a joke
Wanted for a long time for my order only to find our that instead of making my order to dine in they made it to go. So it sat on the counter for a long time. When I tried to talk to the manager and stated that it was for here and will the food still be hot she just walked away. The receipt even stated that it was dine in. The food was cold and poor service. I will not be coming back to this location again.
Worst McDonald’s Experience – Avoid if You Can This location is a total headache. I usually don’t leave reviews, but after a string of frustrating visits, I felt like people should be warned. Let’s start with the WiFi – it’s basically useless. You’ll connect, but good luck actually loading anything. Want to check your mobile order status or use the app? Don’t count on it. Might as well be running on 2005 dial-up. The staff? They’re mostly alright when they actually show up to the counter or acknowledge you. Sometimes you’ll get lucky and someone will be helpful or polite, but more often than not, you’ll just be standing there wondering if they even know you’re there. The general vibe is disinterested and slow, like they’re doing you a favor just for making eye contact. Now the pickup process – easily the worst part. If you ordered through the app and don’t have the original phone with the order on it, you’re out of luck. Even if you’re at the correct location, have the confirmation number, payment info, or anything else — they still won’t give you your food. It has to be on the original device. Outdated and completely ridiculous. And here’s the worst part: you can’t cancel your mobile order — not through the app, not in-store, not even if you’re standing there with the staff trying to fix it. I placed an order at this exact location, but because I didn’t have the phone it was ordered on, they refused to give me the food. No refund, no way to cancel — just $15 gone. They couldn’t (or wouldn’t) do anything about it. For a place that’s supposed to be about fast and easy service, this location is anything but. Between the broken tech, rigid policies, and unreliable staff, it’s just not worth the hassle.
Past five times I have ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit and it comes out bacon. Two out of the five times I ordered a breakfast burrito with it and did not receive the breakfast burrito. It mesmerizes me how much incompetence these workers have. Definitely need new management because this one is not managing anybody.
everytime I go through drive thru I get sent to mobile order or curbside pick up lane along with every other car and takes forever to get food. why even have a drive thru if? and then come out asking for a receipt I never got and asking me what I ordered? but I bet there drive thru time is low that's why they send everyone to mobile order once again sat in line for 15 mins then get to the window and she tells me to go to mobile order # spot 3 told her I didn't mobile order she said she knows as well as 2 people in front of me and sat here for 5-7 mins.
I paid almost $20 for 2 McDoubles and 3 Frappes. The McDoubles were typical. These are the frappes I got. When I asked why they weren't full, I was told that's just the way we make it. I didn't realize that shorting the frappe and making up the shortage with extra extra whipped cream was an acceptable business practice, but am sadly not surprised.
