Refuge located on Mount Pora easily reachable both with the ski lifts and with a walk of about half an hour from the car parks, as often happens in refuges local food is plentiful and very good, position always exposed to the sun which on the coldest days is always a good thing, once you reach the top after a short climb in front of the refuge the panorama opens up suddenly giving you the opportunity to see Lake Iseo, recommended

A truly wonderful experience. My dogs had gotten lost and were found by the shelter owners, who took impeccable care of them. They provided them with food and water, posted an ad on their Instagram page, and waited for us to arrive even though it was already evening. Extremely kind, helpful, and humane, as few others find. Thank you so much, we will never forget it💜

After a Sunday walk, we had lunch at the Magnolini refuge. It's always best to book a table to eat inside. The service was quick, and everything was delicious, even the desserts. Highly recommended!

The Magnolini refuge, at 1,610 meters above sea level, in Pian della Palù, in the Costa Volpino area (Bergamo). It is located in a scenic area, straddling the Camonica Valley in Brescia and the upper Seriana Valley. This alpine lodge is one of Lombardy's so-called "winter refuges." In addition to its summer opening season, the Magnolini's managers offer refreshments and hospitality on weekends practically year-round. It can be reached by several routes, from both the Camonica Valley and the Seriana Valley. The most popular, simple, and suitable for all, is the one that winds from the Valzelli area, along the slope of the same name at the Monte Pora ski resort, to Castione della Presolana (Bergamo). From nearby Monte Alto (1,721 m), you can enjoy an extraordinary view of Lake Iseo and the Po Valley.

I arrived at the refuge by e-bike and stopped for lunch. It was a very welcoming place with very kind staff. I had tagliatelle with wild spinach, and I have to say... it was delicious. The interior and exterior of the refuge are very beautiful, very well-kept. It's a shame the weather was a bit uncertain with lots of clouds. I'll do it again.

A classic mountain refuge convenient for an easy walk. Beautiful during the day for the view of the Presolana massif and especially for the 🌇 sunset. Very good, plentiful dishes, a warm atmosphere, and very fast and friendly staff.

This mountain shelter is located in a very spacial position, easy to be reached and able to be in the sun during all year long. Food and service are quite nice and the rooms are also available for short periods. A very nice spot for some Relax.

I stayed there this winter, in January. Good value for money. It's in a beautiful location with plenty of scenic spots to reach. It was particularly charming with the snow, and the room was spacious, warm, and clean! I'd stay here again!

A truly enchanting place, nestled in a secluded spot at the foot of Mount Alto. To reach it, you have to hike or skin up (for ski mountaineering). The outside is certainly less beautiful than the inside, which, however, is truly enchanting. The people who run it are friendly, and the food is excellent (at least the apple strudel I enjoyed). Given the delicious aroma of stew wafting through the air, it's worth stopping for lunch! Highly recommended!

Excellent cakes, coffee to revisit We arrived at the cabin after a pleasant walk through nature. The place is truly beautiful, with plenty of outdoor space where even the children can play safely. Inside, we enjoyed some excellent cakes, fresh and truly delicious. Unfortunately, the experience was somewhat ruined by the coffees: they were burnt and unpleasant, even though we asked for them to be remade (unfortunately with the same result). Furthermore, we weren't asked whether they were okay or not, which would have made a difference in the service. Other than that, the cabin remains a very charming and pleasant place to stop.

Food and location were absolutely good! However, staff is very rude: first, when I called the place to book a table for 6, nobody told me that we would be separated in two different tables; once there, a waitress yelled at us several times as if we were children! We can understand Covid restrictions, but kind manners are the minimum requirement for those working in a restaurant - we were very surprised! Anyway, apart from this bad experience with the waitress, I recommend this place!
