The team here is so exceptional, I'd never thought I'd be leaving a review for a McDonald's. All staff are polite, thorough, quick and my food is always hot hot and correct. The crispiest nuggets at any mycdonald's I've ever been too.
It was open at that time on Sunday (10:40 P.M.), and it's McDonald's. It hit the spot. Got a big mac, fries, and a 10 pc. chicken nuggets with bbq and Mexican hot sauces on the side. Fresh hot and delicious. Fast service.
Fantastic customer service! One of the fastest and accurate MCD's I have ever been to. The inside is very clean and always well taken care of. The restrooms are always filled and the crew does a great job of attending to all needs and requests. If I could give this MCD 10 stars, I would!

Weirdly one of the best Mcdonalds I've had, I dunno what it is, because for fast food you don't normally expect too much-- but the cheeseburger was strangely good?? I don't know if it's cause there's a rush right now and everything is coming out steaming fresh or what but anyways 12pm on a Thursday, tastes smashing.
Showed up at 1am and got two cheeseburgers. Service was fast and the people were nice. I don't usually go to McDonald's for non-breakfast foods, but if you want cheeseburgers please keep in mind that it's just a cheese slice, a patty, ketchup, and pickles. I was surprised to see pickles included by default. I like them but others might not.
Very nice and friendly employees, I ordered an apple pie and it was really warm,fresh, and super bomb. Only one negative thing is that the restroom smelled and it could have been a bit more cleaner. Other than that everything is a 5/5.
I love the atmosphere at this location, its like no other. No matter how busy it gets there is always a positive attitude from the employees whether it be from the front servers or from the kitchen, especially from the morning staff I know I can count on Eloisa and her team but I can't forget the night staff, Mary is amazing and quick. The majority of the staff at this location is very friendly. They have a great play area for toddler age. Food is always fresh and hot. You definitely need the app for the deals.

That night Manager deserves a raise. Whoever was working at around 3:30 AM on July 28 Monday. That team right away as my first interaction with them with the late night crew I assumed they just wouldn’t even care and my food would be terrible lol what I would expect from McDonald’s this late. But as I left that parking lot, I told myself I have a feeling the food’s gonna be super fresh and good just because that crew was so cool and nice and professional. For me to leave a review at McDonald’s at 4:20 AM currently. Should tell you something that morning crew today deserves a raise. My food was super fresh and my buns were still warm by the time I got home insane. That all crispy and hard the bread you get lol fries were fresh. Everything was. Employee/Manager whoever he was, I called ahead to tell them I was going to arrive 5 or so minutes after 2pm and if there’s any way they can still make me a shake because I know they stop serving them at 2am, he said he would make it for me NOW right then, and it was like 10 min until 2am. He trusted me to show up and pay when I got there it was very 50’s of him. I appreciated it so much I think his name was Hector. Anywho, thank you for being so cool 👍🏻
7/24 @ 11:55pm, they earned a 5th star from me tonight. I didn't have to wait long in their busy drive-thru. I ordered: -Spicy Mc Chk -filet-o-fish -berry cream pie -med Dr. Pepper It was all perfect. All of it. The temperature, the taste, the feel. Like, you know when sometimes (many) ff restaurants will give you food that you know has been sitting? Just so disappointing when that happens. Not 2nite bebe Literally felt like Cinderella did right before midnight. Euphoric. .......might get a totally different crew on the day side.....who knows. It's a McDonald's so the drive thru line can be long during peak hours. They have the dual lane system which can be annoying and the second lane is closed half the time. But other than that it's fast food, service is good, and it's a McDonald's.
I picked up breakfast muffins with coffee for workers in this area. I saw a senior lady working there. She knew everything how to care customers and was working hard. Whenever I see seniors working in McDonald's, they contribute a lot for improvement of service. I was served right and happy as an another senior customer with McDonald's.
I was visiting friend and kids wanted to get happy meal. Used the drive thru and got kids meals. I wanted additional toys and they said I couldn't just buy the toys. That's a first. I didn't get any explanation on why but that was my only issue I had with them. They got all the orders right.
Love their food, hate I have too use $20 dollars bills to pay a order of $60 up no $50 n $100 bills, come on!! Invest in a machine to "check bills" . you guys don't make enough! And if you can't trust customers, trust technology. The food was extremely fresh and hot I can actually say that we received the freshest Chicken nuggets I've ever gotten at any Mc Donald's they were the hottest I've ever received as well because most of the time they are Luke warm .It took a while for us to receive our food but it was well worth the wait as our food was excellent
STAFF IS NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL!!!! I go there about 2 times a month and I don't think I've seen a smile from any employee im the type to kill with kindness and still not even a smile and when they say have a good day ... you can tell they only say it cause they have too! But other than that the restaurant is always very clean and they only McDonald's that actually gets my order correct.
As far as mcdonalds go they are usually pretty solid. Tonight they were a little slammed so they had some delays and even miscounted the money I gave them initially but it all worked out. Wish the app was a little more fluid on information but all good.

My recent visit to McDonald's had its ups and downs. On the downside, the drive-thru screens were broken, which caused some delays and a longer wait in line. However, I must commend the friendly and accommodating staff who did their best to make up for the inconvenience. While the service could have been smoother, their positive attitude made the experience better. 4 stars for the overall friendly service and effort to provide a good experience despite the technical issues.
Newly remodeled space with modern decor. Bright and inviting. Kids area is nice for both little ones and the older, but under -11 crowd. Food is fairly fast for only having 1 cashier at any given time. We come fairly often and while the space is clean, the drink station and trashes are sometimes neglected.
Forget the drive thru which is usually slammed when I am trying to get something there and then I learned about the curbside feature in the app. Just pull into one of the numbered parking stalls, order from the app, just before you actually pay for it, the app will ask you if you would like to do curbside and if you say yes it will ask you to input your parking stall number, then finish checkout. A few moments later, a mcdonalds crew member will approach your car and verify your order, then hand they will hand over your food and drinks to you! No hassles at the drive thru or misunderstandings , disrespect, etc. Just ordering from the app, kicking back, until you see an employee heading right for your car. Anyways enjoy everyone!
Screen is often broken at this location but the majority of the employees at this location of have been friendly. The food typically comes out correctly but have had missing items in the past. Good quality is McDonalds so no disillusionment there.
Service was fast as always, communication is not well transmitted from the person taking order to the one who charge you and the one delivering your order in regards of app coupons! Even if you told them the coupon number when you place order. Seems that their system doesn't work accuratel!

I used to go to this McD's all the time for breakfast. The last several times, though, the hash browns were stale and cold. Sandwiches were OK but the bread was a little tough. It used to be you could count on all McD's to have the exact same standards of quality but this one seems to have slipped.

The usual great fries plus they have this huge scren for orders and they'll display your order in big easily readable text when you're done. Good recent menu changes. We went because my wife wanted fries. McDonald's is usually way down on my list but is coming up with the menu changes and screen.
It seems like McDonald's food has taken a dive or is it other chains have stepped it up? Either way McDonald's has to improve the quality of their food rather than how fast they can get it to you. Personally, I would much rather have to wait a few minutes for delicious quality food rather than get my order in under a minute but tastes like it was made the day before.

This location seems to have a lot of issues late night, I'd say every other time I have visited past midnight they have a issue such as not accepting cards or frier broken. One occasion they were only accepting cash and I stated I had cash it turned out they weren't accepting anything. Three stars because when I can actually order it's fine.
Drive-Thru This particular McDonald's is not my regular stop. It is in Brea on imperial near the Brea Mall. I will not stop again. Service was extremely slow through drive-thru. All I ordered was a Sprite and a sausage biscuit. The sausage has been changed. It's thin and tasteless and the sandwich was greasy for the first time ever. Yuck! When I go back to my regular stop, I'm hoping that it's the original sandwich. If so, McDonald's made a big mistake.

And yet another McDonald’s who can’t deliver in the “Drive Thru” — we ordered just three (3!) drinks: a small coffee, a chocolate shake, and a mocha frapé at 7:49pm. Nothing special. My small coffee was delivered hot at the window and then — wait for it — the young man said, “Can you pull around and we’ll bring the rest of your drinks to you?” Are you kidding?!? For drinks?!? The ineptitude of McDonald’s employees is only surpassed by the apathy of their management and franchise owners. I swear, if this horrible restaurant weren’t my wife’s favorite, I’d never darken a McDonald’s door again. Sadly, there isn’t a McDonald’s in the world who can capture and deliver on the speed and accuracy of this brand’s heyday of the 80s and 90’s. Avoid McDonald’s and this franchise specifically if only to drive it into bankruptcy and thus rid the planet of one more lost cause.
This place can get packed at a moments notice. If you are looking to feed that late night ice cream craving , don't disappoint yourself. The ice cream machine is always out. On the flip side they have some of the most riliable staff here compared to the Mcdonld's on the other side of Brea by the Walmart.
Disappointed! Chaotic! Your staff were forcing ALL customers to place their orders on kiosks. There was only one staff person to assist and one kiosk didn't work. Maybe you should spend more time on staff instead of making robots out of your customers. In the future I will do the drive thru if I decide on Mc D. Ken
As I came inside the restaurant a gentlemen with blue tape on his ear I'm assuming he had earrings. He took my order. (Nice guy) . As I when to walk to sit the tables were dirty I wanned ketchup and no little cups. There was a mess of ketchup all over the place. There was only a few people at the restaurant so there is no excuse to be that dirty. The employee that took my order I would give him a 4 star but the restaurant overall I will stick with 2 star.
I am going to keep driving to the next McDonalds in the future. This location the menu has the screen of death lines for about 6 months at least. I was using the app to order and having them bring it to my car most times, Then last night the line wrapped around to the street I thought these people are crazy and I placed my order on the app. Then I confirmed in there and it said curbside and counter service not available at around 8:30pm. Now I have no choice but to get my order in the drive thru. I thought maybe it won’t take that long, I had work to transmit by 9pm and I was barley to the window box where you order by 8:52. I whipped out my computer to try and transmit my work in the drive thru line just barley making it at 8:58 pm. I hit Brea and Imperial at 9:05 pm and grabbed a couple fries from my bag and they were cold. The app brought me back to McD but this location is not worth the hassle.

I ordered egg McMuffin and coffee with cream for mobile pick up. I waited 20 minutes and nobody had come outside with any orders. I decided to go inside and it was mayhem. I have come three separate time in a week in order to get my iced coffee and all 3 times I've had to go back inside to have them remake or correct my order. Then today in the drive through line I noticed the coffee was too dark and had not enough syrup and creamer I asked the person working the window if they could add more syrup and cream and they proceeded to hand me a small cup with the syrup in it and quickly dismissed us so that we could move out of the way. Also I found out my wife, had ordered a "bacon" egg and cheese bagel but never received the said bacon. I feel as if im gonna have to order inside pickup and im gonna have to check my order everytime I come to this location cause I dont trust them to do that correctly. The way the window person acting all dismissive was unprofessional. I know its not the best job but food is expensive and its not fair im shelling out all that money to have to check it and verify its made correctly.
Playplace area is hot. Asked multiple times to turn the ac on and was told they would. An hour later its still not on. Multiple tables and chairs are dirty and the playplace slide smells like vomit.

Currently here at 1030pm on a saturday, and the place is closed. You might as call it temporarily closed. It's on a major highway right next to a freeway and it's closed. It says 24 hours. The driveway is completely blocked off the walk in is closed. If you're not gonna be opened till at least midnight just close all together McDonald's! (Update you know it's now 1:09 am and I was coming from work and was hungry so I thought now that covid is "over" maybe this location got their act together...NOPE! They still lock up the place and shut down their "24 hour" drive through! Thank goodness for Taco Bell in Brea!
Do not order online from this place. Went to go pick up our online order and they said that they were closed when they are open 24/7. Then I called them out and they said they were in their breaks. Our Order number was RQ73 and they refused to give our order. They said we would get a refund but we never received this. They basically told us to leave or wait 30 minutes for our order because they were both on break. Terrible McDonald's.
Ordered online for curbside pickup. We get there and curbside is not available had to get in the drive-thru which was fine...only 5 cars in line. we waited for over 30 minutes to get to the speaker and No one answers we had to say something to make sure they knew they had a car at the speaker and he just says hold on and we proceed to wait possibly another 5 minutes for him to tell us our order never went through and they are having issues and are only taking cash. This McDonald’s is the worst I have ever been to in all of Orange County. It is supposedly open 24 hours and they have employees in there, but the last two times that I have come between the hours of 0300 and 0400 they have blocked off the drive thru and locked the doors. Also, I asked to talk to someone about not serving me since they were open and they were rude and said that they couldn’t serve anyone because there was only two of them working. Seems pretty self explanatory to me, and working the hours I do this place is the only place open and I can’t even eat there. Extremely disappointing, and just flat out terrible service.
I just tried to walked into this McDonald's as I live nearby and was welcomed by closed door despite the fact that there were some people still dining in and there was 1.5 hrs left till they are supposed to close their dining area.I knocked on all the doors but staff inside seemed indifferent and when one of the customer (sitting inside) opened the door for me , staff told me that right now they are only taking orders through drive thru...!!! I decided to this location due to the proximity to work since I was on my lunch break. The drive thru line wasn't long, but the wait ended up being over 50 minutes. It took me over 20 minutes to get to the order window and when I did the guy taking my order kept getting it wrong. I repeated my order 5 times before just giving up and having them place the incorrect order. When I got to the pickup window, they tried handing me the order that belong to the car behind me even though I told them it wasn't my order. The employee was extremely rude when asking for my order. When they finally had my order ready, they dropped it on the floor before handing it to me and I had to wait for them to make a new order. Because of all this, I was already running late to work, paid for an order that I didn't even intend to get, and didn't even get to eat my lunch as I was rushing to get back to work on time. This was the worst service I've ever recieved. I will not be returning to this location.
Nothing is ever ready when you order in the drive through! This place is the anti-fast food restaurant! I don’t think I have ever reviewed a McDonalds but this place is consistently late with their orders to the customer. Went to this McDonald's ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. The chicken was freaking rubbery..... I advised the manager and she casually ordered me a new one. I took it but never asked me if this was ok or sorry for the inconvenience. The staff was overworked cooks seem upset. The drive thru was busy.
Updating my review from a year ago...this place is still terrible Original: You want a McDonald's that takes 25 minutes to make your food and still get it wrong? You met the perfect location. I perform food delivery out of this location and eat here regularly. The amount of complaints this store gets for taking 25+ minutes per order is hilarious at best. Any person with a scrap of management experience could solve their problems. Most poorly run store I've seen in a 20 mile radius.
One of the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I have never ordered from here and not had to wait in the park lot for my food. This place might as well be call sonics because all you see is cars wait for their food. If you're not in a rush to get you food this is an incredible place.
These people don’t care about customer service, how is a McDonald’s in a beautiful city does so poorly. The night crew performs poorly they 4 people and it takes 15 min they need to be held accountable
Every time I asked for something there were not enough people in front. They would NOT take our order in person... told us we had to use the kiosk. Then forgot part of our order. They need more people in front as there were like twenty people there. The soda machine was turned off and had to wait for refills. There was no ketchup dispenser, napkins, straws etc. to grab easy. We spent thirty dollars on the happy meals and a filet of fish with one drink. Not worth it
On 2-9-2024, Drive thru was exaggeratedly slow. I ordered through the McDonald’s app HOPING my order would be out quicker but I was wrong. When I arrived lobby was closed before 10pm (even though the app said it was available) and curbside was unavailable. So I got in line at 9:26 expecting to be out around 10-15 minutes tops with the way things looked but i got out at 10:10pm….I waited too long for something I could’ve received a long time ago inside or through curbside! My order wasn’t even large! Ordering on the app was POINTLESS. For a restaurant that always gets rid of their best food and sauce items the wait is NOT worth it! Grab in n out or a pizza instead!
Placed an order today, was waiting in my car over 15 minutes, decided to go into a packed pickup area. I was the only car in the curbside pickup when I went in, as I was standing there waiting to get someone’s attention, I noticed a young person with a conspicuity vest on and carrying a small bag towards the door, (I figured that might be my order) instead of walking out the door, he ducked into the bathroom, It was so crowded at the counter, I decided to go back to my car, low and behold here comes bathroom boy with my order! I sure hope he washed his hands before he picked up my bag with cold food!
Slowest McDonald's on the planet. 20± minutes to get through the drive-thru to pick up a mobile order. Pathetic
Broken drive thru screen, Drive thru operator can't hear anything so you have to scream but still gets the order wrong, Huge line due to underage (she looked like she was 13 years old) drive thru operator repeating wrong order and not understanding anything. There are parking spots for drive thru patrons to park if the order does not come in time, I was asked to instead just park in front of the car after me to hold traffic. McDonald's has really gone downwards throughout the years without any hope..
Today between my appointments, I stopped at McDomald's in Brea. I saw a very unusual sight -a 80-year-old lady begging for support. I stopped to say hello and gave her cash and a big hug. She said she lived in a local motel and asked if I could get her a big glass of water with ice. I requested it from a cashier at the counter, and she replied she needed to charge for it. I explained who it was for, but she persisted. I asked the manager, and she answered the same. The manager said "She was always there." I paid $1.89 and left. I have words to express for their lack of sympathy. I filed a complaint with the customer service. Let's see how they respond.
I know I'm in for a disappointment whenever the driver through cashier doesn't give me a receipt. Even though I asked for my food (fries) hot I still got the fries that were lukewarm at best. This is the second time this McDonald's has been a disappointment, the other time we waited 30mins for cols food
Have come many times past 1:00 am and 75% of the time they are closed. It claims 24 hours but the employee take advantage of the night time and simply put cones on the entrance. They don’t allow anyone to go into they driveway and if the cones are not there, many time they’ll just straight up say they’re on break for another 30 minutes (never less than 30 minutes, they always say 30 minutes) or that the machines aren’t ready, like chicken nuggets aren’t the main thing McDonald’s is known for. I usually end up disappointed I even drove to this McDonald’s just to find out I won’t even get my food. Have decided to go to Jack in the box from now on if I want a late night snack. The 2 working employees are taking advantage of this locations and should either be placed under supervision or simply have the McDonald’s operate at normal hours. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen from McDonald’s. PS. When I do get my food, they usually don’t even cook it right and no refund was received for items points were used on.
I waited in the drive-through line for over 25 minutes late in the evening and when I got to the order sign I was told they are only taking cash. Myself and numerous other cars he did not have cash we’re stuck in a line for over 45 minutes with no way out. This is unacceptable and a sign stating they only take cash must be put up.
Food over cooked & dry Service super slow took 15 min for our food people where honking. This place in quality is going down. Back to jack in the box we go fresh everytime and takes 3-6 mins.
I got a quarter pounder last night and man it made my stomach bad the next morning
Ordered for pickup and arrived ten minutes later. 20 minutes (no exaggeration) spent watching other vehicles get their food before I went inside to check on the status of my order. Walked to the counter and wasn’t acknowledged for several minutes. A team member, not the manager, finally comes up and asks if I’m waiting for space 8’s order. I said yes and she yelled back for a deluxe breakfast. Couple more minutes, she adds it to my bag, and hands me the order. Unfortunately, it was missing the McGriddle. Associate apologizes and I head home. The bag was still missing utensils, syrup, butter, and napkins. This was not a huge order: McGriddle, McMuffins, and a deluxe breakfast and the drive through was less busy than I would have expected for breakfast. 30 minutes for an incomplete order feels egregious and insulting.
Ordered online since on google, their website, and on Uber eats it says they are open 24hrs but when going in person/ordering online they are closed but yet still accpet orders despite them being closed.
Edit: To the Owner response. I am not filling out a form. I have my feedback here and the issue. It is all here. My local McDonald’s closed but the app said this specific location was open on Christmas Day and continued accepting orders. Based on this information, I drove 20 minutes to the restaurant, only to find it closed, with multiple other cars arriving as well. Then had to drive another 20 minutes back home empty handed. Sure my order was refunded but my gas and time was wasted. The app provided misleading information, causing wasted time and travel, and should not allow orders when a location is closed.
Don't say you're open for Christmas day when you're not!!! So rude to the hundreds of people that were affected by ur inconsideration that day. On the app and online YOUR LOCATION SAID IT WAS OPEN!! So COMPLETELY RUDE!
Waited forever for my pick up order the girl with wavy burgundy hair had me wait over 30 mins. A staff member in the kitchen had to ask her why I was still waiting for my food. Not sure if she’s new or doesn’t know how to prioritize orders. Definitely crappy service. Please re train her.
Literally the worst customer experience I’ve ever had I waited an hour in drive thru because it was Christmas and I finally get to the window and the girl is rushing so she just shoved the soda into my hands and knocks it over spilling onto my bag of food so I ask for napkins and explain why I need them she immediately says “ that’s not my fault” and turns away from me. I have worked in food service before and I would never treat a customer like this the soda is literally a dollar and she couldn’t even bother to give me the time.
Where’s the beef? Right? Pay for food and you get nothing in the drive through. Called to let them know and the rep “Robin” takes my call. Then hangs up. Great customer service. Non existent. Will not be going to this location ever again. McDonalds should do random guest experiences to see how bad their franchisees care about their customers. They would be shocked!!! Maybe not. They make enough money to let the bad surveys keep coming in. It’s sad when revenue is more important than the human element. At the same time. None of their employees had facemasks on! During this time of Covid. No way I trust this location. Be warned everyone.
Where to start... the self-order stations didn’t work, so we had to wait for someone to come out front to take our order. Halfway through ordering the person went on break (literally just walked away) and a new guy had to start our order over. Then it took 25 minutes to get our food—a happy meal hamburger and a chicken sandwich—nothing fancy. Only when the manager tried to convince me to change our order to something that was already cooked did she apologize for the long wait. Eventually we got our money back, but we had to ask (after 25 minutes). The restaurant was filthy—I don’t think the floor had been swept all day. Chicken sandwich was decent, but happy meal was terrible. Will not go back to this location.
