This coffee is exactly what I have been looking for sophisticated, bold, smooth, flavor, care in a cup sort of thing going on there. AMAZING stuff in a cup! The staff are really nice, and I got my favorite drink, the Mint Mojito, exactly how I like it. They'll adjust or remake drinks at no extra cost, and alternative dairy options are free too.

Visited Philz Coffee in Brea Mall in Brea, CA. Entrance is on the outdoor park of the mall where kids and families can enjoy the sunlight. We ordered the Philtered Soul (medium, iced creamy cream with medium sugar), Ambrosia Coffee of God (medium, hot, with medium cream and medium sugar), Luca’s Unplugged Decaf (small, light cream with light sugar) plus Crookie Croissant and Chocolate Chip Cookie. The drinks were new to me, as long as it’s decaf (I had the decaf). The pastries were, as usual, sweet and delicious. The store was spacious and clean. I appreciate that their coffee comes with choices sizes and sweetness (including creaminess). We were a group of 8 but there were a lot of spaces to move around.

Love this Philz. Vibes are 10/10 and obviously the coffee is great. They don’t take cash though so 1/10 for that. Also, Philz pasty game isn’t great. Over priced for mid tier pastries.

I went to Philz for the first time this past Saturday and it was not great. The Chai latte (hot) was very watered down and not good. It literally tasted like I got it iced and let all of the ice melt and then heated it up. I took 4-5 sips and then threw it away. I also got the pistachio croissant and it was only OK. The Custer service was great and everyone was friendly.

Been a devout Philz fan for over a decade. 4th and Berry in San Francisco was my local spot. Even convinced a good friend to join their marketing team at the Dogpatch HQ many years ago. Since moving to Orange County, Fullerton and Old Town Orange have been my go-to spots though it can sometimes take 30 minutes to get to them. I was excited for Brea to open since it's a tiny bit closer (though still a bit of a trek from Yorba Linda). My wife and I went most mornings since the grand opening then took a break after being repeatedly disappointed. Quality is all over the place as they train up their baristas. We started going a little further to the Fullerton location for our morning coffee runs to get a little more consistency. But after a bad week there where it was a miss for three days in a row, we decided to give Brea another shot. There's an OG barista named Kristine at Brea. I believe she came over from the Costa Mesa location. She makes the most consistent / best coffee at Brea. If I could guarantee our mobile orders are directed to her every morning, it'd be a no-brainer hitting up this location every morning. But at the moment, it's a roll of the dice. Three stars until quality is more even. Will update when that occurs! For Philz newbies. If you like Philtered Soul or Silken Splendor, give these two off-menu items a shot: Silken Soul or Soul Train.

I was so disappointed with my experience at the Philz Coffee location today. It's the nicest location that I've been to, but the staff were not friendly at all. We were the first customers of the morning, so maybe they're just not morning people. They didn't even ask us if our coffee was any good like they usually do. And to top it off, when my sister tried to lift her cup, the coffee spilled everywhere because it was too full. The barista just stared and didn't offer any help, we had to ask for a paper towel ourselves. My sister even asked if she could pour some out so it wouldn't spill, but the barista just ignored her. So disappointed in the lack of customer service here. #PhilzCoffee #Disappointed 🙁☕️

I thought I was just the only one but this location isn't up to par as other Philz locations. I tried to convince myself after several visits and finally decided to just go out of my way back to where my love of Philz began in Fullerton. That top notch superb flava 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
