This is THE best restaurant. The staff treats you like family, and the food is impeccable. My favorite meal in the whole world is from Dolce Bene- Do not miss out on this hidden gem! Pollo Verona, fried burrata, ahi tuna, its all phenomenal.

Absolutely amazing! Authentic Italian food, atmosphere and Benny is terrific!! This is a must go to. Perfect for events or just a date night. Their pasta and bolognese is incredible! Highly recommend Dolce Bene!! ❤️❤️

Nice menu, the specials were awesome. Fried burratta was something the whole table enjoyed. Staff was wonderful and let our group take out time and chat before serving entrees. Looking forward to coming back again.

I wish I could rate Dolce Bene more than 5 stars, it deserves more. The service was incredible and we were seated very fast and immediately served with water and bread. Our food came out fast and was delicious. Both of my girls said that might’ve been their best meal ever, and they don’t say that a lot. It was a wonderful experience and if you’re looking for somewhere to go, this is it. Everyone was very sweet and welcoming and made it a very special night.

Excellent choice for Italian, and I'd say tops in the area that we've found so far. Core menu has many of the choices that you'd expect, and then there were a lot of interesting specials. All of our dishes were presented well, and very flavorful. Servers and owner are very present and engaging, and seem very committed to delivering a good experience.

We had a great meal. The pork shank Osso Buco was incredible. The service was great. It’s a little loud, but otherwise a very nice atmosphere. We enjoyed our meal tremendously.

Went to Dolce Bene last evening with my wife and two friends. Staff and the owner made it a beautiful experience. The Italian cuisine was some of the best we had in a long time. It is BYOB, and more than worth going to and enjoying a fabulous meal! They were also very accommodating to substitute and change the presentation to the diners wishes

Went here for dinner with the extended family. The treatment was excellent and the food was delicious. Do pay attention to their specials as my dish was from the specials selection and it was a hit. Surprised how affordable the meals were given the quality of the food. Will come back

Best Italian place I’ve ever been to. The pasta, steak and calamari is amazing I went to many vacations with 5 star dinners but nothing like this. The lights and decorations is the great mood for a birthday party and has amazing food. They give the food very quickly it took about 10 minutes to get main course and it’s not very busy. good music and has fantastic food i think that everybody in Warren New Jersey should go here as a formal restaurant.

I had the seafood pasta dish and it was amazing. Very high quality food as well. The staff were so nice and accommodating. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Dolce Benny I was there for dinner on Saturday night food and service was top notch. I ordered the special boneless beef rissotto my wife got the MahiMahi special absolutely delicious & let’s not forget the BangBang shrimp appetizer special. Looking forward to bring my rest of family and friends there for next big occasions.

Great place if you are looking for real italian. Went for Valentine’s Day date, even have us a real rose. Very well priced also

We have been dining in Dolce Benet since it has opened and the food has always been outstanding. Benny, his brothers and Tutti take very good care of their customers. They will accommodate any change you would like on your order and take pride in giving everyone a wonderful dining experience. I should have written this long ago and our excellent dinners last night prompted me to write this as they are so deserving and such hard workers who want to please their customers. Our shared appetizer of garlic shrimp and toast was so delicious with large shrimp and wonderful saucy bread and we left not a crumb behind. Our pork chop and shrimp entrees were so generous and out of this world delish. We are away frequently but Dolce Benet is always at the top of our list when we return.

I’ve been here with my family many times and just recently as well and the food is always phenomenal. The owner Benny and staff are amazing people, they have great hospitality and very welcoming!! The food is always great and has big portions. The chefs do an amazing job at making everything soo delicious i couldn’t ever get tired of it. The environment is very charming, relaxing and cozy. The moment you step through the door you’re greeted with an outstanding dining experience. Overall Dolce Bene is an outstanding Italian dining destination.

Came from out of state, looked up Italian restaurants near me and wanted to check this one out. It completely blew my socks off the chicken parm was off the charts. Highly recommend. Food was excellent and the staff and atmosphere was great. If I lived around here I would come all the time!!!

To anyone who is looking for an authentic and welcoming restaurant with excellent service - Dolce Bene has it all. From the moment I walked in with my family to the very end of our experience, Benny (the owner) and the rest of the staff accommodated us. This place is perfect for family events, dinner dates, and anything else. The food was excellent in all aspects, from presentation to taste, it was obvious the cook behind this year is very experienced! The menu is very diverse with a dish for everyone to enjoy. I cannot say enough positive things about this place, it rightfully deserves recognition and respect from top critics.

We used Dolce Bene for our rehearsal dinner and it was fantastic. They have a big room in the back for private parties and it was perfect for us. We came and tried it and loved our meal before we finalized our rehearsal booking. Benny was extremely helpful and accommodating because we had a lot of questions and requests. The rehearsal dinner was so great, everyone was raving about the food, everything I tried was phenomenal and Benny, Tuti and all of the staff members who helped us out were so kind and friendly. It is BYOB too, which is great. I will definitely be coming back for dinner. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for good Italian food with a great atmosphere.

Yesterday evening, 18 members of our immediate family, and my wife and I, celebrated my wife’s special birthday at DOLCE BENE in Martinsville. Everything was ordered off the menu. I had met with BENE, the proprietor, beforehand to go over basic details of my wife’s special night. I don’t usually review restaurants, but felt compelled to let the reading public know how outstanding this meal was. BENE and his staff could not have been more accommodating and gracious. Each dish was impeccably and beautifully presented and was absolutely delicious and unique. I cannot thank these people enough for making this special evening even more special for my family. I recommend DOLCE BENE to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience in every respect.

This place deserves 5 stars and more. Benny the owner and all his staff are so welcoming and friendly. The service and ambiance is excellent, as nice music plays in the background. My family and I’s dinner tasted excellent, definitely worth the price. I always recommend this place to friends and family, it deserves all the love and high reviews it gets.

went here for my best friends birthday dinner. The food was amazing. I had three cheese ravioli. no one at my table disliked thier food.it was all perfect. the service was great very attentive and friendly. desserts were also so good. The vibe was very cozy, i liked that they had dim lights in there it wasnt to bright. I will defintley be back with my husband again.

Dolce Bene gets better and better each time I come. The ambiance and dining experience is phenomenal and unmatched by any other restaurant. The service is excellent from all staff, especially the owner Benny, who truly captures and understands the meaning of fine dining. Was there Thursday night and will definitely return.

Delicious Food. We were warmly greeted and enjoyed hearing several Specials for this evening. The atmosphere is festive, with lights, garland and candles for each table. We shared a Caesar salad, I had the salmon in scampi sauce with potato and sautéed spinach and cannelloni beans. My husband enjoyed the Mahi Special. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. A BYOB. We will definitely be back.

What a great find! Unique dishes that were absolutely delicious! Every entrée around the table was beautifully presented and enjoyed fully! The owner was a lovely man that made sure our meal was perfect in every way. And it certainly was! Very highly recommend!

The food was delicious, the fish specials were our favorite. The ravioli is excellent too. You definitely have to try the mushroom soup. Bene was great. We felt welcomed and comfortable

My favorite neighborhood Italian. A bistro feel but reasonable price. They absolutely know how to make fish and seafood. Some of the special sauces that they made reminds me of a trip to the south of France, light but full of flavors.

Been here 5+ times and everything we’ve ordered has been absolutely delicious. Definitely our new favorite restaurant.

Wonderful dining experience!... delicious food, pleasant & accommodating staff, and it’s BYOB! We had the String Beans Insalata (unique combo of ingredients & very tasty) from the regular menu & the Seared Scallops with Butternut Squash Risotto (perfectly prepared) from the evening’s specials, both were excellent. We will definitely be returning.. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Delicious, freshly prepared food. Large menu with daily specials. Our favorite restaurant. Tonight we had eggplant rollatini to start, I enjoyed my Salmon in Scampi sauce and my husband loved the Cod Special served over linguini, we shared our favorite dessert - lemon cello cake. Wonderful!!

This place was amazing! We had the flounder francese and the veal parm. Both were excellent. It was the best flounder francese I ever had. The focaccia bread was also excellent. I could have made a meal out of the focaccia and dip alone. The restaurant was well appointed and the owner was very attentive. Bocelli playing in the background just added to the experience. We can't wait to go back and try other dishes. The prices were comparable to other restaurants however the one disappointment was the extra credit card fee. Food prices are high enough and the customer already has to subsidize the service, now we are forced to pay for credit card fees. It's not easy to always carry cash.

My husband and I found this gem of a restaurant a couple of years ago and it's worth the trip for us to return often. We have never been disappointed. The food and the presentations are a work of art and beyond delicious. The owner greets us each time as if we were family and he is always present. He goes over the massive list of daily specials, and alters orders upon request. The food is top quality and the menu and the specials are expansive and extraordinary!

Little gem in the middle of Somerset County. Came here as a large group for dinner after an event. The decor is simple but projects family atmosphere just like lots of Italian trattorias. Food is simple but taste great. One would need to listen to the specials because unlike most places I've been to they are actually good! This time around the Lamb Osso Bucco was to die for. Service is top notch including handling some very strange ordering requirements from our very large group. Overall a great place to visit although a wine list may be better then BYOB for the restaurant style.

A really good Italian restaurant. We never heard of it but found a table for Valentine’s Day and had a good time. It’s BYOB - so bring something, no bar. Plenty of parking out back. Food was very good - I tried 3 things. We didn’t try any apps but the bread is amazing. It’s basically garlic knots with a garlic pesto oil they bring out. Fire. NY Strip - quite good. Nice thick cut, excellent flavor. Was ordered med rare and came out medium but still hit the spot. Linguine with seafood (di mare). - the sauce was ok (light flavor, could use a bit more seasoning and garlic) but the seafood was perfect - fresh and flavorful. I wanted more shrimp but it came with a nice lobster tail. A good choice. Pollo Verona - this was the hit. Excellent kind of smoky flavor. Good portion, perfectly cooked.

The reason I am giving only 3 stars is because of the prices. The food is really good and so is the service. The menu items are fairly priced, but the specials are about $40 or more, which is not disclosed when they are presented. We had gone here several times and just got tired of the high prices. We were even charged $20 for bread pudding which was rung up as crème brûlée (which is understandably more money). I would say go to this restaurant, but be wary of the prices of the specials and desserts.

To start off, the food was good but my lamb was raw. Also, my friend ordered chicken parm on angel hair but she got chicken parm on ziti pasta. The service was terrible. We had to ask multiple times for water and the waiters tried to ignore us when we asked for water or when our food will come until we walked up to them. Also, the food took 2 hours to come. Finally, the atmosphere was good, it had good music and wasn’t too loud. Overall, the restaurant did poorly and didn’t meet the recent reviews expectations.

Food was bland and incredibly over priced. Specials didn’t taste good and were not worth the money. The special of filet mignon meatballs were dry. The special of cod and angel hair pasta was not worth $38. Fish had no flavor. Chicken parmesan had less than a handful of pasta. Might as well have been on a kids menu. They gave maybe two slices of a corner piece of bread for the table. The bread was hard and difficult to eat. The soup and the dessert were the only items that were reasonably priced. So disappointed.

Idk how this restaurant has 4.7 stars. I went for Valentine’s Day, first time there, my parents told me not to go but because of the rating I gave it a shot. I ordered fried calamari, grilled chicken in rigatoni vodka sauce and my gf got chicken Verona. First off calamari and my vodka sauce dish were very small portions. My vodka sauce had like 15 noodles in it, 3/4 small pieces of FAKE FROZEN GRILLED CHICKEN WITH THE GRILL MARKS ON IT. I was furious, I’m still mad. I will never go back there ever again and it’s 2 minutes from my house. Besides the bad and small portioned food, the staff was very nice, gotta give them their kudos. But you go for the food and it did not even come close to satisfaction

NY Strip was extremely tough and fatty as well as overcooked. Service was awful- waiter took our order and brought us food, did not check on us once during the meal to refill our water or see how the food was. finished plates for appetizers and bread were on the table throughout the whole meal and didn’t take them away. took 45 min for them to come to give us the check after finishing our meals. had reservations for 6:30 and took them 10 min to seat us as well. host didn’t walk us to our table, just waved us over. do NOT recommend.
