Osteria da Cico ..via Riviere 3 ..Brione province of Brescia. This is an informal but easy to reach place...even if the road is a bit rough, and it arrives up in this small village hidden among the hills, but once you arrive you realize that both inside and out this is definitely a beautiful place, with a truly fantastic view of the valley and the green hills. With a warm and welcoming internal room and a beautiful covered terrace outside surrounded by nature. Among the dishes you can taste we find... the Brescian spit, buttered meat gateaux, good grilled meat, cold cuts platters, good homemade giardiniera, orange duck, and roast duck, chips and radicchio, tiramisu, berry cake, ginseng, asparagus risotto, butter and sage crepes, fruit cakes, polenta, Sacher torte, spit and potatoes, cheesecake, and many other traditional dishes. Here, after having a very good dinner, I would say... you see a very fair bill arriving at the table... which ranges from 20 to 30 euros per person, but for an evening in the countryside with friends, what more could you want? I recommend you come up here and try it.

I've been coming here my whole life, ever since I was little. It feels like a little mountain cabin, they make you feel at home. On Sundays, they offer two lunch menus: an appetizer of delicious mixed cold cuts and homemade giardiniera; casoncelli with butter and sage, or mushroom risotto, or asparagus risotto; skewered or grilled meat or duck accompanied by fries, polenta, and melted cheese; desserts like meringue, tiramisu, etc., and of course, water, wine, and coffee are included. Total per person: €27... WHERE CAN YOU FIND AN OSTERIA LIKE THIS? The only downside is the road to get there: it's very steep and there's no two-way street, so be careful! Oh, and a super tip: BOOK at least a week in advance.

What can I say to get you to go? It's a must, the place is small. BOOK NOW. Welcoming, friendly staff, excellent food quality/price ratio, and parking is just past the tavern!

Osteria with a 5-star quality/price ratio. Very generous portions, good quality of food. Rustic place, panoramic position. A few climbs and hairpin bends but then you have a large lot available near the osteria. Friendly and helpful staff.

Places like this always manage to maintain their reputation, offering pleasant surprises. The osteria is located in an old building with a panoramic terrace offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and countryside. Despite being always crowded, the staff is quick to serve, remaining friendly and helpful. The signature dishes are traditional Brescian fare, particularly the tender and generous spit-roasted skewer, grilled meats, and an unforgettable duck à l'orange. The wines are local, produced on site or in Franciacorta, the desserts are delicious, and there's no shortage of little touches like grilled cheese or fruit casually brought to the table just when you think the action is over. This isn't a fancy restaurant with high-end finishes, but a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place where the menu reigns supreme. The prices are more than fair; reservations are recommended.

The atmosphere is very rustic and the service is good, but this restaurant is definitely an excellent choice for those who want traditional Brescian food without frills at reasonable prices.

Tutto buono, risotto, casoncelli pasta e menù spiedo. Personale molto cortese e abbastanza veloce. Prezzo onestissimo. Posto piuttosto rumoroso a causa delle tavolate presenti.

Ambiente informale e semplice raggiungibile percorrendo una strada un po’ impervia di un paese decisamente sperduto. Il cibo è buono (consiglio il riso e non i casoncelli, che sono industriali). Spiedo alla brace e formaggio fuso meritevoli. Dolci casalinghi. Prezzo conveniente.
