The roti breakfast was great. So tasty, just enough food to fill me up. Also had a blueberry smoothie and they let me take out the vanilla syrup which has added sugar. I'll be back. #rotilife

I almost never write reviews, but wow the food here was phenomenal. The roti was flaky and butter, and the chicken with vegetables was incredibly fragrant and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was delicious (and yes, I know how cliché that sounds).

Roti was flakey, chicken was flavorful, the coconut side sauce is beyond delicious. There were lots of veggies in the curry, as well as avocado and orange slices to balance out the richness of the roti. Well thought out meal, very affordable prices so I would highly recommend for a quick lunch! Also - VERY vegan friendly which is great. Thank you Aman Cafe!

Amazing roti canai (one of the better ones in the bay). Tried the rice bowl with chicken- tastebuds blown in amazement. Chicken was juicy and the sauce was just right.

Generous portions of tasty curries and roti or rice. We had comfort chicken roti and also tofu-potato rice bowl. Pairs perfectly with their ginger-turmeric lemonade. Very rich and delicious.

The Roti was actually pretty delicious. The photos on the menu makes it look like the food comes like a wrap but in actuality the curry is served separately (which I appreciate). We had the Comfort dish with chicken. If I were to order again I'd get it without the chicken. Mango lasso was good too

I had the roti breakfast and I was so pleased! The curry was packed with flavor, the egg was perfectly cooked, and the vegetables were the right texture. The vibes were relaxing - great music, lots of space, and big windows at the front. I’m excited to come back and try out other dishes!

Aman Cafe in Temescal is an absolute gem. They serve a delicious roti that’s quite similar to a Malabar paratha—flaky, soft, and perfect for scooping up their flavorful chicken and vegetarian dishes. The dip is out of the world 11/10. The portion sizes are generous, and the food feels like true comfort food warm, satisfying, and made with care. The ambience is lovely and relaxed, with great music playing in the background. Highly recommend if you’re craving something hearty and soulful!

Aman Cafe is a cool place to go when you want a modern yet international breakfast or lunch in a hip location. First of all they are a first class coffee shop serving an excellent brew, but they also serve Indian style Roti served American style with savory or sweet toppings, much as you might enjoy a crepe in an upscale American / French breakfast joint. They also serve a delicious garlic noodle lunch, with your choice of chicken, tofu or shrimp. The noodles are delicious with just the perfect texture. You can accompany this with a Mango Lassi or from a choice of other smoothie type drinks. The interior is impeccable and modern with progressive music featuring catchy beats. The service is also excellent, friendly and prompt. They have a good Internet connection and is a good place to settle down to do some work. I was excited to find this interesting and unique location and highly recommend giving the place a try.

I’ve been here a few times, Younis suggested the green onion paratha with vegetables and avocado. He had the chef add tofu as I said I liked tofu too. Great food as always, flavorful and zesty. Younis and I talked more, about the owner of Teni & Aman Cafe. She’s East African and developed Burma Superstar’s menu. With Teni & Aman cafe, she’s carved her own corner in the South East Asian dining market. If you like Malaysian cuisine, you will enjoy Aman Cafe.

5 stars all the way! I took the Roti Breakfast..wow ! The roti bread was flaky, crispy and soft inside. The coconut sauce was delicious with all the veggies, the right amount of spice. Even the cappuccino was really good. Restaurant very clean and everyone smiles at you ! Thank you for making my breakfast a perfect start of my day. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I loved Aman Cafe. We came a few months after opening and I can’t say great things about it. Despite the photos on the menu, these roti are massive and will leave you feeling satisfied if not a little too full. We got the Roti Comfort and Tropical Roti (with soy protein), which were both delicious, with plenty of vegetables and curry to complete a carb-based meal. Will definitely come back to try more of the menu, and maybe the desserts. The street-side outdoor seating was a bit in the way, but the indoor seating was plenty if you’re looking to eat inside.

I saw the ratings and didn't know what to expect. Brought my family here to avoid the Berkely Parents' Weekend crowds. I was so pleasantly surprised the quality of the food and service. The roti is so fresh - perfectly crispy and chewy. The spices on the food and house coconut dipping sauce offered so much flavor - we were all blown away. Our kids loved the Thai Tea. Accomodates vegan taste buds and all other dietary preferences.

Good food, quick service. I had the roti comfort with chicken. It was very yummy! As a Southeast Asian who is a slight snob about roti, I found the roti here just like those from home. Freshly made, good balance of moist and slightly crunchy. The coconut sauce could have done with some spice, but was tasty anyway. I found it a little pricey (back home roti is cheap comfort food) but enjoyed my experience there.
