love this!!!!!! supr delicious kimbap! friendly service, cash only if you don't know the place, it's take out only, no sitting available 😁
Delicious and super fresh! If you like Kimbap, you gotta give it a try! Bring cash cuz it is cash only!
The food was amazing. I 100% recommend the Bulgogi Bibimbap. The service was good. They always made sure we had water and asked us if we needed anything else. Extremely friendly. I loved the atmosphere, not too loud and the place was cute. I hope to come back again soon!!
This is a great place for a quick bite to-go in K-Town. It's cash-only and the service is fast. I got the Beef Bulgogi Kimbap, which is a thin marinated beef, and it was very solid. All the ingredients tasted fresh. I'd definitely recommend stopping by here if you're looking to grab something fresh and fast.
Love this place! The kimbap is so delicious. It's convenient and fair price. The elderly couple is super sweet and they hand make the rolls right there in front of you when you order. Everything taste super fresh and home made because it is! Not a sit down resturant. Just order at counter and take to go.
E-Mo is a hidden kimbap gem in ktown. I came here to grab a few rolls to share with friends and they were delicious and easy to share. The staff was also extremely nice - the woman who took our order was so friendly and the woman who was making the kimbap in the back was so skilled and quick. We ordered one beef kimbap and one spicy squid kimbap. Both were equally delicious and would totally come back for more.
This is my absolute favorite kimbap place in entire NY. If you like kimbap (Korean sushi roll) then you definitely will like their rolls. It is REALLY small shop so it’s very hard to find. But if you find it, try it!! Literally a hidden gem. You won’t regret it. Only down side is, they used to be $7-8 per roll though now it’s almost $10 per roll. I don’t eat a lot though I usually have 2-3 rolls, so it is getting a lot more expensive than how it used to be. I didn’t get soup that comes with it either. Though I’m gonna keep going there out of love and support for this place.
Delicious food but not that cheap though. Small shop, can only stand and eat, but order to make and wait time is short. Good to order as to go, or just need a quick bite to save some times. The soup is delicious too. Price is around USD 7 to USD 9. The picture is beef kimbab, the beef is Korean style beef, marinated with sweet sauce before cook.
Great Korean kimbap for to go only. It's a small shop without any seating. You order at the counter, pay in cash, then see the staff assemble the kimbap right in front of you! Their menu ranges from bulgogi (beef) kimbap $13, spicy tuna kimbap $13, cheese kimbap $11, vegetable kimbap $11, squid kimbap $13, spam kimbap $12 and more! I liked that they included both vegetarian, seafood, and meat options.
Very small shop, friendly employees, quick service, and food is pretty good! You walk in and there is a counter and room for maybe two, pushing three people in that space to order. They take only cash and one thing to note is that if you want your change back, you have to ask! I was going to give a couple of dollars as tip either way but was a little thrown off when they did not even offer to give me change back lol the food is made fresh and taste pretty good I tried the bugulgi kimbap and the spicy chicken kimbap. Beware that the spicy chicken is delicious but pretty spicy! It is also quite expensive. I paid like twenty seven dollars for two kimbaps. Now for my standard comments. Location is very tiny but seems clean. No seating and barely any room to step inside. Very quick and efficient service though.
E-MO definitely has some of the better gimbap you’ll find in ny. It’s a little hole in the wall spot and they have tons of options. My go to gimbap are the 매은 참치 and 장어. It is takeout only so the staff usually are able to get you your food pretty quickly. They’re also super friendly and patient, i’ve ordered in korean basically every time I go and they’re really cool about it. The only downside with E-MO is that it’s a bit pricey for gimbap but if you don’t mind spending the extra money i’d say go for it.
I was seriously craving some kimbap and I decided to venture to E-MO. I ordered the spam and spicy tuna rolls to share. I was a bigger fan of the spicy tuna one! The person running the shop was radiating positive energy and added to the experience. Note: -Cash only -No seating -All options $8+ -Yummy Will be returning soon.
I had been wanting to try E-Mo for a while so I picked some up for dinner one night since I was in the area. I ordered the spicy tuna, beef, and squid rolls. The spicy tuna and beef were good, but the squid was kind of meh. It definitely tastes a lot better than the kimbap over at Woorijip. Each roll is about $8 but they're pretty big/filling. The three rolls were shared amongst two people and it was more than enough. I think one roll per person is enough if you don't want to be too stuffed. Tip - cash only
