If it’s game day it’s a day at Tom’s! Place is actually entertaining for game days and not just a place with muted tvs and subtitles. Tots are 🔥🔥 and burgers are bomb too! Outside seating is nice too, either out front in downtown or in the back facing the Padres stadium! It’s a vibe at Tom’s!

This is the spot for all your sports festivities. The crowd it great, the host are great, the sound system is great, this is just an overall great establishment. I love the entertainment (the trivia questions, the DJ, Daniel on the mic keeping the establishment lit.....). I came way from Nevada just to stop by here and see what Tom's Watch Bar was about and most definitely, I will be back. Thank you for such a smooth and great experience, I have all smiles and 5 stars for this place.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ TOMS Watch Bar in San Diego is hands down one of the best sports bars in the city! The food came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious exactly what you want when you’re watching a game. Service was quick and fast, and I loved how the servers worked together, helping each other out so nothing was ever missed. Has a patio for furry friends 🥰! They were super accommodating too—when we asked to switch the game on the TV right in front of us, they made it happen immediately. The atmosphere is welcoming, the music is amazing, and you can feel the energy from the whole crowd. This is one of the few sports bars that actually interacts with the fans, which makes the experience even better. It’s directly next to Petco Park, so it’s the perfect spot before or after a Padres game. And if you’re a football fan, Sunday at TOMS is unbeatable the best vibes, wall-to-wall games, and a full A1 drink list that pairs perfectly with the food. If you’re looking for amazing sports bar food, top-notch service, and the ultimate game-day experience, TOMS Watch Bar is the place. Easily one of the best in San Diego!

Came in for football Sunday before a Padres day game. Has more than enough TVs with all the games, audio for the main screens and a good draft list. Plays music during commercial breaks and touchdown trivia to keep it lively. Came up short on the stein hold, but Hayley took good care of us and Mike owned the MC. Great spot before and after Padres games!

Tom's Watch Bar is the place to be on Sundays! Food is amazing, drinks are icy cold and the service is phenomenal. Fun and interactive during games with giveaways and competitions! Bartender Jud is attentive and kept our beverages full! Highly recommend if you're in San Diego wanting to watch sports on game day!

If you’re looking for a place to grab a bite before a Padres game, this is it! The atmosphere is busy and pumped with excitement. The food was great, and we had the best waitress! Hannah was fun and friendly and really added to the hyped up atmosphere! Would definitely recommend 💯

What a great spot to watch the game and meet with friends. We actually met here first, went to the game and came back for apps and waited out the traffic. The food was amazing. We did the Quso and had the Korean wings.

Came with a party of 12 for my sister-in-laws birthday and our server Bryce was amazing. He was so accommodating for our large party that included adults, teenagers, and two little ones, I’m sure not the norm at a sports bar. The food was delicious and all came out quickly. My “Repo Espresso “ was one of the best drinks I’ve had in a long time. Great experience- they didn’t even mind that we wanted to watch the dodger game!💙⚾️

Had a blast watching NCAA hoops with my buddy Damon at Tom’s Watch Bar—now in the East Village old Social Tap spot! The calamari and pot stickers were a hit, and Maddie was an awesome server, keeping the vibes lively. Perfect spot for GameDay eats, drinks, and solid service. Highly recommend for sports fans!

We stopped by Tom's before the Padres and Dodgers game on the Friday. I liked the atmosphere and location. The waitress Amelia was so nice and attentive. Recommended a delicious cocktail. If we are ever back in San Diego we will definitely pass by Tom's.

I can't really justify spending 20 dollars on their wings, but everything else was great. Probably the best artichoke dip I've had. Plus, they're not playing with their drinks worth every dollar.

The place was Dead !! More Employees than customers. The Manger couldn’t even come over and say HI 👋 the drinks over priced and the food as well. Stale chips, sour salsa . They charge a 4% fee on your check for nothing. Don’t know how they stay OPEN or in Business. On Top of that No Aztecs on any TVs or Anaheim Ducks they actually told me to go to another bar !!! Well I will go to another bar and not be back . — such a shame was looking forward to this sports bar / grill! 👎

I attended an event at Tom’s Watch Bar on Saturday, February 14, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with service. Although the bar was crowded, I stood at the bar for nearly 30 minutes while the bartender repeatedly ignored me and served multiple patrons around me. I was only acknowledged after a Caucasian patron—who had just walked up and was immediately offered service—pointed out that I had been waiting. When I finally placed my order, I was clear and direct. What stood out was that the bartender required me to pre-pay before making my drinks, while I observed her make drinks for several Caucasian patrons and charge them after their drinks were prepared. During the entire time I waited at the bar trying to get her attention, none of those patrons were asked to pre-pay. I paid my full tab, but the inconsistency in how I was treated was uncomfortable and disappointing. Later, my friends and I moved to the patio, where I ordered another drink from a waitress. Despite the busy environment, it took over an hour to receive it. I was eventually told that although the order had been entered multiple times, the system wasn’t recognizing it and the bar never received it. I understand that high-volume events can be stressful for staff, but being repeatedly ignored, treated differently than others, and experiencing extreme delays made this visit unenjoyable. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to ensure all patrons are treated fairly and respectfully. Update: After a Tom’s Watch Bar representative replied to my review and provided an email for further discussion, I contacted them promptly (2/17/26). Despite this, no one responded.
