Java Junction Cafe Brockport Reviews
Once a month I meet my friend at Java Junction for breakfast. A variety of items on the menu. Good coffee and tea. Love the oatmeal with brown sugar and warm milk during the winter months. Scones are a must with hot tea. I would visit more often, but don’t live in the immediate area.
This might just be me but going to Lift Bridge books and then crossing the street for lunch and coffee at Java Junction is a perfect Saturday.
The coffee is spot on amazing! I took one sip and was brought to heaven!
Great coffee shop with breakfast and lunch options. Many seating options and beans to go.
The employee was very cool and funny. The cookies they have are absolutely delicious. The coffee was coffee.... he made home made hot chocolate for my 8 year old. I will be returning when in the area again
Great food, quick service. Been coming here for years the few times I go to downtown Brockport. Editing my review to add that I like the darker more cozy atmosphere. Every other coffee shop is ultra-modern with metal seats and blinding LED lighting. This place has the soft comfy glow of the 90s and early 2000s that make the space feel intimate and welcoming.
Best cozy place I've been to in a long time. Corn beef hash is amazing coffee as well. Clean environment friendly staff.
Absolutely love it! The food is always fresh and well prepared, and their coffee is hands-down the best I've had in a while. Highly recommend!
Let me just tell you Java Junctions bagels are to die for! They are perfectly crispy on the outside but nice and fluffy on the inside! Coffee is amazing! Breakfast and lunch is amazing! If you are thinking about coming here for a bite.. I 100% recommend Java Junction. Also the workers are so nice and polite. 10/10 recommend!
Update: 1/14/23 Ringing in the new year with the best coffee house in Monroe county! Update: 10/30/22 I can tell lovte is goes into making both your amazing selection of coffee and food. Keep up the great work! Update: 8/7/22 Lovely staff and great service. Java Junction has to be the best coffee house in this general area.
I love this place. The menu is one of the best in Brockport. We always order from this place at work and it never disappoints. Their Hungarian mushroom soup is one of the best soups I've tried, and it has won a #1 soup award. They serve it daily with warm rolls. Their paninis and salads are very delicious, just like everything else on the menu. Customer service is always timely and friendly. Coffee is superb. Their dessert options are pretty minimal however and the tray behind the glass always seems empty or running out. The display could use some work. But other than that, it is large but cozy room inside with a raised level and a couch. Would definitely recommend it. I always get the southwestern panini... it comes with a garden salad (best vinaigrette!) or soup.
Such a lovely brunchfast. Make sure to get here before 2pm to savor some of the great chef creations. This Hungarian Mushroom soup is so delicious and comforting. Hits the spot. With an artful sprinkle of parsley on the plate. I ordered two eggs over-east with a soft yolk, just the way I like it. I drizzled some siracha over it. The eggs were cooked perfectly the way I asked and were so yummy. The staff is very personable and friendly. Lots of regulars and locals go here. I also had a couple matcha lattes with soy milk, which I love and they make them so delicious. If you like Chai I would also recommend their Oregon Chai latte, which is the most comforting and warming drink you can possibly have on a cold day. The location is really nice as well, on main Street with so many other nice small shops, restaurants and boutiques. Make it an afternoon and take a walk to visit the nearby shops and look around. Also right next to the canal and bridge. I love this place.
Cute little cafe! The menu has a nice variety of food. The coffee is really good here. They offer flavors that nobody else has. If you're looking for something different, this is the place! You can also buy coffee beans and grind them here. Sandwiches come with a nice side salad made with healthy greens, chopped tomatoes, cucumber, onion and balsamic vinaigrette. It's very light and tasty.
Coffee was strange in a way I can't seem to explain. Food was overcooked, I got corned beef hash and it was very dry and crunchy, which is fine for the hash but the corned beef was not doing well. Staff was awesome and very helpful while I was there. And the atmosphere is suitable for meetings and homework, very good background noise.
This is such a cute and cozy place! Loved this coffee shop’s vibe! The food here was very good. I got the TurkeyBerry Sandwich and it was delicious! However the cold coffee is unfortunately not very good. As previous reviews have mentioned, they do have all their espresso shots pre-brewed in the fridge which leads to weak and bitter cold lattes/cappuccinos. Hopefully this is something they will change. Their hot coffee options looked much better, so I would definitely recommend that over their cold coffees. Staff was pleasant during our visit. Overall a neat little place!
I went in here and took one look at the espresso machine and basically walked out. I got myself some beans. But I don't think I will ever order coffee here.....please deep clean your machines. Keep the porta filters inside the group head. And for the love of God dont pour shots into a big bucket to serve people.....big no no. Please do better. Sincerely a barista from WA state.
Weird. A coffee placed closed on Mondays. The first day of a work week when folks want coffee the most.
