Tell you what: Every time I go to eat a diner I always make sure to check for cleanliness. And I kid to not there was not one piece of dust anywhere visible to my naked eyes. Needless times say I was highly pleased. Food: I purchased the eggs over easy with grits and breakfast sausage. Eggs were made to perfection, sausage was fresh, hot, crunchy and ohhh so delish. And the grits were the creamiest I've ever tasted! Staff was attentive, after the fact, but took too long to serve or acknowledge me as a dine in customer. Atmosphere: Very cozy, pretty quiet and no hoodlums hangout about making customers feel uncomfortable. Nice experience all around!! I will be a returning custy 😆 Thank you John's Diner owners & all affiliated 👏🏽

I’ve been going to this diner for years when I lived near st. Lawrence Avenue I moved away years ago and missed their food then when I moved back to the Bronx I saw them on DoorDash and wanted to try their food again and it did not disappoint still tastes delicious and their portions are great and they are very friendly in there I’ve eaten in the restaurant a few times as well. I’ll never stop ordering from them they are amazing!

I've lived in the bronx all my life off St. Lawrence and one thing that's been a constant was John's Diner - I was there when John had the pizza shop and when he scaled back a little, he even knew my father! It's a little gem of a diner here off the 6 train, if you're looking for a real treat come in and get yourself 2 scrambled eggs and home fries with white toast - Certified classic. The staff is always kind and it gets busy time to time, but that's the charm of the NYC life! Ordered my classic, 2 scrambled eggs well done with home fries and turkey sausage with jalapeños on the side - No complaints, all flavor, all love. John's keeps me going, even when I'm studying or working hard!

I love this place. I've been coming here for over 10 years + . Food is great, great prices, and the service is the best i l9ve. My waitress shes amazing. Definitely recommend. I drive from Queens to the bronx to eat here. i even pay a toll to go eat here. that's how much i love to eat here
