Wild Ginger Bronxville Reviews
Love this place! Been a customer for years and forgot to leave a review. Love the food here. Fresh sushi rolls, tasty beef and chicken satay, their pork ribs are juicy and flavorful, fried rice always a hit, the snapper entree and other chicken entrees are tasty too. You can order anything and it will be delicious. Great prices and great service. They make to food quick too. The restaurant is cute and cozy.
It's a really cozy restaurant. E came in for an early dinner and they were not busy. Everyone was extremely friendly, and patient. The food was great. The children loved their lo mein. And my wife raku enjoyed her sushi. My pan-pan noodles were perfect. I would go back there again.
The food looked and smelled so darn good when it came out that I forgot to snap a shot before we dug in. Everything we ordered were so flavorful. The photos does not do justice. Go and try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
Very cozy lunch experience. Pork gyoza was really good, I ordered one extra serving! Enjoyed with lime. Simple pleasures.
We’ve been here many times and there’s a reason we keep coming back. No frills at this place, but the food is EXCEPTIONAL. Every. Single. Time. My personal recommendations are the Chicken Pad Thai and Generals Chicken. Both very common dishes, but they are perfectly prepared at Wild Ginger. I only wish they were closer so we could order them for delivery! The location is also amazing. Tucked in nicely in downtown Bronxville next to a bunch of other shops and restaurants. Highly recommend giving this place a shot for your next date night!
Came in here randomly after the movie theater a few doors down it was very quiet it wasn’t busy truly one of the best wonton soups I have had and I got chicken and broccoli the only thing I didn’t like was the broccoli was a little too hard maybe for the next time I can ask for them to make it a bit softer for me the server was nice I had a cantaloupe martini that didn’t taste anything like melon it tasted more like orange but it was still good the bathroom was also very clean I will be back to try more and a little pricey just for one person it was about $53
A wonderful little spot in Bronxville. The food, menu, and service is truly excellent here. Always smart to book a table as the place is really busy. Absolutely recommend this restaurant……would give it 10 stars if Google permitted.
Came here with a friend and it did not disappoint. I usually go to the Great Neck location, but this one was also elegantly decorated, comfortable and the sushi was delicious and reasonably priced!

This is overall my favorite restaurant of all time. Food is amazing (I order pork fried dumplings, chicken lo mein, and Thai spring rolls), the staff are so lovely, and the place is kept clean. Would def recommend!
I stumbled upon this restaurant a few months ago while trying to find parking for another establishment around the corner. The name immediately drew my attention, so I quickly changed plans and went in. It was a quiet Friday afternoon and the service was great, with a friendly staff person who made recommendations upon my request. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Service was fast enough and I didn't feel rushed. I took my husband there today and had the same experience. I wanted to see if things were different today before posting a review. You can't find many places with such good lunch options anymore, so it's a great find! I also love that there is municipal parking available and it's nestled among other restaurants and shopping for a fun afternoon. I think this is officially one of my spots!
Absolutely love this place for sushi! I always go for the lunch special, which includes three rolls and a choice of miso soup or salad. The portions are generous, the price is great, and everything is always fresh and delicious. Definitely one of my favorite lunch spots!
I was here only one time, for lunch. Had the sushi lunch, the fish was very fresh and delicious! Even the octopus, which I usually don't enjoy, was tender and thinly sliced, and very tasty. I'm no sushi expert lol, but I do enjoy sushi often, and the quality here was excellent imo. Based on that I would definitely recommend.
The service from the minute I walked in was 10/10. They were friendly and consistent with checking on me and my boyfriend, making sure we were okay. The food was AMAZING! I had a kani salad , the shrimp tempura roll and Philadelphia roll with avocado instead of cucumber. He had the shrimp tempura and the Godzilla roll and he also loved it. The food was fresh and served in a timely manner. 🥰😍 Will be going back very soon!! I only leave reviews when it’s worth it and this was worth it.
This is one of my FAVORITE restaurants to go to when I’m in town visiting from Florida. Former New Yorker so I’m in town often visiting family. The food is amazing, full of flavor and so many things on the menu to choose from. I would like to see more signature cocktails but the lychee martini is good. My 2 favorite dishes to get are either the scallops or the crispy honey chicken & Shrimp dish. But pretty much anything on the menu is very good. I’ve tasted sushi there too from other people in my party who ordered it and it was delicious as well. You will not be disappointed.
It's a low-key, not so expensive, good service, friendly staff, consistently good quality Asian-fusion restaurant in Bronxville. Food is definitely better than average - don't expect high-end restaurant experience at that price point. Nice cocktail selection as well - a bit too sweet for my taste but fits their clientele profile. My weekly go-to place for a chill dinner with nice people to interact with.

The food was delivered on time 👊. I ordered a bunch of rolls. Delicious, wish the "crunchy" ones were actually crunchy tho. I also ordered the vegetable hot sour soup, it was cold. The honey walnut shrimp and chicken was good. And the veggie dumplings were ok. My favorite was the chicken lo mein👌

This Wild Ginger Has Been Tamed Japanese, Sushi, in a bar. My only beef is the ambiance. It feels like a bad bar. Where there should be tables is a bar with tvs blaring prank shows from trutv at dinner time on a monday. On a packed block this place was empty. We chose high top tables near the front, which was surrounded by nearly taken care of plants and also Scallions it looked like they were growing for the kitchen in a dirty soup container. Look if you’re going to regrow all the veggies after cutting them, then I should pay less. I’m all for farming but if the kitchen is trying to save a buck, don’t display it for the customers. The front was a little dirty and spiders kept catapulting down to check us out. They have basic level sushi dishes done mediocre well. I got the 3 roll dinner, $17 with a miso, and we shared the bbq ribs and another “fancy” roll. Good enough for sushi if you already like it. Not good enough to impress a date. Go here if you love the Impractical Jokers. You can watch an entire season while at the bar.
Sat down as a table of 10 and left within 10 minutes. After ordering cokes and diet cokes we all immediately began to feel nauseous and the drinks had a weird taste. We began to suspect the fountain machine was dirty and had to ask for cans of coke. Still, we stayed to give the sad, lonely local business a shot. We then ordered their signature “wild ginger martini” which should’ve been labeled wildly disgusting martini. I couldn’t even take a second sip without my stomach turning. Still, we tried to give this failing restaurant a chance. Then, we had the “pleasure” of being approached, or rather yelled at, by a woman who accused us of making “too many changes.” Excuse us for not wanting to get sick on account of the restaurant’s filthiness. We tried to give this sad, local business a chance.. our mistake. Save yourself on the possible copay you’ll pay for the emergency room visit. You’re welcome.

Thinking about Wild Ginger? Well, think again, if you don’t you may end up asking ChatGPT the following question: which is exactly what happened to me at 3:34 am: Is it dangerous to vomit in a prostrated position while seated on the toilet? Yes, vomiting while in a prostrated position (bent forward, face down, or fully prone) on the toilet can be dangerous due to several risks: 1. Risk of Aspiration (Choking on Vomit) • When vomiting in a prostrated position, especially if your head is too low or pressed against the toilet, vomit can enter the airways instead of being expelled properly. • This can cause aspiration pneumonia, a life-threatening condition where vomit is inhaled into the lungs. 2. Increased Risk of Airway Blockage • If your neck is bent downward excessively, your airway may become partially or fully obstructed, making it harder to breathe while vomiting. • This can lead to gagging, choking, or suffocation if the vomit is not expelled properly. 3. Risk of Fainting or Hitting Your Head • Vomiting can sometimes cause a drop in blood pressure, leading to dizziness or fainting. • If you are in an unstable position (like slumped over the toilet), you could lose consciousness and hit your head on the toilet, floor, or other surfaces. 4. Poor Vomit Clearance • Vomiting effectively requires a forward-leaning, upright posture so that vomit exits the mouth freely. • A prostrated position may cause vomit to pool in the mouth or throat, increasing choking risks. ************************************************ I had the lovely garlic, ginger sauce with chicken broccoli and brown rice. All of which tasted wonderfully until about 3ish in the morning. No alcohol, just Wild Ginger’s fine work folks. Don’t do it unless you have the will power to hold back your vomit while you give your small intestines time to clear the diarrhea, so that you can barf in the same toilet you just blow up.
