Alma Negra Brooklyn Reviews
It's a historic place I frequented many, many years ago. The location has remained virtually unchanged and is still beautiful, but the rest has perhaps lost some of its charm. I remember the spectacular, artisanal puddings, not molded but homemade like they used to be. I'm still giving it 5 stars because of my affection for this place. Just a couple of tips... I loved the terracotta teapots with tea lights at the table, the option to refill your tea with the remaining water, and I have to be honest, I'm not particularly fond of black plastic infusers. I'd go back to those little tea room touches. The chocolate and pear cake was good.
A great place to chat and enjoy a meal without the hustle and bustle; dogs are also allowed... The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
A very nice and intimate place, with very knowledgeable and friendly staff, especially one young lady who was very polite and knowledgeable about the tea, named after a beautiful flower. We'll definitely be back.
I was here this evening with a friend. The young woman who served us guided us through the selection of teas and herbal teas, proving to be very kind and helpful. I ordered a "Bai Mu Tan" white tea, which had a very delicate and floral flavor, while my friend ordered the "Buon sonno" herbal tea, recommended for its relaxing effects. The place is perfect for a quiet evening; I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend an evening chatting in a pleasant and calm atmosphere.
My friends and I have become regulars. Every night, for better or worse, we always end up here because it's our cozy little spot. The girls who work there are always super kind and helpful. We love the atmosphere; we feel right at home, at ease. Over the years, we've tried all their teas, and when there's an opportunity for something new on the menu, we're always willing to experiment. Highly recommended for a hot tea and a chat with friends.
A really nice place, one of the few that mainly serves tea and herbal teas (a huge selection), even in the evening. It's also great that they serve not only that, but also hot chocolate, soft drinks, beer, desserts, and more. A bit out of the way for those who don't live near Abbiategrasso; we need a place like this in central Milan.
Located within the old walls of Abbiategrasso, this place is very welcoming and relaxing. Soft, pleasant music makes it perfect for a chat! Generous desserts, a wide selection of teas, spirits, and specialty drinks! The quality is excellent! Prices are slightly higher than average, but you pay for the exclusivity of the place. I recommend it!
A charming and very unique place. The room is a large corridor with many tables, ending at a counter where the staff carefully prepares the service. However, there are some disparate furnishings, which I personally found inconsistent with the building. The atmosphere is very quiet and serene. Each tea or herbal tea is a true experience, each served with their own method and their own cup. A much-appreciated detail. Furthermore, you can also purchase various types of loose-leaf teas and herbal teas. The ordering process is certainly convenient from a business perspective, but I didn't really appreciate it, and it makes the welcome from the staff a bit cold. In the room, you write down your order on a piece of paper that is then collected by the waiter. Overall, it's a little place that I really appreciated, especially for the wide variety of the menu and the overall feel of this place. There's only one gluten-free option on the menu, chocolate salami (I didn't order it but I noticed it on the menu), while there's no alternative for the biscuits that accompany hot drinks.
The atmosphere is relaxing, calm, and picturesque. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the quality is excellent. The only downside is the size of the place, and the seating is a bit limited. But all in all, I would definitely return. I'd recommend this place to everyone, including families.
We stopped by for a quick snack at this small but charming place located on a quiet side street. The menu, downloadable via QR code, offers a vast selection of teas with detailed descriptions of each flavor, as well as a selection of other drinks, cakes, and cookies. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Two teas, a selection of cookies, and a slice of apple pie for €19.
Pricey but worth it. The atmosphere is beautiful and the quality if the food and drinks excellent.
