We just happened upon this place because we could not find a table at Alchemy. We’re going to a concert at Barclays (Lorde!!!). This place was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious. The drinks were fantastic. We would come back if we lived anywhere near here. And my husband, who knows something about Mexican food, said everything was authentic and super great. So there you go😊 check this place out

I recently visited Bandido Brooklyn, and it was an amazing experience! It's a brand new restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed with the food — everything was absolutely delicious! From the appetizers to the main dishes, each bite was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The drinks were equally great, with some fantastic options to complement the meal. The staff here is phenomenal! They were friendly, attentive, and really made us feel welcome. As a nice touch, they even gave us a shot on the house, which was much appreciated. If you're looking for a great spot with delicious food, drinks, and exceptional service, I highly recommend checking out Bandido Brooklyn. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great drinks, nice ambiance and flavorful tacos! It's really close to Barclays Center. So if you have a concert or game, come visit them early. They also have HH on drinks so you may want to get a pre-game before your event.

We went here shortly after it opened and had a great experience! The cocktails and food were very tasty and reasonably priced. We especially enjoyed the Baja fish taco and the Flor Silvestre cocktail. Servers were also very attentive. A great addition to the neighborhood!

What a solid and review-worthy experience. The tacos (pastor and battered fish) were done RIGHT. The salsa that came with…chef’s kiss. Mezcal margarita on happy hour…WIN! I do want to add this part most of all. There were 3 hard-working, fast moving women running the front of house tonight and they were SO impressive. I actually asked if any of the 3 were part owners. The HUSTLE and obvious care they put into this beautiful corner spot needs to be recognized. It was like experiencing a perfectly choreographed dance. I come from an industry background so yes, I notice this stuff. But really, shout out to these 3 badass ladies holding it downnnnnnn.

Great new spot in the neighborhood. Came here for lunch and what a surprise to see this gem. Guac was great! We ordered the fish and shrimp tacos which were perfectly crunchy with a nice side sauce of chili! Can’t wait to come back here and try out the drinks!

Didn't know what to expect. We used to frequent the prior establishment before the remodeling. Definitely blown away by the new menu, restaurant ambiance and the new staff were helpful and friendly. Went back within the same week for more! Lol Mostly for the happy hour which the Margaritas are soo good, but that Chorizo Fundido hits! Definitely going to keep coming along as they maintain this consistency. Also they have Esteven there now too serving!

So I was craving Chilaquiles and saw that Bandido had the dish for brunch, glad I stopped by because it hit the spot. I came between brunch and dinner so there weren’t too many people in the restaurant. The food came out fairly quick and everything was delicious though sometimes lacking in a few areas. The mole sauce was on the sweeter end but still good, I much prefer the verde sauce. Our waitress was great and friendly so shoutout to her. Wouldn’t hesitate to stop by again if I’m craving a particular dish, definitely stop by if you’re in the area.

Love the shrimp tacos, chicken tacos are decent. The service was great every time I’ve been there. They have a few wines and sparkling cocktails on their menu but the two times I’ve tried to order they’ve been out of wine or bubbly.

This place was slammed on a Tuesday night because of a Liberty game going on later, and they were unfortunately understaffed. They had one server and one bartender and it just didn’t work well. Drinks took 30 minutes, the food another 15. Other diners waited 25 minutes just to order. It’s understandable if they weren’t expecting the crowd on a random Tuesday, but this place needs to be aware of nearby sporting events and staff it properly if they want to keep up. Music was loud and “clubby”. Not a relaxing dining experience. The passionfruit mezcal margarita was delicious and (almost) worth the wait. The esquites and tacos ahogados were great. But the vegetarian tacos were awful. The squash blossom taco tasted like rotten fish and I had to spit it into my napkin. The mushroom taco was bland and slimy and had terrible texture. I can’t speak to the quality of the meat tacos, but stay away if you’re vegetarian, unless you stick with the starters only. Hopefully this place finds its groove, but they don’t have it yet.

We stopped by after a NY Liberty game, I do not think the restaurant was aware of the game. They were ill prepared and the restaurant wasn't full. The staff was friendly but very slow. IT took 45 minutes to get our food and we just ordered tacos. The other odd experience was we ordered chips and guacamole and while the guaca was tasty and plentiful-we got 8 chips...we had to ask for more. What Mexican restaurant gives you 8 chips with a bowl full of guacamole? Not to mention most Mexican restaurants provide chips and salsa as a standard thing...not the Bandido. The taco's taste great but the service was lacking. Too many restaurants to go back for a send chance.

By far the worst dining experience I've had in a very long time. The tables were overcrowded, the food took about an hour to be served, about 50% of our table's order came wrong, the server kept forgetting which of our items were still late/missing, and one of the items was inedible. The service was beyond slow and the restaurant looked overwhelmed and understaffed. A very odd experience.

Just a bad vibe and not a great spot to eat. Server was on her phone the whole time and not checking in on us. Food was bland and not very fresh.
