Beets Café Brooklyn Reviews
Very clean very interesting looking patties and very tasty at the same time a lot of selections on soups and he got shakes. He’s got drinks fresh juice. It’s the spot man check it out.
One of a kind. Their food is amazing. Presentation on point. They serve all sorts of coffee and they have a wide selection of juice and smoothies. I came in for a green juice, who knew they had a food menu. I definitely recommend this place
Thank you for the afternoon chai latte. It was a bit hot, but the overall taste was great. The atmosphere is quite relaxed, so I’d definitely come back if I find myself in the neighborhood again. Thanks!
It being winter and myself being Haitian I’ve been searching for a good bowl of soup joumou to have on Sundays. I recently came to beets cafe and ordered bowl, I did have to wait as a new batch was being prepared however it was well worth it! The soup came vegetarian, this was perfect as I am pescatarian myself. The broth was smooth spicy and hardy with all the veggies and pasta and potatoes. It was just what I needed for Sunday lunch only thing that could’ve made this meal better was piece of bread to dip in it.
Açai bowl was so good, best coffee in the area too.
I’m obsessed with this cafe! I was here when they launched years ago, and it’s been a delight to watch them blossom into the neighborhood staple that they are today! You can always trust in the quality of their food, from smoothies to patties, I have never been disappointed. Black owned, with an emphasis on vegan and healthy options! I’m drinking my favorite, Matimba smoothie as I type this. Love you guys, keep it up ❤️
I myself am the manager of the cafe across the street and we are very excited to have a great addition to the neighborhood. Being such a picky eater its very difficult to find food I would actually enjoy but beets definitely had plenty of options. I tried the kale patty and the fresh O.M.G. juice (mango ,orange and even some green apple ) both tasted so fresh and yummy. The staff is also friendly and answered any questions I had with out making me feel like I was being an inconvenience.keep up the good work guys.Much love from the Daily Press family and staff !
Best vegan patties in all of NYC! I got the jerk plantain which was a little spicy and sweet and worked so perfectly with the callaloo patty which was creamy and earthy. Both so fresh and perfectly cooked. So good.
Incredible Jamaican cafe options, the patties are sooooo good, especially the Jerk Plantain!!

Beef and wild salmon patties were super good. The Tropical smoothie was amazing as well. Service was a bit on the slower side, perhaps because we came on a Sunday morning but it was good overall
love their new location with extra seating in the back! so great. the smoothies r either SUPERB or meh. (tropical island is a reliable choice, the passion fruit is good too) But most of the other smoothie places in the area choose their own hours at random, so beets is the place to go. Frozen fruit and banana but they don’t break the bank so I’m not complaining. Went with a friend who insisted we get the spinach croissant…. and it was AMAZING!!!!! to die for. Come for a smoothie but don’t skip the snacks.
Very excited for the new space! The proprietors are committed to quality and I can especially recommend the shakes. An americano and a few patties have saved me from hunger and fatigue in a rush plenty of times as well.
⭐️Had to update my review from 4yrs ago—still one of the BEST places in the neighborhood for patties, coffee, smoothies and other light fare. They moved from Rockaway Ave to Fulton street—now a much bigger space! The owner is one of the most genuine out here—support them please
Absolute best patties in Brooklyn! My favorite is the herring, but I’m a freak: the chicken, pumpkin, and salmon are also delicious. Great, friendly service, and they just moved into a new, spacious location around the corner from where they used to be.Bright, clean, inviting space to hang out and enjoy delicious patties!
Spacious, bright, one restroom, WiFi, vegan and non vegan patties, bowls…. Shredded salmon patty and greenmile smoothie were delish. Clean and fresh (new). Recommended
Cute little coffee shop in ocean hill Brooklyn area. Workers here are very friendly and nice. They have these incredible beef patties i highly recommend. They have food options as well as coffee and other beverages. If you are new to the area this can definitely be your neighborhood/everyday coffee shop!
Amazing patties (perfectly soft and flaky) and incredible blueberry muffin! A must visit spot for anyone seeking a delightful breakfast experience, I will be back to try their soup.

This was my first time here and the loaction is excellent spot in Bed-Stuy over by Rockaway Ave. B25, B60 on Fulton St. Down the block from Rockaway ave. A-Train First Car from Downtown/Last Car from Queens bound. Come and enjoy the Flava of Bklyn

The coffee is really bland and I noticed what looked like rat droppings a month ago. The lady at the front was really sweet but I feel like the atmosphere was tainted because of the boss or manager’s attitude.
Coffee taste like chalk but it’s only one girl she works in the front of the store behind the register.
