Chelsea Bagel & Pizzeria Brooklyn Reviews
The bagels and coffee here are really tasty and the menu offers lots of breakfast and sandwich options as well as pizza, sausage rolls and lots of other stuff. All bagels are made fresh on the premises. What stands out is the friendliness of the people working there, such a nice atmosphere.
From outta town? This is a great stop for breakfast. The bagels are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They have plenty of options for spreads, sandwiches and more. I got the rainbow bagel with egg and cheese. It was just what the doctor ordered. Staff were polite and helpful. Made the ordering process super easy. Small quaint shop with a great atmosphere.
Ive been to 4 or 5 other bagel places in NYC, and this was the best bagel I've had so far. I always get the same thing- everything bagel with plain cream cheese. This bagel was pretty darn good!!! Staff is friendly too. Bagel was only $2 (I'm not sure about the cream cheese), so pretty affordable.
When passing this place, I asked myself “Do I want a $10 bagel?” And yes in fact I did lol. I ordered a toasted garlic bagel with cream cheese and crispy bacon and a small coffee. The bagels here are delicious, fluffy crispy and flavorful. Made to order. The coffee is strong. Wonderful and fast service. In total I paid $10 and change. I expected to pay more.
I loved this place since I got to try my first genuine NYC bagel; I wanted to see what all the hype was about and I see now! I got a sesame bagel with chocolate chip cream cheese and absolutely devoured it. I was surprised by the amount of choices there as well; there were many types of sandwiches, pizza, bagels, sweets, salads, and even smoothies. Small sitting area, enough for maybe 6 or 7 with a table or two outside as well. Cute spot!
So glad we found this place on our trip to NYC. It’s the type of place you want to keep a secret because we got a couple of bagels and a huge pepperoni pizza and absolutely loved them! Couldn’t believe there wasn’t a queue out the door. Wish there was one in our home town back in the UK!!
Came here yesterday for lunch. Got an egg bagel with turkey and cheese (see attached image). I also got a chai latte to drink. I never had an egg bagel before, and this one was delicious! I also got a pistachio nut muffin to try. The total was under $20. This cafe also sells a variety of pizza, paninis, baked goods, beverages, and bagels! There was so many options for each thing. First time coming, but not my last! Overall 5/5, would recommend this place to others!
Ordered the Tuna Roll sandwich, i mean it was alright but too expensive, i guess is for the area they are located. Payed after tax $13 for a normal roll.
The prices at this cafe are astronomical! I just spent around $11 on a turkey bacon egg and cheese on a roll!! The service is nice enough but the sandwich wasn't anything spectacular 😩
Wanted to like this place because it's next to work and not as popular as the other 4+ star bagel options. Ended up disappointed to find my $6.80 bagel and scallion shmear afternoon snack was stale. Staff was friendly enough, but I'm unlikely to return.
They make up prices. They charged me $8 for a plain bagel with peanut butter and jelly when I’ve paid less for a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. Food is good but always have an issue with prices
