Claudia's Brooklyn Reviews
'Boozy Brunch' was 🔥 and ended with some of the best churros I have ever had. Excellent service now we have to try everything on the menu
The food, drinks and service was amazing! We sat at the bar - always sit at the bar - and got amazing and fast service. Happy hour was in full effect so I got two cafecito martinis (espresso) for $6 a piece. The best deal in town! My husband got a dirty martini and then a spicy passion fruit martini. For food I got an omelette and French toast and my husband got the tostadas. Highly recommend Claudia’s
Had a fantastic brunch here yesterday. The space is super cute and the staff are very friendly and helpful. A lot of love has been poured into this small space which is elegant and playful. Down to the jungle bird song in the ladies room I didn't realize it was Guatemalan so that was a nice surprise. They have a good menu of cocktails, wine, and many delicious options. Top of my list was their coffee, which is amazing and they sell it there in bags as well.
I really enjoyed this unexpected find! We both ordered brunch that included eggs, bacon, maduros, and some other items (but really, who needs more than eggs, bacon, and maduros?!). YUM! Plus service was quick and friendly with a dose of humor as well. My friend and I will definitely be going back!
Great cozy restaurant to have a tasty meal and wonderful service and atmosphere! My mother in law who is Guatemalan loved this place. My husband and I took her for dinner this evening and boy she was in for a treat. She ordered Hilachas which reminded her of Guatemala. My hubby and I ordered Churrasco, which came out hot and seasoned to perfection. We shared an appetizer of Antojitos which was more then enough for 3 to share. Their happy hour was worth the trip, especially after having a Guatemalan coffee martini and delicious lavender martini. I had one lavender and a spicy passion fruit martini. Katherine our lovely server/Bartender took excellent care of us and Mario the chef even came out to talk with us and later treated us to savory mole dessert! We are definitely coming again! Try this warm cozy place, and I promise you will not be disappointed!
A must!! My sister came here and went I came to town she had to take my here. My husband is from Guatemala and I we have visited the country plenty of times so anytime I can get my fix I Do ! It is a small restaurant but there is three tables for outside dining. Love the design of the restaurant. My favorite areas of design was the bar and restroom. The service was great and our waitress was very accommodating and attentive. Now... here is what we ordered and loved!! I had a cappuccino and my sister had a latte, both great Guatemalan Traditional Breakfast Brunch Carnitas Bowl El Mateo Kampero Sandwich
Best Guatemalan restaurant I’ve been to in nyc! The staff were friendly and the food was yummy! I do recommend on the weekends for brunch to get there before 1 because the line can be a bit long and the restaurant is small. The brunch box was perfect for a full meal and a nice little cocktail!
Loved this little place in out daughter’s new Brooklyn neighborhood. We were there in mid afternoon. The service was excellent and very friendly. I had a delicious omelette and an equally delicious and unusual pickle brine based martini. It was one of the best I have had in a long time. I would definitely recommend this Guatemala eatery.
I saw this restaurant being referred by one the ig foodies. So I said I would give it a try the same day. Timing is everything when you are going to this restaurant especially on a Sunday. The brunch crowd is a lot so anytime after 1 30 pm is excellent which was the time I got there after searching for a park. The service was excellent the waitresses were very friendly and professional they make you want to come back. The drinks was great strong and balanced . My sister who has the brunch special that came with coffee said that it was a great cup of coffee she had had in a long time. Now the main meal I had the chicken sandwich with chorizo, fries and aioli sauce. That chicken sandwich is in my top ten , the chicken was seasoned to perfection and that aioli sauce was fire. My sister had the black beans with extra chorizo plantains and soft shell taco she said it was really good, it normally comes with eggs but she is not an egg person but I am sure judging from everything else it would be great. Claudia's is a must visit if you are in the Bushwick area.
What an amazing place!!! Truly one of a kind in this neighborhood, the perfect weekend brunch spot. Judging by how quickly this small restaurant filled up, other locals (or recent transplants) have discovered this place already. The food was delicious. Like oh my God, so fresh, with herbs and good quality veggies. They have a great cocktail menu too, tho I did not partake. A great find, might become my new favorite place. Thanks Claudia!!!
Cute little establishment. Great Cocktails. Food was good. Amazing service. Reasonable prices.
Good place! Delicious but portions are a touch small for the price. The place is clean but could be cozier... with a candle on each table perhaps. Great friendly service. I'd definitely go back!
Very solid, cute and cozy brunch spot. I love yucca fries and the ones here did not disappoint - they were perfectly fried with a delicious sauce for dipping. (5/5) I also got the garbanzo salad, which was surprisingly filling and very flavorful - if you are looking for something a bit lighter than the traditional breakfast I highly recommend it. The service itself wasn't particularly friendly but ah well, maybe they were having a bit of an off day. I would definitely come back for those yucca fries!
Food is good, service has been better in the past. Asked for a cocktail with less sugar, it was very very sweet. the server never checked in with us throughout the entire meal. When we finally got the check we let them know the drink was not what we asked for and still had to pay for it. Very disappointing experience overall.
