Get the drunken noodles w peanut sauce - SO GOOD. No alcohol here but there is a deli across the street you can get some. Service was amazing and I’d happily come back.

TL;DR Golden Thai is excellent, high quality Thai and a cool atmosphere. I came for lunch and tried the spicy fried rice and some fried tofu and it was awesome. The flavors were on point, dry sweat Thai heat broken by bright crisp veggies and the tufo was crispy without being dry. The atmosphere inside is small but well laid-out with a very Brooklynish vibe. I've been a Bushwick resident for 8 years and Golden Thai is our neighborhood's answer to the likes of Williamsburg Thai; excellent Thai food, at a good price and in a cool setting. I no longer have to choose between my love of Thai food and my hatred of the L train. This is the restaurant the neighborhood needed!

The food is delicious and the amount is very generous. You can eat twice because the plates are big , totally worth the cash. The place is small but cute and chick. The Thai Ice tea and the Mango juice are horrible don't waste money on that. But again , the food is Yum. The lady was alone and the restaurant was full so I had to call her to refill my water. I will buy from here again inside or take out. I recommend this restaurant.

Golden Thai have singlehandedly gotten me through this pandemic. They are efficient and the food is outstanding. At this point I have had the pleasure to try all of their curries and each one is better than the next. I highly recommend helping them out and placing your order. If my review doesn’t have you convinced I am attaching photos of their delicious meals. The sauce on the ribs is going to make you wish you had bought a second order. Curry is always smooth and has a lovely kick but never super spicy. There are a few fried appetizers that might be a little too greasy but overall they are very good. I’m looking forward to normalcy when I can visit them in person because the decor of the restaurant looks very nice too.

I’ve lived in the neighborhood for years and have ordered from them countless times, they never disappoint. I've gotten other folks hooked on them, lol. Today I was rushing to a meeting and only had a short window to eat, so I called my order ahead and stopped in on my way to the train. When I arrived, they had already set a table for me with my drink ready, and my food came out within minutes. I wasn’t expecting that level of thoughtfulness, but as others have said, they truly are the sweetest people. I was able to enjoy a delicious lunch and still make my meeting on time.

Authentic Thai restaurant in Bushwick. With nyc being saturated with upscale expensive Thai restaurants, Golden Thai offers affordable prices and cozy atmosphere that has its own character. really good lunch special deals too! We ordered duck noodle soup (15$), drunken noodles (11$), fried fish cake (half eaten) - all delicious and on par with the expensive Thai food I’ve had in NYC, except much more affordable. Recommend!

My son brought home his leftovers from work from this restaurant. After driving an hour and a half to get home I was able to sample the leftovers of Drunen Noodles. Let me just say I was willing to drive to New York from New Jersey. The flavor of the spices, the tenderness of the beef, the Noodles being just right. If this is how good leftovers taste, I cant wait to visit this establishment. Chef's kiss to the chef, amazing dish!

If you are looking for a great quick Thai spot to either eat in or take out, this place hits it right on the spot! Came here after a gym session and wanted Thai flavors but didn’t want to wait too long and a large crowd. I got the pad Thai and my lady got the Drunken noodle, if a Thai place can’t make those two right they probably aren’t going to stay for long. Luckily Golden Thai made those two dishes perfectly. I would highly recommend this spot!

Golden Thai had been one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Brooklyn forever!! The portions are huge yet so affordable, especially for New York. Finally! A Thai place that actually has flavors of Thai. There so many Thai places everywhere and yet it’s very hard to find one that has spice and full flavor. This place has it! Delicious fried rice and drunken noodle that is smothered in spices and seasonings. Definitely would recommend coming in or getting take out. It’s not a very large place so good to go in a small group, alone or just with another person. The server was very kind and our food came very quickly. Delicious! I will definitely be back.

TLDR: Very small space but BIG on flavors! Affordable and delicious food that tastes like home cooking! I can't wait to come back! Came here around 7:30pm on Saturday with my friend after a comedy show. They only have 3 tables. (There's another table by the door but I think they use it as a work desk?) The server was so sweet. The Thai iced tea was not too sweet! Perfect for my geriatric millennial Asian palette. 😂 We split 3 items. The beer braised crispy ribs with sriracha dipping sauce (4 pieces) was sticky and sweet. I was impressed their sriracha was the OG Thai version that's less spicy and more umami than the American version. I gauge Thai places on their drunken noodle. Got mine with pork and it was spicy and the noodles was impressively chewy! The pad prig khing with beef was spicy and delicious! My friend said she doesn't eat vegetables but she ate these! Both entrees were ordered medium spicy and I thought it was the right amount of heat. I have a pretty high spice tolerance though. If you can't handle spice, order the mild! Cute decor, prices are very affordable, flavors were very authentic, and portions were generous so great for sharing! Clean unisex bathroom in the back (they will need to unlock the door for you). Seems like this place is more popular for delivery rather than dine in. Looking forward to coming back here soon to try more dishes! ***UPDATE 2/18/24: Came back a second time with a different friend and we were very impressed with the food! We ordered vegetarian spring rolls, pad see ew with tofu (especially loved their tofu preparation!), and penang curry with pork (I would get it without pineapple next time and spicier). Have ordered delivery a few times. Very consistent. Fast delivery. Food is solid. Not the best Thai you'll ever have but it is good. Errs on the saucy side. Only critique is portion size for the crab Rangoon. They aren't exactly cheap and you only get 4 tiny ones with an order with hardly any sauce. Expect more like 6-8.

Friendly Service, Lovely Presentation, Generous Portion Sizes, Tasty Entrees. Steamed Vegetable Dumplings were too gummy and filling was a bit mushy. Tasted much better when you added the beets garnish. Which gave the dumplings more texture.

I live a few blocks from the restaurant so I always order. Starting with the lovely lady that takes my order, very amicable, the food is always delicious, well prepared, well packaged, always hot. I ordered the “Pad Cashew Nuts” with chicken. Rarely any decent sized pieces of chicken. It also got delivered at the very last minute of the delivery time frame… I live three blocks away- I regret not going to pick it up. By the time I called inquiring about my order they said it had dispatched already…… food arrived cold and soggy.

Ordered the Drunken Noodle & Thai iced tea for delivery, and had a disappointing meal. The thai tea tasted more watered down than I would expect, even though there was no ice in the cup. The noodles were spicy, but managed to have very little sauce or flavor. In addition to that, there were large clumps of the rice noodles stuck together that had no sauce whatsoever (pictured). Finally, I understand there are variations in recipies but I have never had drunken noodles without basil, and this recipe either had basil that was so bland it didnt taste like basil or only used spinach. The additions of mushrooms (and possibly spinach) were also not what I am accustomed to.

I have been ordering from this place on a regular basis for a while now and every time it was really good. Excellent flavors. So I am sad to leave this review. I recently made an order and got very sick the next day. The only other thing I ate that day was prepackaged so I am confident I got food-borne illness from the takeout. Since I noticed the dumplings changed flavor slightly too recently, I’m wondering if they have a new cook? Either way, to the restaurant: please double check your food temperature and handling.

I ordered drunken noodles, calamari, chicken screw. Drunken noodles: very very dry, no flavors and extremely spicy, like I like spicy food but this was so spicy my lips and tongue were red and swollen. Calamari: dry and soggy, do not recommend for delivery Chicken screw: not even sure if it was chicken, the texture was a bit off for chicken but it’s taste pretty good and the peanut sauce went great with it. Sadly will not be ordering from here again.

Very very mediocre Thai food. Almost inedible. I ordered through Caviar because whoever the food photographer is, must have styled the Pad See Ew like a magician. Im talking white meat chicken chunks with the skin on. Looks traditional and delicious. (See comparison photos below.) I swear I’ve fallen for this trick too many times with this place. That’s why I’m here writing a bad review. The actual dish is shredded dry chicken covered in way too much sauce. The noodles are all stuck together into a chunk of chewy gunk and vegetables range from decently cooked to almost frozen. I honestly don’t understand how they achieved to have different temperatures of vegetables in one dish. Will never order from here again. There’s way better options in the neighborhood.

I went on Sunday night and I ordered a Thai ice tea. The person who was on the counter was not even greeting at the customer and she was very rude . She was like very mad and a person to have that kind of attitude should not working on customer service. It was a really bad impression, she even put less product on my order nothing good you should care more about the experience you provide.

I ordered Panang curry with tofu for delivery, but unfortunately the tofu pieces tasted and smelled off — almost spoiled. Some had white spots and an unpleasant texture. I couldn’t finish the dish. I’ve enjoyed food from here before, so this was disappointing. Hoping it was just a one-off issue.

Do not get the salmon so I got the drunken noodles and I got one with beef, salmon, shrimp the salmon looked like a soggy white chicken McNugget. I’m thinking I’m gonna get a fresh piece of fish, but it looked like some shriveled up nasty can’t even compare what it looked to, but it was disgusting and the beef you just chewing on it I did not eat it. My dogs would not eat it. It had no taste. I tried the duck rolls again dry and hard and that was old meat. You can tell when duck is old taste like something reheated and refried. The crab Rangoon didn’t have no crab that just taste like cream mushed in there and the ribs I bought was inedible because they were so burnt. I spent $150 with you and it was a waste of money. Nothing over here is a lie. You are a scam. Your food is trash and you should do better for your customers and then have the nerve to serve small portions that are pricey for this experience! Nobody wanna sit here and spend money for a family and waste that much money on food so yes, I will give a review because it upsets me, 4am in the morning while my stomach hurt and my daughter is sick to warn people, And by looking at a lot of your other customers, they’re complaining about the same issues also, No accountability, So instead of sitting here and just trying to say, “oh I’m your competitor and I’m lying.” Why don’t you stop lying and you do better for that trash of a restaurant and serve people quality food. There is people out here who is not even blessed to be able to own a business and you have one and you serving people trash. So instead of sitting here saying I’m a lie, like the Public can’t buy the food for themselves and see, which they already do because I’m looking at your Bad reviews on several platforms, very bad and maybe the ones that are good are your friends and relatives or something you paid for. Very dishonest staff! They charged my card twice for the same order and were very rude and unhelpful when I attempted to get the refund. Reply to Business: I called you less than two minutes after the order was made and told you it wasnt suppose to be a pick up. I was told by whom ever answered the phone to make the second order for delivery and the 1st would be canceled and refunded. You All lied to doordash telling them both orders were made and ready and I was then charged for both! Yall are dishonest theives. When I attempted to call your store back, yall kept picking up and hanging up instead of speaking to me and also explaining to doordash the conversation we had. I also called doordash that night, and was told yall said the pickup was made and ready in the app. Yall know I never got that pickup order and your cook never made it because you got the heads up call from me. The honest thing to do was speak to doordash also and let them know what happend and what was told to me by YOUR STAFF. DISHONEST AND LYING RESTAURANT, WHO STEALS FROM HONEST AND PAYING CUSTOMERS!
